Hello Last Corvette, I recently viewed your video to try and find out how to aim the C6 headlights. You didn't even mention anything about the metal rod with a plastic cap back where the bulb caps are. I just had my lenses repaired and found that when I go them back that one of the metal rods was bent. I don't know if it was that way when the dealer took them off the car or if it was bent in shipping. Anyway, is this metal rod the way the headlights are aimed??? I wanted to bend the rod back to straight, although, I don't want to break the plastic in doing so. My first thought was that this metal rod is pot metal, and in trying to straighten it, the rod would break. Do you know if this metal rod is the aiming adjuster for the headlights, and is it necessary that it be straight?? Just one of the two headlights came back bent, so, I'm not sure if the bent metal rod was done while disassembly of the headlights or done in shipping. I personally think is was done in shipping myself. Waiting your response! Dennis PS. I have until Thursday the 9th of June 2022 to do something about straightening the rod, or not.
I had Chevy dealer replace lenses on my C6 Corvette and in less than one year the clear coat is already peeling off big time. They say it's still under warranty they say they're going to repaint the clear coat on them. I don't know if that's going to work. What a mess. What should I do?
They shouldn’t be peeling after one year. They either refinished your old ones or got some super cheap lenses from the start. You have two options. Get another lense set and do it yourself or but aftermarket C6 headlights. Remember they all wheel show signs of wear and will need some plastic polish once a season.

The seal on my C6 was made from that black shit that is near impossible to get out of that grove.
Heat it, scrape it and repeat
