Brother thanks you so much for the help on 2:01 I'm age 24, don't know nothing about grass cutting, only starting and running the thing. After moving the wire back up and cleaning the sponge ring filter, it worked PERFECTLY. THANK YOU SO MUCH 🎉
Great video!!! I have a few things to check on in the morning...I have had some of these problems in the past and by just turning my handle a little to take the bind off of the cable corrected the errant spinning head. But I didn't know why. I thought it was a short or something. I bet I will have it fixed in no time when the sun comes up. I subscribed to your channel also and thanks again for the help
Guess what -- there was another issue. Not bad gas, not stuck cable, not air or gas filter, not bad idle -- but to your credit, I opened things up and saw that a screw that holds the cardboard carburetor gasket had come loose from vibration. Possibly due to low torque or years of use. Troybilt 4 stroke from 1991. Still goes and smooth. Thnx. LOL
Great video. I am a newbie, I have a Spectrum brand brushcutter, its not a well known brand, likely Chinese. Are all clutches the same or would I need to get one specific to my brand of Brushcutter?
What would cause it to keep spinning even after a clutch replacement? I did a complete tune up at the same time and pretty much replacement everything besides the engine. Its running a thousand times better and starts on the first pull again but the head just keeps on spinning. The idle bolt and cables seem to be fine as well.
Check your throttle cable where it connects to the carburetor. Make sure it didn't come out of the groove and the carburetor is not stuck on Full throttle. This happens a lot
My 4 week old Husqvarna 129C line trimmer made a noise like the air filter got sucked through a small hole (nothing wrong with air filter though), then the idle dropped super low and the trimmer head started freely spinning really fast while just left to sit on the low idle. When I stopped the spinning by hand the trimmer kept shutting off within a second. Do you know what this could be? In all honesty this trimmer is very low quality. I expected better from Husqvarna. Temperamental to start since the 2nd use. I mow & do yard cleans semi commercially (5 jobs a week) and know how to start 2-stroke machines no probs, but the 129C is a rubbish item in my opinion. First & last Husqvarna line trimmer I buy I think. Ive had a Husqvarna blower vac for 2yrs that is an absolute pleasure to use so thought I’d expand on my Husqvarna equipment range. I do prefer Stihl though.
Thank you. You made me feel comfortable in changing my broken clutch on my weedwacker. 👍
You have more tricks than Batman in his belt. I appreciate all of them. Thankyou. Subcribed.

What causes the body where the business end is located to rotate around the shaft?
I tried tightening the mounting screws but it doesn't seem to work

Definitely will need to get the clutch pertaining to your model.

Thanks 🙏 very well explained
Sir after putting new clutch and on minimum idle the cord still keeps on spinning why?

Congratulations
my husquarvarna doesn't stop spinning until I turn the choke off. Spins on full choke and half choke.
Most of the time when it does that it's a bad clutch.
THANK YOU
