I always picture Jay sitting on the sideline with a heater hanging from his bottom lip close to the corner with "RBF" (for lack of a better term right now) watching the game by himself. None of what I just said is a negative thing It's just focus and the way he operates but that's just how I envision him whenever somebody mentions him.

Bullshit all around. Jay’s teammates played for him because that was their jobs. They spent more time answering questions about jays leadership or lack there of because he refused to put himself in a position where he would be held ultimately responsible for.
Jay was as physically gifted of a passer that we have ever seen but he was the same player he was in the beginning of his time in the league as he was in the last. Flashes of brilliance clouded by inconsistency and bizarre decision making

Go look at the stats of a 2010 game against the Panthers that Cutler didn't play in cause he was hurt, i think the bears back up was Todd Collins and he was like 6 for 20, like 40 yds and 4 INTS, Bears still won cause defense was so good and Matt Forte had like 180 yds, but that passing offense was nothing without Cutler running it.

Revisionist history. He was a decent player but his teammates were meh with him and he came short on expectations more often than not

His teammates did not love him they wanted to win, he sabotaged that teams potential with his ego & nonchalant attitude.

Jay is becoming one of those cult figures after he retired. He really gets disrespected though. Brandon Marshall called him garbage and the dude gave him five 100 catch, 1,000 yard seasons. Of all people who should have had your back, Marshall shoulda had his.

Marshall is also mentally unstable. 🤷‍♂️

lmao acting like Wide Receivers don't do work. He didn't give him anything. They had to work on it.

He don’t have to throw him the ball just like O lineman don’t block for qbs they don’t like.

@@mkhanman12345 Cutler definitely helped Marshall get those numbers. That’s not taking anything away from Brandon Marshall, he was an amazing receiver. But if you have 100 catches that means the quarterback is getting you the ball consistently and that means that Jay Cutler helped
