If Angron said "You made me" to the Emperor, it would have multiple meanings. The Emperor made him as he did the other primarchs but he also made Angron into what he was. He made Angron a coward as he became known to the people of Nuceria for his disappearance from Desh'elika Ridge. He made Angron a slave again, forcing him to fight for him in the Great Crusade. He made Angron a slavemaster like the highriders of Nuceria by having him command the War Hounds who, like most legions, revered and wished to emulate their respective primarch. The more I learn about Angron, the more I come to feel for him.
Angron is perhaps the most tragic Primarch of them all. He could have been so much more than what he ended as and basically none of that was by his fault... He was born into slavery, he continued to be a slave to his "father" and a slave he remains. The only people he cared for were butchered and he was denied death by their side.
I hate the fact I find Angron to be a fairly relatable primarch on both a literal and emotional/psychological level(I’ve been through some shit long story), it is very true that when you have went to extreme levels of abuse of all sorts you just want to hurt others in a sort of desperate gamble, you want someone to endure your anger and then still hug you and tell you that you’re not as much of a monster as you have lead to believe you are, you want people to care and relate to you, you want to desperately seek in your past through nostalgia a moment of relative happiness and then you attach yourself to it even tho you know that sort of circumstance of fleeting happiness is gone and will never come back, it’s just horrible to be tossed into a situation where everything you want is for the people who you loved and they’re no longer there. I clearly know that the butchers nails have a major effect on Angron and this is a science fiction universe however I believe the man who wrote this story has either experienced trauma or met someone who did and I mean real trauma, the type you get when you see people you care about die in front of you on the same month you’re beaten to a pulp at school and then get sexually abused…and then while you’re in a pool of your own blood the only thing you can feel is rage.
He has. Him talking about Angron's constant dissociation is a feature of the character most people with little to no traumatic experiences wouldn't think to write him with.
@@chainer8686 its not pointing blame. Its the tragedy of his song. He was supposed to be empathy incarnate and some spoiled slavers ruined that song for their own amusement on a dusty ball on the edge of a better empire.
If I may, the Emperor should have teleported down to aid his son, not his army, just him as Angron's father he should have shown Angron that he mattered to him and then had Angron's legion fight to help Angron free his world from the High Riders and SEE what their progenitor went through. I think that would have changed many things, but that is just me.
If Angron had not been done as he had been, If his legion had remained Loyal and he himself not a Rage Demon before Demonhood. His Legion would have been one of the best is my thinking. Tantamount to a Historical Comparison to the Armies of Philip the Second of Macedon under his Son Alexander, Ceasar and his 13th the Conquers of Gaul, Hannibal Barka and his armies the Terror of Rome. They coild have been a Whole Space Marine Legion of Leonidus and his Threehundred. But instead he was Ares and his Butchers
I bet the rest of the legion was pissed at Kharn when they found out about Angron got the idea to implement the nails in everybody - “Thanks a lot dumbass, I have to get brain surgery and spend the rest of my life in horrific pain just because you couldn’t stop antagonizing our psychotic father!

Dreagher: You know he can kill you, right?
Khârn: At this point, it's a game. If he gives in, I win. And he knows that.

Niceeee, Angron + Abuse. 40k everyone, the more you know the more you think about super satan: yeah i get him.
The difference between the downfall of Angron and that of the Night Haunter is Konrad claimed he had no choice but Angron actually didn’t.
I truly hope that the next time the lion fights angron that he has the emperor's sword so he can give angron what he truly wants....a good death.
Oh emperors empathy, how far you have strained of the intended path.
I'd say Angron was the 1 primarch who didn't have a choice. His brain was mutilated and lived a slave.

For me, the most relatable Primarchs are, Perturabo, Angron, and Magnus. Holy sh*t, I'm f*ckmothering heretic.

Why, in the feth, is the commissar wearing a bald cap?
I'm with ya on that wince. Getting punched in the throat by a fucking Primarch... oof XD
I imagine it felt like a how a flash bang sounds
