An unforgettable evening, recorded on September 13th 2008 at St. James's Church, Piccadilly, celebrating Robert & Leonard's translations of Hafez, and publication of their book "The Angels Knocking At The Tavern Door".
The video was unpublished until now because of technical issues, happily resolved enough to make the tape available.

Great to see you here Mr Darr! Both have passed away now. May God bless their souls. Although they were from our Sufi Order, I didn’t have chance to meet them . I think you were one of the last people to see Mr Lewisohn.

Hafez is not muslim, he is the most beautiful “infidel” we, the Persian have.
