@@leosonbentley2770 with all due respect remember disabilities come in different forms. Fear of dogs is also a disability. So now you are discriminating against the driver. So please avoid unnecessary drama by stating that you have a special need before the driver arrives.
However I say the driver must be penalized for starting the trip before the rider even enters the car.
@@leosonbentley2770You clearly don't understand the relationship between Uber and people who drive on the Uber platform. So let me educate you. Drivers are not employees of Uber. They are third party INDEPENDENT contractors. Emphasis on independent! A driver has the right to refuse to transport anyone he wants to just as any other business owner has a right to decide who they do business with. When you enter any business establishment there is a sign saying "Right of admission reserved". That applies to Uber driver's vehicles as well. Stop thinking that you are entitled to anything just because you requested a ride.
Uber must show up front the pickup point and the destination
That driver isn’t obligated to take ANYONE 🙄 where his family at or friends ?? Leave this driver the hell alone 😒😒 I tell you soon as a animal involved they won’t stop
Until they see you dead 🤣🤣
N0 DOGS IN PUBLIC TRANSPORT I WILL NEVER BE A FRIEND WITH A DOG EVEN HOW MUCH THEY WILLING TO PAY
😢 Yho this is sad!
This driver should be debarred.
Let the Driver Know Ahead of Time
If you plan to take a ride with your dog, it’s good practice to send a pickup note to your driver to let them know you’ll be travelling with an animal. And be specific: it’s not enough to say, “I’m travelling with Spot.” After all, humans can have strange names, too.
Be sure to let them know the size and breed of the animal you’re travelling with. Our Uber service animal policy states that service animals are always allowed to travel with their companions. However, bringing a pet or an emotional support animal in an Uber ride is up to the discretion of individual drivers
No he cannot be debarred. He is allowed to refuse. It is his car not Uber's. That is what you people fail to understand. Drivers are not employees of Uber. They are third party independent contractors. Right of admission is reserved and it is at the drivers discretion not anyone else's. If Uber takes any action against the driver they will lose in court. If they deactivate his account they will have to pay him for lost earnings as well as damages for wrongful deactivation.
If you have a dog just tell the driver before he comes, Black people are still traumatized from the apartheid police dogs back in the days. I never owned a dog and I am not planning to own one we are a traumatized nation.
