We had the most incredible day visiting 3 of Bali’s famous waterfalls and visiting the Tegallalang rice terrace. We even braved the jungle swing. We booked this through aviator (not sponsored) and it cost £45 per person which was so worth it. Our guide was incredible and he collected us from our airbnb and drove us around for the whole day. This also included our 3 course lunch! 100% recommend!...

    I've heard dietitians say those food allergy tests just react to all the things you typically eat. The constipation is probably because aip excludes grains, which are a significant source of fibre for a lot of people. Not sure if it's allowed on aip but if it is, adding some psyllium husk in might help. I do actually think the weight changes are partly relevant, less body fat means less estrogen, and although estrogen doesn't cause endo, the lesions do respond to it. I had way less endo symptoms when I had RED-s (which causes low hormones), although I don't recommend that as a treatment for endo!!

  • @eimearrosenicholl3734
    @eimearrosenicholl3734 Місяць тому

    I've also gone private, but I'm still undiagnosed, so a bit earlier on in my journey. I was on an NHS waiting list but starting getting crazy symptoms during my period that my GP made me go to A&E for, and I couldn't take the disruption to my life any longer. I'm having a laparoscopy next month. I have lots of bowel symptoms too, but not sure if there is any endo there, it could just be loads of inflammation driving endo symptoms. I looked into that diet too after she started posting about it, but I have a personal history of trying to control my pain with overly restrictive diets that led me to develop osteoporosis in my 20s (I'm in my late 30s now). I've managed to mostly reverse it through good diet and exercise habits, so I don't want to make that mistake again. But honestly getting my weight low enough to stop my periods was the only thing that worked to treat my pain for so many years and it has been so hard to deal with regular periods again for the past 3 years. Personally I am trying a diet that is actually designed for inflammatory bowel disease, for a few reasons. I have high bowel inflammation markers and had mild inflammation in my colon when I had a colonoscopy a few years ago, not bad enough to get diagnosed with IBD, but something weird is going on, and the diet is less restrictive looking than AIP- and I don't want to trigger my old disordered eating habits. For me it's important to find a way of eating that provides some relief in the least restrictive way possible. It was developed by the University of Massachusetts. It is more focused on increasing soluble fibre to treat gut dybiosis, which drives bowel inflammation, and there is some evidence that endo is somehow related to gut dysbiosis. It excludes refined forms of carbohydrates, so simple carbs, including lactose, but because fermented dairy has no lactose left, you can still have things like kefir and yogurt, and it's important to me to keep my calcium intake up for my bone health. Might be something for you to look at if AIP doesn't work out- but again like AIP, this diet doesn't target endo specifically. www.umassmed.edu/nutrition/ibd/ibdaid/ NAC+ALA+bromelain have helped a lot with my bladder symptoms, I've stopped it twice and the symptoms have come back, it's been tested on endo so might be another thing to try alongside diet changes. It's quite cheap and I find it helps. It was tested in the LEAP study, think it was in Spain pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30007250/#:~:text=Conclusions%3A%20Women%20with%20endometriosis%20who,lower%20intake%20of%20rescue%20analgesics I buy the three separately off amazon, 6 months worth is like £45. There is a company in Spain making a one tablet of this, but I can't find it for sale. They're basically just potent anti-oxidant/anti-inflammatory substances. That said it has done nothing for my period pain, in fact in the time I've been taking it I've had much worse symptoms beyond just pain- but that could be because I need to have surgery first to get mine under control. My consultant has also talked about GnRH medications after surgery, like the decapeptyl you mentioned. I have been reading about dienogest myself, and I'm going to ask if that's an option I can try after surgery. Up to now I haven't done well with adding hormones in, like combined or mini pill, and dienogest is kind of like a potent mini pill, whereas decapeptyl and similar drugs shut down hormone production at the level of the brain. Good luck with whatever you decide to go for! Keep us updated :)

    I would recommend looking into systemic enzymes. They are a powerful anti inflammatory that are protein eating enzymes which is particularly good for ebdo because they only consume fibrin which endo tissues are full of. This means they should help reduce the tissue growth and even reverse it if taken in huge doses. However, unfortunately you may not like because you havevto take a lot multiple times a day haha. I The best brands are fibrovera and serrita serrapeptase both by Arthur medical. Another one which of most powerful which u can take with food is zymessence by WAM essentials. Thry effectively eat scar tissue and reduce inflammation If you want to to naturally control estrogen myomin by chi health is very effective as well as Sinsest by Wam essentials. These bring estrogen to normal levels along with fibro cosuming enzymes. Worth a look! I sgree about not sitting and waiting

    I don’t think men should be gynecologists. They have no idea! Only what books can teach you. When Drs. say surgery is hard on your body, they have no idea what chronic pain & a laundry list of symptoms does to you physically & mentally. It’s absolutely detrimental.

    Did mri or blood tests show anything or just this one. I had mri and blood test and nothing so having this surgery in 2 months to see and nervous there not gonna find nothing even though I got symptoms

      I didn’t have an MRI but my bloods and ultrasounds all were normal. When I had my surgery they removed endo from my left and right side and there were adhesions too so don’t take a clear scan and bloods for nothing. The only way for it to be diagnosed is surgery. Praying for a smooth surgery 🙏🏽

      Oh did you not I had a mri and blood and nothing showed but he let me have the surgery so I got that in December. I just found out my dad side the family few have endometriosis too. I'm more nervous that I have the surgery and they can't find it and I'm back to square one but it's been over 7 years for me with All this I think if the doctor tells me it's this ill probably cry my eyes out that someone finally taking me seriously

    Hey, thanks for the vid, very informative! Did your dentist provider start your treatment or did you go to an orthodontist?

    Hi Sophie I’ve just recently found your videos , I’ve been struggling with soreness and itching down there and bv after training. Would you have any solutions to prevent this? ❤

      The biggest thing I’d say is sitting in a wet swimsuit for a long time is breeding ground for bacteria so I’d say get showered and changed as quickly as you can if this is something you’re struggling with
