Really hoping that with Battle League they could include all the old stadiums just like Charged did with the OG. As long as they expand the roster and keep the game’s essence alive, I’ll be playing the heck out of it this summer

I've never played a Mario Strikers game before, but I'm super excited to try this one out! Other Mario sports games are too simple for me but it looks to be at least slightly more complicated with the power ups and the many different settings. Great Video!
I would recommend mario tennis aces for you to try, it is literally a fighting game in disguise, there is a lot of depth in the mix ups. Also mario golf super rush is very strategic and intense in the battlegolf course…

Prepare to be disappointed with Battle League, I tried the demo and is very different. Charged is still the best.

I thought he would’ve talked about the story mode in strikers charged because it is amazing. Also surprised he didn’t talk about how their was more unlock able characters in strikers charged but overall good video 👍 Can’t wait for the new strikers game

If Battle League combines the best elements of both of them, which it looks like it might, then we may have a modern classic on our hands
Well, Battle League *definitely* isn't using megastrikes, that's for sure.
@@Loner098 It's mixing the mechanics of the super-strikes with the flashy, Over-the-top animation of the mega-strikes.
Best of both worlds in my opinion.

When I was playing the first game I found some rare animation of Bowser.
I was charging a shot with Daisy and Bowser dropped in front facing away the ball hit him in the butt and he flew off the Field at a angle screaming and holding his rear end it was hilarious

Charged is Mario Hockey, but the Captains are WWE Stars, and Nintendo wanted to sell the game to people outside of Canada.

Man, Mario Strikers is still a really fun franchise to play to this day! It obviously stands as the best Mario Sports games ever, it's really so amazing! XD And it's where I started to fall in love with Daisy!

I love this game posting the gameplay on my channel post twice a week but to find the community around this game is wow!!! I wish I jumped into this community back then. To see how people to still play this game just wow.
Played so much Strikers on the GC, it was great for couch multiplayer and I really wish we could have had 8-player support. The game is so chaotic and there are so many weird situations that can arise from the flexible mechanics. While in some cases this kind of sucks, like the random chance to miss a shot during a pass, often the scrambles that ensue from weird bounces or item usage leads to incredibly hype moments. And just as much as it is hype to be a part of cool stuff, it's still fun when your goalie randomly goes Super Saiyan and makes crazy save after crazy save. The highlights and Instant Replay systems are incredible systems, it really enhances the experience of getting a goal.
If you want to flex during your next session, try timing a Deke right as the opposing goalie lunges at you. If done right, you can zip past him and get a shot on an open net. It looks really cool if the game picks it up as a slow motion highlight.
the new strikers is looking pretty cool but its missing some of original charm... and many of the gameplay elements

Mario party superstars has a (american) football minigame and its super fun. The problem is that its insanely short (its over after just few seconds). A full game like that would be awesome.

Amen. This game is the best. The camecube one is still my favorite because I probably have 1,000 hours into that one. Still plays great to this day

I played the first Mario strikers with my best friend for years every day for hours over hours. We never played charged for some reason. Now the new battle league is released and I think I don't buy a switch and battle league, I think I buy a Wii and Charged😂

Original and Charged were so good and so chaotic that I expected Battle League to be super over the top chaotic with their animations.....boom disappointment.
I disagree with the mega strikes. Good comeback factor for more casual players and if you're good at blocking you can shut them down anyways. Neat little mini game to stop your opponent in their tracks
This is more like the ideas I was hoping for. For Bsttle League that is.
Trophies and cup battles: vast and lovely like in the 1st game. The Cup Battles should have normal and super cup battles like in the first game. And the trophies should get bigger shinier and with lovelier detail in the higher difficulties.
Captains: Have them be better than all the sidekicks and have their own special abilities super strike and mega strike.
Like maybe the super strike of a captain be like a fully charged shot of a sidekick.
Examples like Mario's being a fireball that burns and stuns the goalie leaving an opening for a goal for Mario or a teammate. And for Luigi maybe the same but with green fire. They could do like a 2 or 3 point score like in the first game. Keeping the megastrikes the same though. But with different ways to block em that arent motion controlled
Sidekicks: vast and customizeable like Charged but none being OP. As well as adding in more sidekicks like Magikoopas Chargin chucks and bloopers
items: Same as in the 1st game.
Courses: More like the 1st game's courses with limited hazards
Losing animations: Some captains having animations where they attack enemy players like Bowser grabbing an enemy player and breathing fire at their face and Wario sitting on an opponent and farting on them. Inspired by Petey eating an opponent in Charged.
Other customizations: outfit colors and details. Also keep the charged armor and ball
Most of all, make it balanced and fair and depending on player skill.
Another thing. Use more of that cool sketchy art style from the gamecube game's cover art.
Let's all hope Mario Strikers: Battle League is gonna be great! Also Infinite Bits, once the switch version releases, are u gonna do a ranking on these games?

I only tried the first Strikers, and now I want to buy them all. I'm not really into soccer, but I am a huge hockey fan, and it feels so much like a hockey game, but way more chaotic.
