The calm voiceover, the music, the unpretentiousness, the talking points, the beautiful shots, and of course the pieces. Favorite watch channel by far.
I've always LOVED the 512. The only reason I never bought one is because I don't like the idea of unscrewing the crown every 2 or 3 days for winding. It scares me how much wear that puts on the crown stem/seals, and how it can affect the water resistance. That's one of the reasons I love my Luminor 8 days. But still, the 512 design is so beautiful!
I know its a different brand, but I own a 1970 rolex precision hand wound (6426)which I've had since 1989 and which I wear regularly but not everyday.I don't know about water resistance but this watch still operates smoothly and the crown screws in as intended.
First and foremost you made an amazing video. However despite it being 100m water resistant it doesn’t mean it’s dive worthy or even go that deep. There is information online on how what the water resistant rating actually means.
Fred Xie My PAM312 doesn’t look like this at all. It looks like someone unfamiliar with the quick-change pins took a metal screwdriver to it (it comes with a plastic tool). Or you can use tooth picks. Someone hacked this one up.
I love my 1950 case PAM 1351 Titanium with Tobacco sandwich dial, it's one of the lightest and by far the most comfortable watch I own. This 512 is definitely a jewel though, plenty of Panerai features without shouting about it ;-)
Took me a second take to spot the lugs and crown ,Very dif from usual Radiomir and pretty damn gorgeous too .I'm a big watch guy and looking funnily enough at a Luminor pam 111 next but this is a real gem for the smaller wrist .
Well....Personally for me, this video is good but not for the very Panerai object. As the author mantioned - in horology an eye for detail is everything. Details matters, guys! Really the do. After examining this presentation, have noticed several moments: 1. The real geometry of 42 case does not reflect the spirit of Panerai. For this brand the watch is still small (in real life it is) and it is still small on the rist. Be careful gyus, while bying it from the internet or photo image! With Panerai design 42mm looks 40. 2. The lugs are very narrow, badly polished, the holes in them are not symmetric (correct me if I am mistaken!) the standart leather strap pulls up the cusion case and does not match the lugs as it should be with luxury brand watch. That means - the geometry is totaly experemental. And you are the next victim ....dear watch lover! 3. Movement. NOT AUTOMATIC. P99 movement is manual. It is ok for standart radiomir, but today one should understand when the watch should be winded and what is its power reserve. No indication. The bridges: cheap satin... no beveled edges, large holes (metal economy), no gold chatons (no luxury class details), small rubbies.. Well it looks like basic enlarged Passegux? (correct me if I am wrong). 4. Crown. Simplicity. For its small size it is not conus radiomir like. Is it screwed down one? Then how does the barel serves with smaller size watch when you screw and unscrew the crown every day? Do you ever think about it? Is it not the same spring problem appear as with Rolex Celini? Finally... the author suggests us to step into Panerai water for 5k.US... Well.... to join the firm (with discontinued experemental model) that usually gives us a bit of this and a bit of that for its money value? As a penerai lover I would reconsider the ticket price substentually. As well as the model. Thank you.
I hate this… your videos make me salivate and want whatever is in them… like this PAM512, never would I have considered a Radiomir but this is stunning… also never would have considered hand wound but I hear it’s more reliable than autos
Whoa i have no ideal why or how you popped in my feed but your video was one of the best watch showcases I have ever seen. Great ambience and soundtrack. Subscribed!
I’m a fan of Panerai watches and always have been although last year I purchased my two favorite Pams. The 1940 Radiomir 662, 47mm and the all titanium 1351 in 44mm case. I think yours looks great on your wrist and congrats!
I wish they would shrink this to a 40mm, lose the fauxtina on the markers, and offer improve that movement. I want to love Panerai but they just aren’t doing it for me at the moment.
This video completely inspired me to buy this model and I love it ! Thank you for this. Would you happen to know the strap you used in this video? To my eye it’s perfect and would love you imitate on mine! Thanks
I had already decided on something else for my next watch. Then I started watching this video. Then I heard the price of this Panerai. Now I'm thinking of something else for my next watch.
Kudos this is a pretty darn effective ad for Panerai. I thought all Panerais were clunky but this one is near perfect. Does it sport 8 day reserve? If not how much?
Did I just get hit on by a watch?
Dude you have great taste! I love how your watches are all over the price ranges!
That means a lot to me. I want to show people that there are great watches at all prices.
The calm voiceover, the music, the unpretentiousness, the talking points, the beautiful shots, and of course the pieces. Favorite watch channel by far.
Great channel, reminds me of another one that starts with a "W" and ends in "atchfinder"

Agreed with Alan comment. Calm and clear presentation. Thumbs up 👍
Perfect title. Describes my sentiments and interests in the watch exactly.
i love watches that could be used in every moment for every thing like this radiomir

@@jimbrown2044 Thanks for the reassurance, and helping to push me closer to picking up one of these when a chance arises.
Have you tried some of the 38mm versions?
The only panerai I would buy.
Wow, this video is perfect. It summarizes exactly what I felt I wanted out of a Panerai
First and foremost you made an amazing video.
However despite it being 100m water resistant it doesn’t mean it’s dive worthy or even go that deep. There is information online on how what the water resistant rating actually means.
I love all the watches you review because they seem like the watches I'd actually consider buying/would wear.
That is one beautiful watch.
You have excellent taste, sir.
Nicely done review as well.
This is probably the most elegant Panerai I've ever seen! Stunning.
Beautiful video and review. Can you share what strap that is please??
I want one!
Great video. One of the sources of inspiration for me picking up my PAM00512 recently. Keep it up.
Ugly watch. Looks like a diesel watch
1:42 Is the finishing around the drilled lugs typical for Panerai? I am not too impressed considering the price range...
just looked at my 723, mine are finished much nicer. Not sure whats up with this one
Noticed that too. Terrible.
nothing like that on my 682, probably used some kind of screwdrivers to change straps and left those marks
@@lettuce1305 Must be, that's not normal for a watch of this price range.
Fred Xie My PAM312 doesn’t look like this at all. It looks like someone unfamiliar with the quick-change pins took a metal screwdriver to it (it comes with a plastic tool). Or you can use tooth picks. Someone hacked this one up.
Your videos keep getting better and better mate! Look forward to every upload.
Thanks so much!
The only Panerai I would consider
Nice watch and movement..Still prefer the classic Radiomir with wire lugs, diamond crown and 45mm..
Nice review and filming. You have a nice way with words. Also, I almost like this Panerai...
I agree. would consider the 512 if I would to get a new PAM
this will be my dream watch until i die.
If you will it, it is no dream.
You mean it's the Joey of the range...
🤫
Saying exactly how we all feel about Panerai. You're spot on with the strap too. Matches the indices nicely.
Such a beautiful watch and lovely review, thanks

Hermoso reloj no conocía esa marca esa caratula se ve genial. Buen video 👍

To be honest, I'm more interested in the strap. Nice watch for sure but more info on the strap was needed..... Just my $.02

Man….that is a perfect Panerai. I’m also normally in the “repulsed” camp, but this this is amazing
I am not a Panerai fan. I really like this one though. The size is perfect, and the aesthetics are clean. I love the dial.
Did you sell your PAM111 or was this an additional buy? Great review as always, keep up the great work!
*I ' M A P A N E R A I*
That's kinda adorable

Stand and salute a beautifully executed review. And that, ladies and gents, is exactly how it’s done. Bravo.
Whoa i have no ideal why or how you popped in my feed but your video was one of the best watch showcases I have ever seen. Great ambience and soundtrack. Subscribed!
42mm case with 22mm lugs with 12mm thick and under is simply perfect proportions.
That’s a beauty right there. Thanks for the video
I’m with you on this!...I see a “Pam” on my wrist in the future!
Too lazy to read all the comments….what’s the strap lol I know u love that questions!?
I’m a fan of Panerai watches and always have been although last year I purchased my two favorite Pams. The 1940 Radiomir 662, 47mm and the all titanium 1351 in 44mm case. I think yours looks great on your wrist and congrats!
Title is exactly what I felt about this watch! Great for small wrist yet have full taste of Panerai at once.
Fantastic design. One of kind dial. The only down side is, make it in 39 or 40mm tops.
Ladies section is over ➡️
I absolutely love the Panerai selection of beautiful Radiomir Luminor timepieces. Great video, presented well indeed!!
The video is nice, the watch is nice too, but The sandwich dial is just bad and the fake aged lume is meh too
Can you review PAM779? Thanks
I have a small wrist only 5ft8 and very slim so iI cannot wear big watches
It was somehow that one with in house movmt and advertised as in house. Shame and disrespect for the resl paneristi
Ugh why did I see this video!! This is near perfection in my opinion
Wish it had 20 mm lugs !
I feel the wider (22mm) lugs tend to visually reduce the proportions or size of the case. Imagine if the lug spacing was 8mm.
Thanks for the great video. Panerai has so many model, which ones are your picks as your first panerai.
That's the only Panerai I'd get.
Strap video for this watch would be so nice.
A little rich for my blood, but a great looking time piece. Thanks for the review!
Those drilled lugs with the holes so close to the edge make me cringe
The only way to make it better would be to make it a 40mm.
Great review and I have this watch. Now my 21 year old son is wearing it .. he loves it and said it’s his but I said I’m only loaning it to him
Well done. I am not a Panerai guy either but you basically said everything I was thinking about this particular model. Great stuff!
that is such a beautiful pan. i gotta get one now on the channel. its a stunner.
I have a Panerai Radiomir PAM00572. LOVE IT! Best Panerai to me.
It is the lack of thickness that makes it. That’s probably the only one I could wear. My wrist is so damn flat.
The band is not dressy enough for this watch. Give me a beautiful Alligator leather band, possibly in blue, and that will do the trick.
Personally, I don't consider 100M dive worthy.
I have dozen watches, favour Rolex..over any.. But, Panerai is beautiful.. In its own league, always will be.. Nothing else like that in existence.
100m isnt dive worthy...means you can swim around with it basically
I hate general design of Panerai. How strange that, this one looks absolutely STUNNING!.. I would love to have one. Looking soo stylish
What a channel. I will have to send you my 316 for video. Bravo my man ❤
Looks great lmho
love it, and I ain't no panerai fan boi
I just got this one after watched ypur video. Thank you
I wish they would shrink this to a 40mm, lose the fauxtina on the markers, and offer improve that movement. I want to love Panerai but they just aren’t doing it for me at the moment.
I want a Panerai that says I'm a Panerai. With GMT function and crown locking mechanism all the juicy stuff)
Most beautiful modern Radiomir I saw 😍🤩👍 thanks for a awesome video about Pam 111 after your review I got one 😅👍
I noticed you sold this watch recently, can I ask why? The reason I ask is Im thinking about buying this watch. Thanks
Great content as usual! Nice everyday piece, strongly considering!
I'm a fan.
Nice watch but pam 574 is worth a look..more modern better movement
What's with the finishing for the strap pin holes at 01:42..... expected better quality than that
When I think Panerai I think sandwich dial, followed by crown guard. As long as it has at least one of the two I'm satisfied!
Great watch, but the band is not good. They look like the one I made in leather arts class. For 5K, get me an alligator.
@YoureTerrific - Would love to know where you got this strap from, it’s perfect 👌🏻
How does the cost of ownership compare to, say, an Omega co-axial movement?
You have great taste. I’m a panerai and seiko collector. Had Rolex, iwc, but it always ends at panerai and seiko
What is that strap on the 512?
Yes ! Seductive Architecture a Small Seconds at the 9 . So very well proportioned and masterfully imagined .
Thanks 😊
Keep walking, only a another unreadable watch.
Not a great design at all.
Panerai Radiomir and Luminor Marina are a sure bet towards great watch ownership
YOU HAVE THE BEST WATCH COLLECTION MAN. WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING
I’m repulsed by Panerais, I’m only here for the smooth ASMR voice.
And then I watched the video and yet again was sold a watch by this treacle-tongued bastard.

This video completely inspired me to buy this model and I love it ! Thank you for this.
Would you happen to know the strap you used in this video? To my eye it’s perfect and would love you imitate on mine! Thanks
That crown isn’t flush against the case. Is that normal for this watch? I’ve seen this in other photos.
Only one i really like. The others are toooo big...for me at least.
Beautiful!! Is it an original Panerai strap?
Sorry, I found my answer!!
Dude I wouldn’t flirt with a woman that smoothly
I had already decided on something else for my next watch. Then I started watching this video. Then I heard the price of this Panerai. Now I'm thinking of something else for my next watch.
Kudos this is a pretty darn effective ad for Panerai. I thought all Panerais were clunky but this one is near perfect. Does it sport 8 day reserve? If not how much?
This seduction strategy makes me who hates Panerai to actually consider getting one
Great video! Love my 512 for sure (wedding gift from my wife). Would love details on that strap. Thanks, and keep up the great work.
