    I wonder why all the videos I watch never mention crushed lava rock for filter media. Always these bio balls, bio tubes etc. crushed lava rock is pennys on the dollar and has equal or more surface area, and has zero impact on water parameters.

    Hi, great video Logan. I have a question about cycled media. I’m planning my first non-nano tank which I hope to be up & running by Christmas. I’ve put some new bio media in bags and placed them in current cycled tanks. Is that enough time for them to be seeded with BB?❤️🇦🇺

      @BucePlant  Рік тому

      Hey there! Allow the new media about 2-4 weeks to become seeded with beneficial bacteria 👍

    can you use the hob with co2 tanks? they make the most surface agitation.

    Aio vs canister filter? 90LA vs 90l with delta?

    • @BucePlant
      @BucePlant  9 місяців тому

      Depends on preference! The Delta 90 canister filter will arguably have more power than the 90LA AIO filter, but the 90LA built-in filter makes things extra convenient and easier to clean.

    Surely using carbon in a filter is a no go especially if you are dosing ferts etc ?! Carbon will suck all whatever you add into the tank..
