    I was so worried that I wouldn’t be able to do this, but your tutorial is AMAZING. Thank you! Hopefully I can find the time to do this before my son is born! This is the theme of his nursery 💙

    Brilliant video. Thank you for speeding up through the basic bits. I hate watching someone doing dozens of the same stitch. I am not sure why people are complaining about the sound. It’s really clear as far as I am concerned.

    OMGosh, you must have the patience of a Saint. I was so frustrated just watching you mess and fiddle with all these yarns at once and dropping this one and picking up that one and trying to work strands to hide them and on and on. I'm sure there is probably a rhythm, but I couldn't figure it out. I bow down to you and your craft and to all others that are attempting to work this stitch and will quietly move on to something much easier and mindless.

    Glad I watched this as an intermediate level crocheter and not as a beginner! I think I can do it, but will still rely on your written pattern. Much too fast on the normal speed parts, bad lighting for viewing your yarns and stitches, and not very clear on the chain and stitch #s as you went along; however, I was able to get the general principle of how this technique is done. Thanks!

    First of all, I love all your plaid patterns. I was wondering if you had any plans to do a video for the plaid triangle scarf? I want to make it so bad but I have started it twice and get frustrated and unsure how to carry the yarn and end up putting it aside. So I am saying pretty please. 😀

    • @stephaniebedell3626

  • @katygooden4909

    I have a question. I get the keeping the yarns from tangling, and the working in the colors you're not working with, and the multiples of 3 plus 2 for turning, but what do you do with the ends of the mid and light red? You're working them in but not slip knotting them or slip stitching them in. What happens to the tails at the end so they don't eventually come unraveled?

    • @whistleandivycrochet
      @whistleandivycrochet  4 роки тому

      You will just drop it (leave it connected to the skein) and pick it back up when you need it again for the next red/mid row. Does that make sense? You won't have a cut end until the hat is finished, then you will tie off all the ends.

    • @katygooden4909
      @katygooden4909 4 роки тому

      @@whistleandivycrochet but the mid when you first start using it. You put it around your hook and add it in to last st of 3rd DC. What happens to that little end that you started with of the mid? Sorry I hope this isn't a silly question

      First, please slow down. You are teaching people watching from a distance.
      Second, use a yarn color that allows the viewer to see the stitches. Your colors are beautiful but being black, you cannot see the stitches at all.
      Third, out of respect for your time and work, please give complete directions. "Chain 18+2. Begin dc".........in 3rd chain from hook. Many of us are relative newbies.
