Ultimately I believe it was driven by emissions regulations and their in ability to properly invest and come out with a compliant machine that was as solid as they had previously built
Hello sir great video 👍🏼 but I was wondering if you could possibly help me out with a Tanaka trimmer I got it has a very similar head but it is fatter and doesn’t have the white piece and I can not for the life of me figure out how to string it. And it doesn’t have the side tabs. The cap just pulls off. It maybe similar to the one harry erhart is talking about. Thanks guys!
Oh my goodness I started with a Tanaka brain head 35 years ago do they still make them Josh great trimmer head the one you have is a little different than the one's we used take care my friend 😁
I don’t believe they make them anymore. Tanaka is pretty much dead (Hitachi bought them) The head you had was the pills Brain TH95, harder to take apart but held more line.
@@Carlsmower yes the only problem with that head was if you didn't click the cover on all the way it blew apart and good luck looking for those 3 balls😜😜
Didn’t see this comment but I’m going to do some googling on pills brain TH95 hope it’s the one I have so I can figure out how to string the trimmer. Thanks!
@@nickriegel5228 It is a very very similar rewind process between the old brain and new brain the old brain has a slightly larger capacity and it’s a little bit harder to get the cap off a lot of times you need to use a flat head screwdriver to pop it off
so almost wonderful beautiful video friend
What a beautiful backdrop for the video. Great flower bed.
My wife’s work.
Unrelated to the video, Wht is the difference between the fs311 and the fs131 (bike handle) as well as the 310/130
HI Josh - I need a replacement brain head for a Tanaka TBC-2211. Do you know if a company makes a comparable part?
Poor tanaka, befell the the same fate at the hands of Hitachi as dolmar did from makita. 😔

The Stihl heads load easy. I just love the auto feed. No tappy tappy
