Cassie literally states by way of inventory description for the Faz-Wrench that her father has one. If he worked for the Pizzaplex or Fazbear in general, there would possibly be records of Cassie in the system. Mimic also probably had access to old security footage (like the bit shown in Ruin on the AR monitor) before the Blob (Tangle is an alright name, but there's no form of Foxy anywhere so a variant of Mangle's name doesnt fit right to me) tunneled out and further destroyed the electrical and surveillance systems, hence why the cameras are now separate stations, remote powering so knowing who Cassie is or that she knew Gregory would be right up Mimics alley to replicate and lure Cassie in with Gregory's voice.
the mimic and Burntrap modals are EXTREAMLY different, here's a list real quick from looking for 0.5 seconds •teeth on Burntrap are human, mimics teeth looks the same as daycare attendant •arms are more solid on the mimic, as opposed to the more complex arms of Burntrap •the mimic is more blocky in design when Burntrap has that *perfect hourglass figure* •the mimic's hands ARE the same, however it lacks any fleshy bits, and possibly difference in rust but i cant be sure personally •*Burntrap has big fuck off bunny ears* •Burntrap has a standard endo spine while the mimic has this odd ribbon-like spine •Burntrap's head is rounder and lastly *WE SEE THE BLOB YOINK BURNTRAP*
1. We never see Burntrap's endo head, point disproven already. 2. I doubt that matters? 3. It's to make it clear Mimic is... well, Mimic. Also, he can literally change his size and form however and whenever he wants, it doesn't matter. 4. Who's to say the flesh didn't get stripped off? Mimic would have flesh on him Burntrap or not, doesn't matter. 5. So does Mimic in the books, they were like... snapped off or Mimic removed them or something. 6. Again, expand, contract, change shape. 7. Because he has a human skull??? And lastly the Burntrap Ending isn't canon.

I think Burn trap is A mimic as in the books they say FE made a mimic V2 and it could end up become the glam rock endos that burn traps endo resembles therefor I The Mimic can exist with a mimic of afton
(Warning, long ass comment, be prepared.) I still disagree with the Princess Quest ending being the canon ending, because besides the arcade machine with the sword in it, which could've just been meant to be a cool visual effect, nothing outright states it as canon. Ruined Freddy is very clearly a different Glamrock Freddy than the one in Security Breach, with the prototype label on his foot clearly telling what he is, and it would not be there if it wasn't meant to indicate that. And of course, nothing outright states Vanessa is with Gregory, cause while the dialogue before the chase scene keeps it vague, he could've been referring to Freddy as the one giving directions, who definitely knows the maps of the place too. And yeah, Gregory wouldn't have the context of the Mimic or the motive to seal it up, but I also think he straight up didn't do that, I think it was Fazbear Entertainment who did that. Basically what I think happened was Gregory went back to the Pizzaplex sometime after the Burntrap ending, with Freddy of course, just to explore the destroyed shit after the fire in the Pizza Place made everything above it collapse, explaining the "earthquake" the newspapers reported destroying the Pizzaplex. He went down to the Pizza Place at some point, checked out the MXES computer with his hacking skills, and learned about the program and the Mimic from that. At this point, Fazbear Entertainment already had it sealed behind the concrete wall, but the vent beside that of course was open, so he crawled through there after taking off his backpack, and the Mimic attacked him a bit after reaching the other side. He then ran away, leaving his backpack behind, but the Mimic wasn't able to give chase, probably because of the MXES program. And after escaping the Pizza Place might've been when some FE person checking the place out would've seen him, maybe even Vanessa (who'd still be Vannyfied in this scenario), which would explain the company going after him, and him being in hiding. Then he escapes, and the rest happens from there. Another note about this is how the Mimic lost its Burntrap parts in this ending. That's simple, the Blob took them. It ate the Mimic up, took a bunch of pieces from it, then spit what it needed to back out, since it didn't want to be corrupted. It can reattach parts to itself in the books, from what I remember being explained, so it could easily rebuild itself from that. And at some point after this, FE found it, then sealed it away, and built the MXES program as even further security. Most of my speculation of the events is just that, speculation, but there is one thing I think does not make sense at all if the Princess Quest ending is canon, and that's just how convenient the start of Ruin is, and even a bunch of little things throughout the game. At the start, you find the Roxy Talkie that the Mimic's talking through right on the floor in front of the doorway, very suspicious. Then you find a Fazwrench just before a locked door you need it for. And lastly the Vanni mask given by the Maskbot, who is physically different from how he was as Mapbot with bunny ears on his head. And the Vanni mask, which, might I add, is modelled after Vanny, just so happens to let you see and destroy the security nodes that are keeping the Mimic shut in, and you do that task with the Fazwrench that you just so happened to get earlier! And not only that, but there's a bunch of arrows in certain spots Pizzaplex, some with Helpi by them, guiding Cassie right where she needs to go! Basically, I think all of that was set up by someone, and there's only one person with the ability and motive to do that, that being Vanny. Why she couldn't have freed the Mimic herself, idk, maybe the Glitchtrap virus/Mimic1 program being in her made it so the MXES was able to prevent her from doing that, maybe she just wanted to spread that program to whoever found the mask, maybe both, maybe something else, idk, but the point is, she's the only one who could've and would've set all that up! And it's not like her absence from Ruin would disprove this, and in fact, there is some evidence that she's still around. It's minor, but basically, among the loads of graffiti that's sprayed on the walls of the Pizzaplex, there are sprays of Vanny's face, which I think could only happen if people saw her in the ruins, or if she did it herself for whatever reason. And another thing is the video of Vanny chasing Gregory in the Daycare theater, although I wouldn't exactly call this evidence, as the nature of it isn't quite clear, but it's still something to make note of. I apologize for this long ass comment, I'm not good at being concise, but I hope I've explained well enough the reasons why I think Burntrap ending is still canon, and Vanny is still around. *And if you need a TL;DR:* It's never made clear that Vanessa's with Gregory, Freddy could've been the one helping give directions to Cassie. The events between SB and Ruin could've gone in a way without Vanessa that still would've led to everything we know for sure happened, that being that Gregory found the MXES program and the Mimic, learned about them, and knows that the Mimic is a threat. The Blob taking up Burntrap in the last cutscene would also be a good explanation for how the Mimic would've lost the Burntrap parts after that point, and then it would've been sealed up by Fazbear Entertainment a bit after that. I also think Vanny is still around, because she's the only person who could've and would've set up the awfully convenient key items that you find at the start of Ruin, as well as the guiding arrows that are in certain spots of the Pizzaplex. And there's graffiti art of her, which could show she's still around. Also, one more thing I thought of right after typing all this: Why would Gregory message Cassie telling her to go to the Pizzaplex if he never actually intended her to be there? Simple, he didn't! Vanny did that! Granted, we don't know what that message was like, but if it was written or texted, then that would be easy. And if it was a voice message somehow, then Vanny could've gotten the Mimic to speak as Gregory for that, or used the Vanni mask's voice replication. And that would also explain why we never see her in Ruin, because she wants Cassie to unseal the Mimic for her, meaning she can't interfere. Also, semi-related point, Gregory's Fazwatch might still have access to the security cameras, assuming they're still operational, which is the only way he could've known where Cassie was, and that she'd shown up at all.
If it was Freddy giving the directions there’d be no reason to have the static there… And for a fake Glam Freddy, you really think the prototype also had his head removed and stomach ripped open?
@@danielroberts8049 They put the static there to make it purposefully vague, so it could go either way really, but I still think it could be Freddy. And yes, I do think that happened! Ruined Freddy was head first in a pile of rubble, so his head ks probably just in there! And all the other animatronics suffered damage they didn’t have in Security Breach, so it’s plenty possible for that to have happened to him. And let me reiterate, if the prototype label had no reason to be there, it wouldn’t, it’s that simple.
So here's my thoughts on MXES. So the VANNI network is compromised, right? and the mask is tapped into it, but it's not just the mask. The mask gives you an implant in your brain that means you're permanently in the network, and it can make or keep you from doing things like take off the mask or keep it on. Gregory probably figured that if Vannessa ever got too close, the mimic could make her put on the mask and go into Vanny mode. And it specifically needs her in the mask to access the network and turn off the nodes That's why he built a security system that specifically goes off if someone wears the mask too long. It either sets up disruptors to the mask's systems or send an animatronic after them to make sure that Vanny or whoever is infected gets set free, stalled, or attacked. As for why it's a rabbit, I have 2 theories 1. Irony or 2, and this is the interesting one. The system is looped through Bonnie's corpse. the main hub is in the basement, and Roxxie is the biggest node, but maybe the corpse is a main router or something. that's why the floor bots are keeping Bonnie down, they're an extra layer of security to keep you from turning it off, and that's why when you turn them off, you get creepy skeleton Bonnie, you've reduced the system to it's emergency protocols
3:10 I think this tweet is misleading. The stains don't really line up with Burntrap's tendons if seen on the model itself, and the only similarity between Burntrap and the Mimic is exactly one hand. Everything else, from the endoskeleton design to the teeth to the proportions, are vastly different. Sire Squawks has a pair of videos about that. Burntrap's endo is very faithful to the Springtrap and beta Spring Bonnie endos, excluding the legs, while the Mimic is almost entirely original, with a more boxy torso and head, with shoulders that are only attached by bars bent from the front and back as opposed to directly connecting to the torso. 4:40 In a blink-and-you'll-miss-it scene, you can actually see the Blob through a hole in the wall as it's on its way out of the building.

This starts to get fanfic-y but I think Glitchtrap/Afton is a thing that could plug several holes in what Ruin shows us; the story Candy Cadet tells is one of an adult (knowledgable person) and a child (a person more easily influenced) and a monster, who the adult (the mother) is able to trap and puts down, below. I wonder if Afton, or something that's a copy/ghost of him, remembers capturing and locking away the mimic and would never want the mimic loose because, you know, the mimic might not like him for multiple reasons. In story telling, a bad guy can not only be a threat to our heroes, but the bad guy might also be afraid of other bad guys; like a food chain. In RUIN, there are at least two different Gregory voices talking to Cassie; the "sound bite chunks" Greg and the "clear speech" Greg. The Latter betrays Cassie and if you listen to his word choice it's a bit detached, almost clinical in how it wants to both explain logically to Cassie why he's going to do what he is about to do and also wants to vaguely assure her it's not her fault. To me, that sort of sounds like an adult stranger talking to a child they've never met and also like someone who feels they have to justify their terrible actions to themselves and others. Often bad guys are insane as the explanation for why they do bad, illogical or cruel things. But another type of bad guy is the one who insists and must explain themselves as sort of a wall to defend themselves from accepting that what they are doing is just morally wrong and terrible.
I dont think burntrap is real its just what Gregory thinks it could look like because he never got a good look at the mimic, and after a game of getting chaser around by an evil rabbit its not that much of a strech to think it would look like a rabbit
A lot of people say that due to the differences between Mimic's and Burntrap's models, they can't be the same. However, Roxy also has changes to her model between SB and Ruin - the faceplate is entirely different between her shattered and ruined form, in ways that I don't believe can be accounted for by the simple passage of time.
The Mimic in the games is not the same as it is in the books. In fact, the actual history of the Mimic is a tad more interesting. It was accidentally created by Fazbear Entertainment R&D. How? Because of "the Client". During Special Delivery we are told that a "Client" gave the R&D old hardware and software. These belonging to Afton. Surprise! We are now entering the Inuyasha phase of Incarnations. Some of the hardware and software is used to make the VR game Help Wanted, which gives birth to the entity GlitchTrap. The leftover hardware and software is later used and installed in an animatronic. But one day one of the employees notices the color of the eyes changing. They try to replicate what happened, but it doesn't happen again and they shrug it off. It eventually escapes and ends up at the Pizzaplex, where it goes into hiding, and learning human language. They are two different sides of the same coin, but they are also enemies to each other. Again, kind of like in Inuyasha where many of Naraku's incarnations betray him.

DMuted c*mming when even thinking about the Mimic in Ruin I just know it
the mimic and Burntrap modals are EXTREAMLY different, here's a list real quick from looking for 0.5 seconds
•teeth on Burntrap are human, mimics teeth looks the same as daycare attendant
•arms are more solid on the mimic, as opposed to the more complex arms of Burntrap
•the mimic is more blocky in design when Burntrap has that *perfect hourglass figure*
•the mimic's hands ARE the same, however it lacks any fleshy bits, and possibly difference in rust but i cant be sure personally
•*Burntrap has big fuck off bunny ears*
•Burntrap has a standard endo spine while the mimic has this odd ribbon-like spine
•Burntrap's head is rounder
and lastly *WE SEE THE BLOB YOINK BURNTRAP*
@@Angermationslmao. So you think steel wool (in order to make burntrap the mimic) they’d make a completely new and deliberately different model? 🤡
@danielroberts8049 You're avoiding the obvious. It's like saying Scraptrap isn't Springtrap because they look different. And plus, Mimic has Burntrap's claw. If you still wanna doubt, do it somewhere else. And stop calling people clowns for no reason, it's not funny it's just weird.
@@Angermations bruh. Spring-scrap-burntrap are night and day compared to burntrap-mimic. One has multiple obvious design follow throughs and one is just a hand the same with everything else completely different.

that mimic not going to be the one from book, there reason the book have always been a seraptes canon and it simple the moment you need to start reading and watching othe things is the moment you start loses genral aurdances.
besides that everything about that room FELT old computer look old the cecpnet looked like it been there for decades, i don;t think this thing was out there killing teanagers, more likly it been down there since 1980. some anchent thing that built by old CEO that needed to be covered up, just like how they would later cover up afton death
I think Burn trap is A mimic as in the books they say FE made a mimic V2 and it could end up become the glam rock endos that burn traps endo resembles therefor I The Mimic can exist with a mimic of afton
(Warning, long ass comment, be prepared.)
I still disagree with the Princess Quest ending being the canon ending, because besides the arcade machine with the sword in it, which could've just been meant to be a cool visual effect, nothing outright states it as canon.
If it was Freddy giving the directions there’d be no reason to have the static there…
And for a fake Glam Freddy, you really think the prototype also had his head removed and stomach ripped open?
As for why it's a rabbit, I have 2 theories
1. Irony
or 2, and this is the interesting one. The system is looped through Bonnie's corpse. the main hub is in the basement, and Roxxie is the biggest node, but maybe the corpse is a main router or something. that's why the floor bots are keeping Bonnie down, they're an extra layer of security to keep you from turning it off, and that's why when you turn them off, you get creepy skeleton Bonnie, you've reduced the system to it's emergency protocols
thats a pretty good theory
Hey, another mimic video. Color me surprised. 😂
literally the company said that the tales from the pizzaplex books were canon months ago, sooooo this is not new
That's a really neat one! I love how it explains why'd Cassie go there in the first place, not trying to contact back Greg. Fantastic ideas!
if the mimic is burntrap then why does it need cassies help to be freed
He be stuck down there
Very good theory
Ruin was so good compared to Security Breach

Mimic Sweep
I agree
We know Blob is real and the Burntrap area is real. The Burntrap ending may not be real, but Burntrap as a character does exist.
hey- can you balence the audio a bit higher in the future i had to turn my volume way up for this video
I get it
A lot of people say that due to the differences between Mimic's and Burntrap's models, they can't be the same. However, Roxy also has changes to her model between SB and Ruin - the faceplate is entirely different between her shattered and ruined form, in ways that I don't believe can be accounted for by the simple passage of time.
But what about helpi?
