They weren't just running people over... the drivers were raptured while driving. 5 sins to you for not noticing or thinking of that.

the act of rapturing them, caused the others to die prematurely, therefore the drivers, being good people, are wholy (holy) responsible... if they weren't such goody-two-shoes, those unfortunates may have lived and "earned" their forgiveness. so yeah, they are WHOLLY to blame.
30 sins and 4 years of UA-cam Comment Probation to you.
you can't comment without supervision now, so get an adult or guardian, to assist you in the future. not a "yes man" but someone who can think critically for these highly important issues.
mayhapsi should elaborate.... if the drivers were not such good people. they would not be raptured and would not have endangered those who have yet to earn forgiveness like our main characters in the movie can.
so, they are to blame. think deeper next time :p
0:54 you sinned Seth for acting like himself in the movie where he’s literally playing himself
Yeah, that might've been the dumbest "sin" I've seen so far.
@@Chris-kv5cm we are video sinning him

He tortured "my name is jeff" guy
I’m a simple man, I see This Is The End and click with popcorn in hand ready for all the uncomfortable “remember when Rogen and Franco were bff” sins 😂
Is there beef between them now? I don't follow them
@@coltonallgire1135 no beef just Rogen playing damage control for his career by pretending they haven’t been bff since their Freaks & Geeks days after the allegations about Franco using his acting classes to sleep with women.
Rogen should've just kept quiet Instead of trying to save his own reputation...
I love the bonus rounds being in the middle of the video, right after the thing in question happens, it seems funnier that way!
dude this has to be a record for bonus rounds in one vid
13:02 According to an interview with Seth Rogen, Emma Watson walked off set because the cannibal scene at the end. She was supposed to be in but walked off when she realized how grim it ended up being. Rogen said the rewritten scene they ended up with was "more tasteful". Apparently there are no hard feelings, Watson came back the next day to talk things over and she promoted the movie.
Even cinema sins isn’t safe from becoming woke so he has to bash any joke with rape, gay, trans or whatever. It’s kinda sad

You sound cartoonishly weak. 🙄
Hope you guys are doing well now. 💪
you did see the car roof ripped upwards, some of those cars are going on inertia after their owners were raptured, not that people went wildly driving into every one (some)
Yeah I’m surprised he missed that. Probably planes falling out of the sky for the same reason.
And in some of those cars, were people who were *supposed* to be raptured, but instead now live a life with severe head trauma.
Im begging for Dodgeball to be sinned at this point
Though it is hard to sin it much.
@@kellybarthel8060pretty easy now considering how much stuff in it doesn't hold up

1. I'm surprised they haven't done that movie yet.

And Cinema Sins used to be watchable.
As a fan of Back Street Boys, I enjoyed the ending

Don’t care what you say. I still think this is one of the funniest comedy films ever made. It especially works when all the actors are playing exaggerated versions of themselves.

@@maximilianderalpheal1092 Yeah, I know, I say it in theaters.
The sinniest of sinny's.
Wait no sin for McBride telling Jonah Hill he’s an academy award nominated actor and needs to do a better job. I feel like that had the “he would be excellent at CinemaSins” sin written all over it 😉
James Franco was also nominated for Best Actor in 2011 - always wondered why they left that out in this 2013 movie.
Ironically, Rihanna refusing to do anything to prevent her from getting swallowed up by that sinkhole finally enabled her to get some non-musical use out of her iconic umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh.
This comment is both offensive and hilarious. Well done.
That would have been the greatest ending ever. If they wandered onto Tenacious D beating the Devil with their music. Saving the earth.
I feel like cinema sins is more of a hater than usual on this one. Sheesh I thought it was pretty funny 😂😂😂
No way you land at LAX and go to Carl's Jr. You go to In -N-Out.

@@danielmoore8695 Yeah, it's hard to wanna watch the movie after all the stuff that has come out about the people making it & how it was made but the movie itself is funny.
It really is funny. Jonah Hill is the funniest and he and James Franco did a great job of mocking themselves. I fully disagree with this episode.
This movie is absolute ass
Funny asf
5:30 I think the Sins guys missed the point that these are driverless cars (the one going into the convenience store tellingly has a hole in the roof).
Yeah, that's what happens when someone barely watches a movie they think is terrible, they miss hilariously obvious details like this.
@@wickdwabbit Yeah, there were also parts where the "joke" they were criticizing wasn't the joke & was actually the premise of a joke because they don't understand the difference between a setup & a punchline.
This movie has major problems & most of the cast are horrible people but this channel turns out worse every time I make the mistake of giving it another chance. Like that "No, this is the beginning." part was one of the weakest sins or jokes... or whatever it was supposed to be that I've seen on this channel so far.
On par with the ones where they'd say "This actor was also in Random Unrelated Movie." *Sin for no reason.*
@@D_YellowMadness Fully agree.
There's actually a bumper sticker I see on cars all the time: "In case of rapture, this car will be unmanned." (maybe it's just a regional thing though). I always think, aren't they committing the sin of pride, to be so sure that they are righteous enough to be raptured, and on top of that, the bumper sticker is a humble-brag?
@@jrbutterfly31 You don't have to be righteous, just forgiven. But yes.
Idk, I think Jonah Hill's extremely negligent use of a firearm was pretty funny 😅
Didn't anyone tell you? Any time any tragedy happens, anything bearing any similarity to that tragedy is permanently unfunny, even retroactively & it's the joke writer's fault no matter what.
I agree. It emphasizes that these are not serious people.
Wow, three bonus rounds in one video?? I didnt know it was Christmas again!!

I'm not sure exactly why but I love this movie
Love how you still use the super mario world bonus round music
The best thing about Cinema Sins: getting to speed-run through terrible movies without the feeling of disappointment when it's over.

9:24 Who the hell is Danny McDonald? Sin for not even getting the name right.
😂😂😂 never noticed it until I read your comment.
@@MisssKayyI noticed it right away, but I couldn’t think of what his name actually was. So I was stuck trying to think of his last name and ended up scrolling past a comment naming Danny McBride 😂
I'm assuming it was intentional because his last name is McBride since it starts with a Mc it was probably a joke. Also, Michael McDonald was part of the Doobie Brothers and there's a lot of doobies in this movie. It could be a several layered Hollywood Insider joke
1:15 seconds in and i remember why i hit do not recommend on this channel.
Going outside during an earthquake is better than staying inside and buried by rubble
Yeah, I tried reading an article to see why you shouldn't go outside during an earthquake but every threat they mentioned was stuff that wouldn't be there. Because you'd be outside. They did mention stuff fall off of buildings but why would you be standing right next to the building?
They also mentioned trees & power lines but why would you be standing right next to those? Most people don't live in the woods.
Yep. it is everyone's first instinct to get out of the house when an earthquake hits. Especially if you're on the first floor - or in a convenience store.
We got hit with a 3am "roller" in the late 2000s and I was in a downstairs bedroom - first time I thought I would really die in an earthquake.@@D_YellowMadness

@@OversoulGaming Yeah, but, as this channel reminds us every video: "No movie is without sin."
5 minutes in and hes acting like the beams are just beams and people are driving in a murderous rage where its just the rapture had happened and the cars were empty but still moving
it's only now, watching this, that I realize that it seems like Jay Baruchel learned how to speak directly and exclusively from Christian Slater.
Why did I read this? It is SO accurate! He watched "Heathers" a lot growing up apparently. A brilliant movie that I'm sure would be torn apart today.
You’re actually missing the point of several of the jokes here. I’m perplexed.
Seth “sometimes you get a cool treat when someone breaks into your car” Rogen
"More fun to make than to watch " truer words about most movies were never spoken
I don’t care what dude says, this movie is hilarious
Jeremy in the beginning when the blue lights came some ppl who were driving got beamed into Heaven so their cars were just still running and that is what happened to the car crashing into the store. The driver was beamed out of their car. That’s the point.
Oh hey! Its the guy in the HTTYD movies and Man Seeking Woman. I wonder what hes doing now. Haven't heard much from him now...
He was recently in BlackBerry alongside the guy who played Dennis in It’s Always Sunny.

The biggest sin is thinking butterfingers are better than three musketeers but besides that I love this video
Modern Classic, each scene ... COMEDY MAGIC 😂👹
I am not sure if this is a misconception based on not watching the movie well enough or a intentional mistelling of events to make a joke. But the reason people start crashing is cause they were driving and got raptured.
I've watched it & you're right. The fact that they didn't pick up on it is wild & is one of multiple signs that no one writing this video actually watched the whole movie or even the whole video.

It was also created by Seth Rogen, and it has Josh Hutcherson in it
I loved that show! I was gonna rewatch it a couple months ago (since I originally watched it in 2018, 2019) when I found Hulu purged it. :(
I think it was seeing the guy who played "Wolf" (can't remember his name) in "Gen V" that made me think of "FutureMan" and gave me the idea to rewatch it.
