Loved the experience of diving into "The Great Ocean". Becoming disembodied, forming himself into a hivemind, developing into a warp-based AI... Damn...
Yes, i was just as amazed. This concept of a warp based A.I was a thing that i never imaginede and is juts awesome. Its literaly a machine spirit but not at the same time
@@Zero-tk1hb its the biggest Fu imaginable to the mechancium as well because effectivly this servitor this butcherd servant achived DIVINITY before they did achived becoming everything that a "abominable inteligence" is while still having a human mind and soul.
The idea started with my interpretation of machine spirit. Many are the machines in 40k that are said to posses machine spirits, some think they are AIs , others said they are warp based creations , I just took the idea that the souls of the poor workers that died on the production line got their souls infused within the machine. Did you think just because you died you would get a day off? Your soul is going into the Las gun.
Can you imagine if this guy survived? I don't know how but it would he awesome to see a human hive mind fighting the tyranids in pure hatred because they destroyed his home.
considering he is effectivly a AI he could easily survive in deep space travling bewteen the stars all he needs is one single ship to make it the slow way with the tryanids blocking warp travekl but what is a thousand years to such a being?
Imagine the destruction the Nids would have caused had this servitor not bolstered the defenses and Imperium presence in this sector. Behemoth would have torn through half the sector before the Imperium even noticed something was wrong.
YES wanted someone to react to this so much cause it adds so much more depth to servitors by showing pyschics who were servitorized may still survive may even turn into something bordering AI threw the imperiums own cruel bio systems and the fact its not evil and sets out to help the world in its own way even after there fellow humans butcherd it is so cool. also its the ultimate middle finger to the mechanicus as effectivly it means servitors are just as much at risk of rebellion as pure AI meaning the entire process of servitors was unessarcy to begin with.
Thank you for the reaction, Vox realy gave life to the story I written, in honestly, I wrote it with vox voice in mind , and he really put an A+ narration, I open a smile soo big when you said Tyran in the middle of the story that it could be seen on the other side of the galaxy. It took months to make it the way i like to write , with that single line in the end that hits you like a punch in the guts heheheh. And yes, i am working in a continuation of this story.
its like suddenly discovering a whole new Cal or Gulliman Or gaunt a truly epic legend that defined the imperium except we just never ever heard of them as they were in the shadows may TYRAN the Collective conconsuius survive to seek vengance on the tyranids. that would be so cool armies of undead servitor ified armies and ships using the warp threw machine logic immunity to tyranid warp blocking also letting them make there biomass unusable to the tyranids threw bursts of kamikaze warp mutation.
I’m just happy he made it home before it got munched. No world lasts forever, maybe if he’s lucky his systems will fail and he can die without seeing it disappear.
You’ll recall he said there was a xenos fleet leaving a path of destruction that destroyed his first fleet. That was the nids. He said at the end there that the world was uninhabited and forgotten. So it’s after the nids…
I inferred that he returns to his home planet before the Nids. The Tyranids absorb all biomatter and water, so his ocean wouldn't even be there anymore. It adds tragedy to what would otherwise be a happy ending, knowing that the home he spent so much time trying to return to is the first planet known to be scoured clean by the bugs.
@@someoneold5426 technically, I believe you are right, but Tyran was the first planet the Imperium found that was connected to the space bugs, hence the planet's name being used to name the Tyranids.
thats a "forge of mars"-trilogy reference. at least a servitor has purpose though. more painful is the procedure of making arco-flagellants. on castellax on the other hand the iron warriors kept an alpha psyker servitor as means of communication.
actually his consciuness was spread across a whole fleet and as his new nature as a soul AI he just needed ONE ship to escape the solar system before the Hive fleet arrived. of course this means hed be stuck in sub FTL travel for like a 1000 years and knowing everything he built was eaten by the bugs so thats not great either.
I lost my sympathy when it came up that he was hidden from the black ships. You just can't do that, unsanctioned psykers are far too insanely dangerous to let run free. Best case scenario: he just explodes. Worst case: the entire planet suffers daemon incursion and the permanent disfigurement of reality
Thats very easily said when its not about your life. You also dont just fly off and become a sanctioned psyker, most of them die in the process, are consumed by the emperor or even if they make it will end up being possessed by demons anyway when they come in contact with the forces of chaos. Being a psyker in 40k sucks.

Love that he guessed it half-way through~
Me too
Based on the date he has a decade before tyrranids turn up. he arrived in 735M41 tyranids arrive 745M41.
Yes, exactly
This one hits different.
Like a punch from a Thunder Warrior. You know, head orbiting Saturn and stuff.

At east he got a decade with his home at the end. Gotta find the silver linings.
Vox is top tier

In the grim darkness there are still some hope
Oh i love this one, I've listened to it a minimum of 50 times
Oh... this one
Yes , that one
This story is so good and so in the vein of 40K that I'm saying it's officially canon right now.
You’ll recall he said there was a xenos fleet leaving a path of destruction that destroyed his first fleet. That was the nids. He said at the end there that the world was uninhabited and forgotten. So it’s after the nids…

The nids also appeared long before m41 though didn’t they?

When did Tyran get invaded? Because Tyran found it in the story in 735-M 41.
Had the same reaction to the ending lol
Is good to see that people had the exact reaction I set up them to have

DID YOU THINK THIS WILL HAVE A GOOD ENDING?!!! HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN THAT THIS IS WARHAMMER 40K?!!!! HAHAHA I FEED ON YOUR DESPAIR!!!!
Bro...Vox's channel produces phenomenal material!
Imo better than Black Library.
Huh I’ll be honest never thought one of my recs would actually pop up
Neither I thought My story would be narrated and reacted Soo quickly
So depressing

@@housewilma4904 So..... vary 40k

Can you do the Krieg box in the void video!
Well... Now I'm sad...
I cant get over how similar you sound to henry mcClellen, vegeta8259. Id you told me you were his brother, id probably believe you
Oh, i thought it said Sevatar. This is much worse that ending made it so sad
The 40k version of Night wing ?
