Lavender, not purple, I knew I went wrong somewhere :-) The set is great, especially the Statue and the figures. I just wish that they had done the symbol of the Deadly Hallows as a print, I am sure it could be useful for more sets.
This is unironically the single best $20 set for minifigures in years, if not ever. 5 unique figures (the Grim Reaper is a full figure!) plus the Baby Voldy, and they're all super useful - an iconic look for Harry, the best minifigure Voldemort yet, an excellent generic Death Eater than can be armybuilt, the perfect Wormtail... it's a must own for any Potter fan, and honestly worth a buy for almost anybody who likes licensed minifigures.
Lurtz Of Orthanc personally I really like the imperial drop ship 20th anniversary set batter just because that sweet sweet shadow trooper and all the other storm troopers

Only thing they could have done differently is instead of random death eater, they could have given us Cedric Diggory. But other than that, this is very good set.
1) The maze version of Cedric was already included in the CMF series. 2) LEGO probably didn’t want to include him because he gets murdered in this scene (though they did include the potion ingredients, so this argument is lessened).
Not a Harry Potter fan at all so i don't understand any of these references but that Voldamort torso print looks like it has great coverage for the white which makes me super excited!
I think that for Harry they should've used tall legs and small ones for Wormtail. Harry is quite "adult size" in the fourth movie and Wormtail is a quite small character.
If they gave the Death Eater an alternate face, they'd probably have printed it too thin like they've been doing recently with black heads, so I'm fine with just one face.
Hi Jang. I love your yt channel. One thing I'd really like to see in your videos is a mention about the size of the set in relation to LEGO Baseplates. I use to build dioramas using LEGO Baseplates, and to get to know how many baseplates would be needed to fit the set would be very usefull to me.
Yeah, they made it look like Voldemort literally rises from his grave. Sure, that's a wonderfully creepy image, but that's not what actually happens in the story.
As someone who has no plans to start collecting Harry Potter sets again, this looks like a good parts pack as well. I just don't know what I would do with the minifigures, or if they'll sell easily.
I suspect the actual sweater prop is closer to red in colour and that it is basically the dark lighting in the film that makes it appear as burgundy. But I would have been happy regardless of what red they went with.
The CMF one is a traditional basic, round, trophy in gray with a little printing on it. The real thing is faceted, crystal and glowing, in a pewter cage.
This set is pretty much perfect. The only thing I don't like is Wormtail's haircolor, the piece itself is fine but the color just makes him look like yet another Weasley
Great set, love that they broke the lego nose rule for Voldemort's nostrils. I do not like the design of the Triwizard cup build though. I didn't figure out what it was until you explained. Great review!

They should've given Harry and the other students proper sized legs with sets from this film to be honest given that they are around 15/16 minimum here
This graveyard is in little hangleton, but the gravestone with deathly hallows mark is supposed to be located in Godric's hollow. I think dark purple is the least common wand colour

Minor nitpick but Peter/Wormtail looks....too young, maybe a couple thin lines on his face to make him look older. And maybe smaller legs? He always seemed shorter in the films, though I might be wrong

They didn't include spare hands because detaching minifigure hands is considered illegal by Lego rules.
I wonder if Harry's legs are still short for the 7th movie sets since Daniel Radcliff is so short in real life
