I got the exact same bumper And the rear one with swing out for a spare tire. But I had a shop do a 43,000 Build on My 05 Sequoia limited. 3 and 3/4 inch lift. Total chaos long travel kit. King 2.5 coil lovers and rear shocks. Nito ridge grappler 35x12.5x17 Wrapped around Method wheels with beadlock technology. Eaton lockers Front and rear. 4,88 gears. New fiberglass flared front fingers for high clearance. Also from coastal off road rock sliders. And there's a whole bunch of other stuff I can't list I don't have enough room. Thank God I didn't have to Weld that damn thing together lol. Probably would have saved myself a ton of money though.
Nice looking rig. I love the white. I looked at similar bumper kits but I don't know how to weld and don't know anyone I trust to do it so I bought a custom bumper from Brute Force Fab. Still about 8 weeks out but I'm excited. Gonna bump up from 33's to 35's afterwards.
your bumper looks identical to brute force bumper which means their turn key bracket should work on the coastal kit. the bracket from brute force is for rerouting power steering lines
Hello, thanks for the great video. Did you have to change the angle to square on the factory brackets in the beginning of your video? Or did you leave the factory angle?
Very cool video and mod. Thank you for sharing. Would you laugh if I asked if you knew of or would suggest any, or share your ideas, on bumper mods for a 2021 Sienna? The wife nixed the Sequoia for now.
This bumper I believe has the option for that. Usually though you have to get the bumper shipped to an industrial site that can unload as it will come on a pallet. I wanted it shipped straight to my door so we put it together ourselves
how did you mount the bumper to the frame? The mount points are angled and it says "wack with a hammer" in the instructions but i can't get the back plate of the coastal bumper to sit flush with the #2 #3 plates.
Are you talking about the plates that bolt to the side of the frame? We had to drill the holes out a bit forward for it to sit properly but I don’t remember wacking anything with a hammer. We’re you able to figure it out?
I just ordered my Coastal off-road bumper for my 02 sequoia, why did you have to flip the fan around? Trying to plan for my build because I know how simple projects turn into full weekend projects lol.
it depends on if you're putting a winch in or not. The winch hits a couple of things like the condenser fan for the rear air and the a/c line that runs in the front. It was no problem with no winch
If anyone is going to build this bumper make sure before you build it and put it on that your a wench that you're going to use will fit I got the superwench And it didn't fit the handle. You have to pull to release the tension on your. Cable. Will be closed off and you can't get to it. And it is so tight. You can barely squeeze it in there. I had to get another wench.Warn wench fit but Still have to Finagil your hand to get to the handle..
Please get the guy running the gas torch some eye protection. The radiation from the light of a gas torch can make you blind with to much direct exposure.
Welder and torch guy, here. I think we come with some kind of cooling slime on the outer eyeball according to owners manual. Jk but agree all PPE should be worn correctly. To be honest we wore all the correct PPE until we filmed it, didn’t feel the video would be internet worthy if no one could call us out.
it is the tundra/sequoia bumper. it is the correct bumper that is on the website. takes a little modification to make it perfect the way i wanted it though
@@ChasingYourAdventure sorry, I just meant the grille trim plastic vs the top plate, seems like it might have been easier and maybe sit more flush, but when it went back on, I guess you adjusted it a tiny bit higher, so the plastic tucked behind. Looks good in the last shots. Was just throwing it out there.
@@KiaDave no worries! That grille trim piece just under the grille is actually metal and we contemplated cutting it off and decided it wasn’t the best option since if we had to go back to stock it would’ve looked like the car was missing a row of teeth haha
Nice to have friends. Looks great. Good color choice.

The best part was the canine foreman coming out periodically to inspect and supervise
Great job guys. I plan to Raptor spray mine.
Man that looks beautiful
Thanks!
That looks like a big enough project that i will need something else to drive for a little while.
Looks amazing. What size lift and tires do you have on there?
2” bilstein adjustable shocks with dobinson springs. 285/75/17 tire size

Sounds sweet. Would love to see it after it comes in
Looks good. Just need a winch and you can go just about anywhere! Shout out to Jay for sending me this video.
Thanks! Winch will be on soon

Love it I wish I knew how to weld
I'm ready to get one for my 05. I think these look a little slicker then the Brute.
Much more slimline than the BFF
Hey, great video, do you have any videos for the assembly of the lights?
The winch installation video has the install of all the front end LEDs as well
Hello, thanks for the great video. Did you have to change the angle to square on the factory brackets in the beginning of your video? Or did you leave the factory angle?
Left the factory angle!
Thanks!
Nice man 👍🏽

Haha I have never seen any bumper mods on siennas. My guess would be that it would have to be completely custom
Your sequoia looks awesome bro, I just subscribed.
Thanks Frank! I should be posting another video soon. Going to finish the front end completely with winch and lights
@@ChasingYourAdventure oh nice looking forward to seeing how the winch comes out 🤙
looks awesome!!
Are those OSHA approved work Crocs?
the bumper comes in pieces? I thought is should come on one whole thing ready to bolt...

About how long was it to weld from start to finish? Not including paint. Just ordered mine and am curious
Probably about 12-14hrs total. Priming, sanding, painting, painting again probably took most of the time to be honest
@@ChasingYourAdventure yeah painting is always the longest lol how long would you say all the welding took?
@@xSUPERxDANKxGDP probably 6 -7 hours welding and fitting first and then 8 sanding and painting
You should consider selling those to the aftermarket .

I wish a link to the bumper was included in the description .. looks nice
Google search is pretty quick too! Coastal off-road Toyota Tundra bumper

I thought coastal made bumper for that year Sequoia? Why not get the correct bumper.

cut the plastic, not the metal
I did cut any metal other than the bumper where it needed it

I feel sorry for the welder guy lung and eyes. He will pay a huge price in his later age for not wearing his PPE properly.
