We definitely lucked up when we found this luau on Groupon!
Having been to Oahu over the 11 years ago, we went to a luau everyone swore by and it was just okay.
This time, we went with the flow and found one when we got there. We love an educational AND entertaining experience and this luau did NOT disappoint!
The Google reviews were the first sign we were in for a treat.
We learned about all of the islands surrounding and including Hawai’i and their respective cultures through an amazing presentation that felt more like a high level step show (like the ones we used to put on at MTSU)!
The food was plentiful and delicious.
The weather was chilly (Hawai’i in December) but they have blankets for sale and multiple types of hot chocolate which the kids loved.
They did not have alcohol included, but there were tables with bottles of alcohol they purchased.
The biggest surprise was just how well the staff played every role for the luau so efficiently and with excellence!
They took time to love on us and learn about us even laughing as we discussed our Southern accent. It wasn’t long before they started playing TN whiskey and we felt that was such a sweet touch!
The energy was amazing!
We learned so much and recommend this luau for kids and adults as there was no shortage of fun activities such as lei making, warrior tattoos, cooking demonstrations, tastings and more!
This luau hosted by the Hawai’i Country Club is a gem and a must go when in Oahu!
