There was a warning on your link not to use it and to go back so I wasn’t able to get your site. You might want to check out that link. Excellent tutorial tho, very clear and concise. Thank you
Thank you for letting me know. I am working to get the link fixed. For now, you can find my pattern by searching for Blooming Bowl Cozy on Etsy.com, my shop name is Night Owl Quilts TX. Thanks for watching!
You don't run any stitches to hold the front and back together in the center? It seems like you could sew fewer lines the first time and add a couple at the end. Also, you said to sew the darts with a straight line, but it looked like you curved off at the end of the darts. These are really pretty--Ree Drummond would love a set! lol
I see you don't cut a batting piece for the lining of the cozy. I have made these following the directions on the quilting ruler, but it seems so bulky when you stitch around the finished cozy. Do you find that only putting one piece of wrap and zap works good? Thank you
For this style of bowl cozy, I have tried with one and two layers of batting. I saw very little difference when heated following the battings guidelines (no more than 2 minute increments) Thanks for you question!
I have tried it with both one and two layers of batting, and I prefer one. I tested them in the microwave heating a variety of foods and one layer still keeps hand from burning in my experience. I don’t see any harm in using two layers if that’s what you prefer, it was super tough to turn the rounded corners though! Let me know what you try!
@@NightOwlQuilts I also think that Wrap and Zap is way too thick for two layers of batting. Done a bit of research today and found quite a few people say they only use one layer and it works fine also. Thank you for your video.
The pattern is printed on 1-2 pages depending on if you want to cut on the fold. You need about 15” x WOF for large. All specific details are in the pattern 😉
4:12 Hi! I am loving your tutorial but and wondering how to get a copy of the pattern? I do not subscribe to UA-cam and am wondering if that is the issue?

Best bowl cozy design but worst audio. No effort to match the music to on screen action, mood. More like cartoon music. Hope this comment helps push the video out. Best bowl cozy pattern.
Thank you! I’m so grateful for you doing this video. Concise and nice for perfect results!
Love your bowl shape and instructions the best of any I’ve watched. (suggestion for future videos - NO music!)
Thank you so much for your kind words and suggestions. I will definitely re-think the music in the future!
I agree about NO MUSIC PLEASE. Annoying and the repetition has me going bye-bye ...
Love it❣️ (but ditch the music.. it’s distracting & don’t need it).
I agree I found it annoying. I didn't even finish watching the video.
I agree. Got on my nerves.
I find that I enjoy the music. You can always hit mute. Or I can play music of my own while working. Options are amazing! Great video.
Very good tutorial. I can sound out the music. BTW. TFS ✌🏼
I just bought this pattern from your Etsy shop and I’m so excited to try it out!
Love this tutorial.
Love this pattern! It’s my favorite of the three different ones I’ve tried. ❤
Is the pattern still available? I couldn't find you on Etsy and the link doesn't work. Thank you. This is a fabulous tutorial.

Very nice instructions/demonstration. Cute bowl cozies. Thanks for the video 😊🎄
I love the tutorial, but the music drove me nuts. So I just bought the patters. Lol
Very good instructions!
Love this

Interesting only one layer of batting….I imagine it will be so much easier to turn.
Is the 1 layer of batting adequate for the microwave ? I’ve been sing 2 layers but it becomes quite bulky. Thank you.
I agree, I use 2..1 I don't think is enough

Great tutorial! What kind of sewing machine do you use?
I use a Juki TL-2010q and it’s hands down my favorite machine I’ve ever owned. I’ve had it for about 12 years now.
Is the pattern for the large printed on 1 or 2 page?
What are the fabric dimensions for the large?

Please turn off that horrible music, it doesn’t do a thing for me, just so annoying to me that I want to turn the tutorial off.
Help!
