I love watching your videos. I just found you when your Cedar Point vlog showed up in the videos. I love Cedar Point, it is such an amazing, fun park. My favorite! It’s so special to me. I can’t wait to go on Steel Vengeance. It sounds so amazing! I love your enthusiasm and personality.
I love seeing your reactions Shaun. Everybody has passions in life and nothing makes me happier then seeing people enjoy their passions like the way you do
I was pretty much the same after my pitch black night ride on Steel Vengeance in row 14 last summer. It took me like ten minutes to get back to normal after that extremely wild back seat ride. It felt like it wasn't going 74mph, but like 76mph. The trims on the MCBR were off and the train flew threw on that last night ride. It was so disorienting and insane, especially the second half of the ride. God Almighty, my ass was all over the place in the back row during the ride. I absolutely LOVED IT!
26:07 That's what's fascinating about these Arrow suspended coasters. Most were designed with the landscapes of their parks in mind. Something I wish we'd see more of with modern coasters. Vampire may be rough, but the scenery is what keeps me coming back.
You're doing that place proud mate. One of the best vlogs I've seen. Steel Vengeance is THE coaster that is pulling me towards Cedar Point for the first time. I'm in the UK too but this vlog and your reaction to the night ride has pretty much sealed it for me mate. Thanks for an amazing 2nd vlog.
Great video. I live about 3 hours from Cedar point in Ohio. Your excitement in this video brings back memories of going when I was a kid. I remember riding the Raptor in the dark when it was new and it being the best thing ever. Gatekeeper was my last new one so whenever I make it back I've got 2 new ones to look forward to
Your reaction is so adorable! I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself! Sometimes we Americans take our parks for granted, so it's been really fun watch someone experience it with fresh eyes. Thanks for posting!
I know this video is nearly 3 years old at this point, but it makes me so happy that you had such a good time at the point and that the weather and crowds and everything worked out so well! You definitely deserve it!
Wow! Cedar Point really makes it at night! Phenomenal view of Steel Vengeance and Millennium Force in the dark, but Top Thrill Dragster's lights is just pure perfection! What a vlog this one was! 😄
Another great Vlog Shawn....you are covering this park so well and for sure enjoying it!! I really have to give you credit for being so appreciative of everything and the total experience.... that is something that is getting lost in todays world. I will be looking forward to your future posts for this awesome park. Good on ya for remembering Ms. Charlotte with the footage of the animals.. it is again, another credit to your character and that you are a very for-real, genuine person as well, that so enjoys theme parks and wants to let us experience them through the lens of your cam. So happy to see you have some great emotional experiences as well... we should ALL love what we do and experience in our lives...thanks for keeping it real my friend!! Cheers, JG in ChiTown
What a truly amazing park. I think you should follow in the footsteps of that guy who was visiting all the greats like King's Island, and try and do a bunch of US parks next year!!
The train ride at night is really beautiful, Shawn, especially traveling through Boneville. And Skyride (what you call the cable cars ride) is beautiful at night because you can see all the lights along the midway and around the rides. Very excellent vlog, I'm so happy you like my home park.
Seeing your blog from Cedar Point puts a smile on my face because like you, me and my cousin took our first ever visit to Cedar Point in July 2018 and we live five hours away near Chicago, IL. We spent four days in Sandusky, Ohio on an off site hotel not too far from the park. I've wanted to visit Cedar Point for so long, and last summer I got to do it with my cousin. We got two full days in Cedar Point with Fast Lane Plus for both days, meal plans for both days, a souvenir drink cup and so much more! The coasters were the best part of Cedar Point, especially Steel Vengeance (OMG!!!!!), I can't express how much I love Steel Vengeance AND Cedar Point. The park is absolutely beautiful, we hit more than the coasters, like WindSeeker, Snake River Falls, Thunder Canyon, the train, etc. I loved Maverick, TTD, Millennium Force, GateKeeper, Raptor, Valravn as well. But Steel Vengeance at night in the back row is absolutely fucking insane!!!!!!! It's my NUMBER 1 favorite coaster, period and Cedar Point is my number one favorite park, hands down. The staff over there are really friendly and so many of them are from so many different countries, we met many staff members there and even made some new friends. We even got to ride Steel Vengeance at night with two staff members, one girl named Asya (who we met at Top Thrill Dragster on the day before - our first day), she and her friend rode Steel Vengeance with us, and the guy who was working as a ride op on Millennium Force that day, we asked him, what you think of SV (since he hadn't been on it yet), he says, "Fuck Millennium!!!!!" LOL.... I agree with him on that. On our first day, our last night ride was Top Thrill Dragster in the front row, but on our second day at night it was Steel Vengeance in the back row. Holy shit, it felt much faster at night, and more relentless too. I remember feeling so disorientated in the back row, especially right before the third inversion in the ride structure where you don't know which way is up or down or left or right. It was all such a blur and I LOVED it!!!!!! I spent $300 on souvenirs at Cedar Point over the course of both days. T-shirts, I got like 4. A mug, a hat, pins, a large wall map of the park, on ride photo from Steel Vengeance, a Valravn magnet for my refrigerator. Seriously, I've never been to an amusement park that is so GREAT!!!!! Everything about it is just over the top! It is well worth the cost of just getting there to experience it all! Even the little farm/zoo they have there was great. I REALLY want to go back, and I'm only 5 hours away. Truth be told, I probably won't be back at Cedar Point for at least a few years, I got a Walt Disney World trip planned for next year. But once that is out of the way, it's full steam ahead for Cedar Point and King's Island. As for the coasters, I've got a list of my top favorites at the park here...except Iron Dragon, didn't get a chance to ride it. 1. Steel Vengeance 2. Maverick 3. Millennium Force 4. Top Thrill Dragster 5. GateKeeper 6. Raptor 7. Valravn 8. Rougarou 9. Wicked Twister 10. Gemini 11. Blue Streak 12. Cedar Creek Mine Ride 13. Corkscrew 14. Magnum XL-200 Cedar Point beats anything and everything my home park (Six Flags Great America) has to offer. I just wish that Cedar Point was my home park and not Six Flags Great America. I prefer Cedar Point now!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide You're welcome. I can't wait to get back to Cedar Point, even if it's going to be like four of five years, it will be so worth it!
Rode Steel Vengeance in May for my first time. It really is a masterpiece of a roller coaster. I geeked out to the sneak peek pics online all year. I live in Ohio and haven't been to Cedar Point in a few years.. I rode Gatekeeper and Maverick also for my first time.. GF's first time at an amusement park ever..what a better place than CP? We stayed for two days. Glad you had fun.. been watching your three days there. We're lucky to have this park and this amazing RMC. Everyone needs to experience Steel Vengeance and the rest of CP's world class rides.
The Gemini is so fun! Glad you liked it. I think people underestimate it when they look at it but it's got some great air time and the views are wonderful when you feel like your hands could get chopped off by the wood if you ride with your arms up.
So glad you made it to CP! It is a special place. I love your passion for coasters and parks. Be sure to walk along the boardwalk and beach it is a nice relaxing area.
Them Park Worldwide - Glad you got to finally visit Cedar Point! I haven't been on Steel Vengeance yet since I live far away in Houston. I will be there next week though ! I'm looking forward to a night ride on it.
Another park to add to my growing bucket list of parks! Ticking one off this year though in a couple of months with Phantasialand on the horizon! Just hoping I can get away with riding the bigger coasters with my glasses strap! Love the fact that yours is the same colour as your top too!
Fantastic vlog Shawn, really brilliant footage of the rides and the park as a whole. Expected it to be great and I was not disappointed. Thanks for sharing mate.
I'm totally with you about being a theme park enthusiast. I'm getting on a bit now at 38 and I can't just ride coasters all day... I definitely appreciate a water ride, train, show and just people watching you get at theme parks!!! Lol it's what makes a great park for me, it's not just about coasters!!
Been to Flamingoland today with my 3 boys :-) fab day and we talked about How cool it would be to go to Cedar Point .... then this Vlog of yours popped up...great video Sean :-)
Well then! What an absolutely brilliant couple of vlogs. So made up for you. I had the biggest smile on my face nevermind yours with your reaction to Steel Vengance in the dark! Enjoyed every minute of this , wow what a place this is. Cheers!!
Just started following your channel. I live here in Sandusky. I can hear the Cedar Point train from my backyard. I'm 5 mins away from the park. The only thing that sucks is I'm not a roller coaster person. I'd love to finally work up the courage to ride but I dont know. If you ever make it over here again you gotta drag me on. My wife would be very thankful if you did. Ha ha. Great video.
I I was there the day before opening day and opening day and Memorial day week end. Wish I had known you would be there, would have loved meeting you. My second home for over 50 years now. I'm 70 and still ride all the rides.
I hope you manage to get a night ride on dragster. My first ride on it was a night ride, front row about 11 years ago. I actually didn’t plan to ride it (ever, for that matter it was one of those rides I said I’d never touch with a ten foot pole), I was in the line just to stay with my friends and was going to walk through at the station and wait for them. When our turn came, I sat down and strapped in. I still don’t know what made me do it, sheer impulse maybe, because I really was not thinking about it at all it just sort of happened before I could hesitate, but I’m so glad I did.
I am very glad you had the chance to visit Cedar Point this year. I have been going to CP for more than 30 years; it is such a "magical" place. The atmosphere is great, the rides are thrilling, and I really hate when I miss going. Your video production was awesome and I really enjoyed watching it and hearing your commentary.
Rewatching the 3 days of Cedar Point to prepare to see the US Road trip 2019 videos in the next few days. Of all your vlogs, while it was the Disney ones and the Alton Towers ones which drew me to the channel, these 3 vlogs, just so full of joyful experience, are ones I've come back to time and again. Seeing your first reaction to Dragster was brilliant, but the first reaction as you come off Steel Vengeance is just my favourite. You can tell from the first moments that this is your new best coaster in the world. Your eyes lit up with joy it was amazing. Excited to see more from this park (and all the others) when the new vlogs start dropping :)
The thing about cedar point is that video and picture cannot even come close to capture the size of the rides or how cool it is but it does capture how the GP dance behind your camera
Great to watch you Shawn you cover the whole theme park history, shows, kids rides, food, merchandise, good and not so good. As well as the big coasters (as I cant do heights) always Informative and entertaining.
Love how you made a friend who is going around with you why I love the channel so friendly, would be a dream to go around a park with you Shaun and Alex, love the channel guys
I only live a couple hours away, so I get to go about once or twice each summer. Steel Vengeance and Millennium are my favorites :) Theres something for everyone at this park which is why I love it so much. Truly is a place like no other. It makes me happy when people enjoy CP. Glad you had a good time! :)
I live 5 minutes from the park. Heck, I even met you at Steel Vengeance one night. I will say that I have taken for granted how awesome it is to have this in my backyard. Your trip report really has made me realize how great I have it. I never really paid attention to the smaller things like landscaping, because I had just become accustomed to it. It was almost like you were taking me around the park for the first time, when you were highlighting certain things. Which was strange because I had been there 50 times last year. LOL! Great work on the vlogs.
I was just doing your USA tour again and realized, I don't think I watched your 1st visit to Cedar Point. I agree , it's a beautiful place, very special , I live in Ohio so im native to Cedar Point and Kings Island . I've been there once and I only rode Raptor. That was enough for me! I believed my then husband when he said there was nothing to fear but fear itself. Boy , he was a big fat liar. Maybe Raptor is why he's my ex??? 🤔🤷♀️ Anyway lol , your reviews of coasters are the absolute best! I won't get on them , but I love to watch other people enjoy them and you enjoy the whole package. Great video!
Honestly Shaun you're such an amazing guy! Such passion, energy, enthusiasm, I'll never get tired of watching your vlogs from start to finish. I'm going to Park Portaventura in September and can't wait to ride one of your favourites Shambala. Cedar Point is definitely on my bucket list after this video mind! Keep up the great work, and remember your suntan cream haha!
I need to get back to cedar point!!!! This ride looks insane. I think it could be the only ride to oust my top 3.... outlaw run, the voyage and El Toro
After the opening to your 2nd vlog - I must get back to Cedar Point for Steel Vengeance! When we were there last year (all the way from Northern Ireland) the top of the climb hill was missing and under construction. We've followed the build progress - looks fantastic.
we spent a week there and it is a fabulous park......stay at their "Breakers Express" hotel just outside the park and you get in early and get free parking at the park....
I walked by you shortly after you entered the park that day. My family and I were there for that CoasterMania event. I kept searching UA-cam for those videos and I’m glad I found your channel. We had on the GateKeeper fleeces around 60sec of this video. I felt the same way about Steel Vengeance in which you described. It’s one of the best coasters I’ve ever experienced. I hope you enjoyed Cedar Point! America’s Rock n Roller Coast!! Safe Travels back to the UK my friend!!
When i visited Cedar Point 2 years ago, all the way from The Netherlands i felt the same as you. Just thunderstruck by all the amazing rides and atmosphere. Yea, rides break down alot but always something to do, something to see. When you said you were going here i knew 100% you were gonna love it! Problem is.... Now i want to go back :(!
If somebody wants to ride a ride like Steel Vengeance but doesn't want to travel to the states, there will also be an RMC opening at Energylandia in 2020 which will be just 2 meters lower than Steel Vengeance! But still, Vengeance just looks amazing! (too insane for my stomach though)
I've watched this video way too many times over the last couple years lol. You do such an amazing job capturing the experience. It's a shame you couldn't come back to the states this year and revisit CP. I had the pleasure of going yesterday and SV is running better than ever and the park is doing a great job with keeping everyone safe. Hope to see you back again next year:)
I saw you on the midways twice. Once along Magnum and the second time by Millenium Force. Coastermania was once again awesome and hopefully someday you can experience that event. The picnic lunch was very good and the Coastermania Cruise around the peninsula was absolutely terrific. I hope you get videos of the Boardwalk and the hotels up close. Thanks for sharing your videos.
18:10 You actually did a HUSS giant frisbee of that size before the Cedar Point trip, the sledgehammer in Bobbejaanland in Belgium is about the same height. Love your videos btw
Shawn, sunscreen! You are already looking a bit crispy x thanks for all these vlogs, I watch everyday and seeing how happy and emotional you are about coasters is a breath of fresh air these days.
I was there on this past Sunday, June 3rd. Cedar Point is my home park and I have been dreaming for an RMC Mean Streak since New Texas Giant... Steel Vengeance is my absolute favorite coaster.
If you love millennium force in the summer, you should come back and try it in the fall! I think it is 12 times better then compared to the summer due to the lake effect!
Hi Shawn just watched ur blog at cedar point great viewing god ur brave I can't stand roller coasters I get sick on them luv watching u u do a great job Shawn keep up the good work ur great say hello to Charlotte sh is beautiful x
You deserve every minute of happiness, people underestimate how hard it actually is to do what you do and do it so well. Respect!
Thank you very much for the kind words
Absolutely agree! Shawn, when you were getting all emotional over Steel Vengeance I just thought 'you deserve to be there'.
4:09 Lmao
I told you the pointing thing gets awkward sometimes.
I was thinking the same thing😂
Ooops! I was deep into my review at that point!
LMAOOOO
Imagine how sad you have to be to dislike a quality video from a quality, funny, and one of the nicest creators I have ever seen
Thank you!

Omg ! I actually felt I was with you there.. that was the best vlog you have ever uploaded!
Amazing and emotional shaun , so good :)
Thank you very much!
Cedar Point should sponsor your trip, such a great endorsement and promo for the park!
Your passion and enthusiasm is amazing, always makes me smile.
Thank you, it really was wonderful!
Your joy after the night ride on steel vengeance is really incredible to watch! 😁
Your reaction at the end to riding Steel Vengeance in the dark was absolutely priceless. 😂😂
I was very emotional over this world class coaster
I was pretty much the same after my pitch black night ride on Steel Vengeance in row 14 last summer.

And gutted that I never got to ride Big Bad Wolf, the drop after the second lifthill is one of the most iconic shots of a roller coaster ever.
I have never anticipated any vlogs as much as these . Seeing you there finally makes me so happy . I hope you are having a wonderful time man.
Steel Vengeance was my third roller coaster, I just rode it about a week ago. I am so glad my dad made me go on it.

These videos are so wholesome
I got into this channel because of he first planet coaster series. But then I fell in love with the vlogs and the show
Thank you!

If you want crazy airtime on Magnum, ride it in Car 1 Row 3! The airtime there is absolutely nuts!
It can't be as good as Oscars Wacky Taxi! JK lol but I'm so excited for Cedar Point in July when I go!
I sure did, loved it
Theme Park Worldwide awesome!
The Ejector Seat
ElToroRyan when I went on magnum for the first time a couple of years ago it had no line and I went front row. I’m gonna do that seat next year

It was amazing to finally visit this park after wanting to visit for so many years!
This really is my favorite ride, Cedar Point has always been my favorite park! I didn’t go on it until I went on Millennium Force. AMAZING
Good for you Shawn. I'm watching this in the Pyrenees. Been riding motorbikes at 150mph but never forget the joy I had going to Cedar Point
It was a pleasure giving you a ride back to your hotel the other night. I’m glad you had an amazing time!
It was great to meet you!
This is my favorite Theme Park Worldwide video. Hope to see you return soon.
I'm glad you loved my homepark. I'm so happy to have Cedar Point 2 hours from me with my favorite coaster, Steel Vengeance, being that close to me.
The thing about cedar point is that video and picture cannot even come close to capture the size of the rides or how cool it is but it does capture how the GP dance behind your camera
I love these videos. I live 1 hour from Cedar Point and I love watching these vlogs and it makes me want to go back. Amazing Video!!!
Thank you!
Great to watch you Shawn you cover the whole theme park history, shows, kids rides, food, merchandise, good and not so good. As well as the big coasters (as I cant do heights) always Informative and entertaining.
Thank you, I’ll always share the full experience!
Love how you made a friend who is going around with you why I love the channel so friendly, would be a dream to go around a park with you Shaun and Alex, love the channel guys
It was great! Thanks for watching
Thanks for watching, it was great to meet you!
Good luck to you Shawn, had me nearly filling up with your emotion :)
Love to see your reaction.
Above all: I believe every single word you say 😁 Thanks for your wonderful vlogs.
Anyway lol , your reviews of coasters are the absolute best!
Thank you very much for the kind words, have a great trip
Was anyone else getting anxious over how much his cable car was tilting 😂😂 great video
Get me on a plane NOW ✈️🎢
I need to get back to cedar point!!!!
I will make it my life mission to get on Steel Vengeance. No joke. One day it WILL happen (and im from the uk)
Same
we spent a week there and it is a fabulous park......stay at their "Breakers Express" hotel just outside the park and you get in early and get free parking at the park....
I live in Sandusky and I go 3 times a month
The dad dancing at 14:39 got me! haha.
Definitely one of the best (possibly THE BEST) Vlogs I've seen on CP
Thank you!
That's great to hear, I hope you enjoyed coastermania!
i so badly cant wait till i get a chance to visit cedar point, it looks AMAZING! definately couldnt fit it in one day either
I’m so glad you finally got to ride steel vengeance. Seems like such a cool coaster!
Gaaf! Wat betaal je voor je vliegreis naar Cedar Point
Pyro Wausje Alleen cedar point?, volgens mij zit je voor 700 euro p.p. wel heen en weer naar Cleveland, dat is het meest dichtstbijzijnde vliegveld!
@@Pyroblom okee top man dankje!
Thank you!
From someone who's followed you a long time! I actually got emotional for you too!
Shawn, your cinematic offride shorts are gorgeous!
Thank you! Stay tuned for much more off ride footage soon
I would love to do it next year!
18:10 You actually did a HUSS giant frisbee of that size before the Cedar Point trip, the sledgehammer in Bobbejaanland in Belgium is about the same height. Love your videos btw
I have indeed!
Shawn, sunscreen! You are already looking a bit crispy x thanks for all these vlogs, I watch everyday and seeing how happy and emotional you are about coasters is a breath of fresh air these days.
Thank you for watching!
I go to Cedar Point every year. You are so right!!!! Cedar point is awesome!!!!
I was there on this past Sunday, June 3rd. Cedar Point is my home park and I have been dreaming for an RMC Mean Streak since New Texas Giant... Steel Vengeance is my absolute favorite coaster.
Do they do a transfer from the airport to Cedar point or do you need a car ?
If you love millennium force in the summer, you should come back and try it in the fall! I think it is 12 times better then compared to the summer due to the lake effect!
Excellent. Love your enthusiasm and knowledge 👍
I enjoy your vlogs. The wilderness run was originally Jr. Gemini Que line was different.
Amazing vlogs I've decided I'm going to Cedar point next year I'm portaventura in September which I can't wait for 🙂
