Ghanaian trained Doctors need to learn from this Doctor.
Talking to the patient with a lot of respect and compassion.
God bless you Doctor.
I soooooooo agree with you. Much love to our locally trained medical professionals but like you say, some of them need to learn to discharge their duties in a pleasant, empathetic and respectful manner.
I don't know where you go to hospital but I have never met a rude Doctor in Ghana before.
@@raphaelkartey1660 OMG go to Korle bu . 37 police hospital and the RIDGE hospital.
Yesss she should work with the government to teach medical students
The doctor in this video is ghanaian trained, University of Ghana, in case you do not know.
Originally from east africa.
That's why we appreciate you. The good, the bad and the ugly team. Hugs from across the oceans.
I Like the way the doctor is taking her time to explain things to her.......i have to visit the place
People often think things are primitive in countries outside of the west. So glad you showed this medical facility that staffed professional medical staffers just as bright and brilliant as any other places on the planet 🥰
They were interviewed on Wode Maya show you can check them out n their story
@Lovely_Day Good advice, you nailed it, it's all about diet and I can attest to it, I had the same issue and my Doctor prescribed alternative medicine which was diet.
Wish our Ministers would opt for medical treatment here in Ghana instead of flying out to the UK, America etc
@Lovely_Day you sis, have made the best comment this year. It all begins with the inside, I hope Anna sees this and takes heed
Thank you. I am a ER nurse and most people are too embarrassed to get help for hemorrhoids. Thanks for making this situation feel common, because believe it or not it is common. Now, I feel like more people will seek treatment and not feel embarrassed, there is nothing to be embarrassed about. Thank you, you did good.
She was an attentive physician which is rare and she talked to the patient listened educated and provide a plan this is how care is supposed to work. I'm surprised because some have not had so good experience at hospital abroad so it's refreshing to view a good experience
Love this kind of hands-on educational content.. using it as inspiration for my own channel 💯💯💯
Anna, I applaud you! Most women after child birth experience this. I did too! I had the banding procedure done, it improved my situation but didn't completely eliminate it. I am considering another banding procedure or surgery. Sending you love and hugs, I know what this feels like. ❤
You've covered something very many women cant talk about. Well done Anna. I had mine removed about 5 years ago. But occasionally they pop round to say hello....lol! What she doesn't mention is that the pain killers given after surgery cause bad constipation, Now imagine how uncomfortable and painful it is when you have to "go" ! Plus because they are capped they fall off when the blood supply stops this could take a few days, now that end bit that falls off eventually does get very smelly in the days before it detached. That was just my experience. Defo do the surgery you will feel much better for it. Out here in the UK it is considered cosmetic surgery so it's not really necessary. Just how you feel. Much respect for sharing this xx
Go for the cream & see how to goes. But if the pain and size still hasn’t reduced, maybe go for the surgery
I've had it for over 10 years, I just shove it back up lol I realized ever since I started to eat better and hydrate it doesn't hurt or pop out anymore, been fine for over 2 years now.
You are brave doing this on camera!!
Kudos to you because it's informative for others who may be experiencing the same issues.
Ur so brave for sharing this Anna. I hope u feels much better soon. Doctor was very informative ❤️❤️
Much respect for sharing a personal issues which as the doctor mentioned is not talked about a lot and hence misinformation out there... found this video very informative and challenging people to demystify such perspectives ✌🏻
I like the doctor she seems informative and I love how she educates you as a lay person. I hope she can also refer you to a primary care physician too if you don’t already have one. Feel better. 🤗
Hi Anna, sorry to hear about your irritating problem. I hope you can find a solution to your problems soon.
The lady explained everything so well. Nice video.
I am impressed in so many ways. First the confidence to share such close and personal stuff with the world, congrats to you for that. The next thing is the professionalism of the doctor and the hospital facility seems to be of top class, nice to see this as a very positive for Africa and Ghana to be specific because most of the images coming out of Africa with sick or hospitalized people are with flies all over them on broken down beds , I am so pleased that you can showcase Africa and Ghana in such a positive light. Best of luck in taking care of your health and keep doing what you are doing. Love from Toronto. ❤
Anna this is marvellous, finally someone who is brave enough to put something that can be embarrassing a real medical issue out there, and the treatment and solutions. As you asked us for our opinion, I think you should use the cream shrink it as much as you can especially as you said you wanted more children have your children then get the operation. Good luck
You are brave to share this information with us. Very informative and helpful.
Thank you sharing. I will now be less worried about medical facilities in Ghana.
This vlog was EXCELLENT! You are a gangsta for sharing, and yes they are common. Best wishes in your treatment.
This was an excellent interview, thank you! I appreciate your transparency. No doubt there are phenomenal physicians in Ghana, but to see this has eased my concerns of health care while in Ghana.
I see surgery as a last option. I would start with other solutions first.
Totally agree with you. I used to have the same problem even worse cause mine was bleeding and it was sticking out. I went to my Doctor and he gave me the best alternative treatment for this condition, basically all I had to do was to avoid eating processed food like bread, cakes, candies and increase vegetable consumption, drink lots of water and avoid or minimize alcohol intake. I also did my own research and found out that vegetables like fresh kale, collard greens, spinach and some fruits like pawpaw can help with immediate relief and healing.
Wooow! This video reminds when I visit SIBLEY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL HERE IN WASHINGTON DC. Thank you so much for sharing
It's very brave of u to share something so personal & private to the world. Thank you so much for ur bravery & information that u provided. I'm praying that u get better asap... God bless u & ur family.
God bless individuals in Ghana who has provided health care more grace to them...... government should reduce import duties for them...
Good on U Anna for bringing us along on ur journey. Brave woman. Hope u sort out the problem
Anna thank you for sharing your personal issue with with us, you are not alone we got your back, I think you should use the cream for now 👍♥️♥️♥️🇺🇲🇬🇭🇬🇭

Hello Anna.... Thank You Mrs. Acheampong. These are the types of videos that westerners need to see . I really like and enjoy your videos.
Thumbs Up !
you are a very brave and open woman. The doctor seems to be a very good doctor. Best of luck, and get well soon.
All my questions answered, I have haemorrhoids and I want more children. I used de cream for over 2 yrs no action so I will wait after having my last baby den surgery
Gps in the UK are timed, less than 10mins per patient. I like hospital drs. This dr was very good. Well done Anna for sharing
Thank you for sharing this. Women - individuals in general feel so lost and alone when they face health concerns. Your video can be viewed by the millions of ppl who are and have experienced this. I even learned so much from your talks about strengthening the pelvic floor muscles! I purchased a yoni steam at home set-up and so thankful for your tips! I pray the spirit of infirmity flees and goes to dry places in Jesus’ name.
Thank your for sharing. You are a brave woman. You will help many Ghanian women and women everywhere as well as us guys..
Hi Anna ..I hope all is well with u..U r bless ur family is bless u r a strong beautiful woman ,u will be just fine sending u and ur family love from the Caribbean island..
Wow, this is courageous of you to share. Good luck!
Beautiful medical facility, I'm glad you are showcasing it. Not many youtubers talk about the health care aspect of relocating which in the west we've been lead to believe that healthcare in Africa is horrible. Thank you so much and I pray your hemorrhoids get better, I know that has to be irritating. The stuff we put our bodies through to bring our babies into this world lol!
Get a doc like Doc Fatima , she explained it so simple and made it seem so simple tooo.
Get well soon sis , we need you safe and healthy 🙏
Thank you for sharing and being vulnerable with us. The doctor was really great, give you options. So doctors in other parts of the world would give you surgery as the only option because of more money. Kudos to Lucca and this doctor. Wode Maya had done an interview with this hospital.
You asked really good questions. In my opinion surgery is rather extreme and your specific issue doesn't really require it. Like the doctor said, I suggest you start small - with the creams and see how it goes. Work your way up from there. Move to the next them the next. Surgery should be the last option.
Thank you Anna for bringing this very important subject to our attention. 👏🏿
Thanks for sharing with us I think you should go for the surgery.I pray you'll be healed from this.I love your videos.
Use the cream and consider changing your diet particularly abstaining from sugar, dairy and gluten foods. Eat plant based diet and plenty of omega3 food.
I have become a fan of your channel as well, All the best with it! Love the honesty!
Wow!! Thanks for sharing. Great video!
WOOL . Nice for sharing positive information to ppl . Africa / Ghana is Beautiful , it’s just that you need money before you can get such treatment from Private clinics. This is one of the many privileged we enjoy here. #Bigup
I am over 60 male and had on and of painful pile all my life. I went through surgery 4 years ago and my health has been much better.
I live in the US. But my mum and dad goes there. They are superb
Thank you for sharing and sorry about your health issue. I think you have the best care in this facility and I really appreciate the time the doctor took to educate about the issue and discuss the pros and cons of different treatment procedures. Remain blessed...
Hoping that Luca healthcare opens its facilities in EA too
Great info. Incredible to see this medical office in Ghana! Great work Ana!
Btw I would try the cream first if I was in your shoes.
You guys are amazing, I love your channel. You guys keep it real. My opinion, if the pain keeps coming back and it gets worse, go ahead and have the surgery.
Betawedade Jegna
Good recovery my sister, Twelve years ago I did a surgery for the same sickness thanks God since that I feel good now and I would like to say thanks for your honest to let us learn as always, and I am glad that you found wonderful professional doctor with full explanation the cause and the solution , Because I did my operation in one of the the famous hospital in Europe in( Insel Hospital in Bern Switzerland )instead of the doctor introduced me and I signed to do my operation someone’s else’s doing my operation (The assistant) luckily the operation well done ,but it’s kind of less trust .
Regards family the Acheampong 😊
Michael Eritrean but living in Switzerland

The facility is very clean and top modern class.
Wow Anna you really asked good questions! This was really educative thank you for sharing ❤️
Sorry to hear this. I wish you all the best and a speedy recovery after the intervention.
Hoi Anna, new subsriber here.
Thanks for sharing. Alot of people face this problem. Men and wemen
As real as it gets! Love yall. I had it too when i was pregnant and after delivery luckely it went away by itself. I would try the cream and if it doesnt work i definitly would go for the operation. Either way its your choice xx. Feel better soon.
Hopeu have a speedy recovery
The doctor is right a lot of people has hemorrhoids but are embarrassed to speak up,thanks for sharing Ana👍👍
Thank you for this content. You’ve eased a lot of minds out there.

Luca health is a wonderful hospital.
Very bravery lady
Have I gain some knowledge? Yes .thanks dear
Wish you all the best and a permanent solution to it. God be with you.
I’m happy you showed this! You have no idea. My mom lives in Ghana. She hasn’t been to a doctor in so long.
Thank you for educating us and sharing such an intimate thing with us.I think it is very common with women and at times if you have constant constipation.
Dear Anna, greetings from Czech Republic. I'd say definitely consider the surgery as it is more of a permanent resolution to the pain and discomfort, rather that endlessly applying creams and it is really small small procedure. Wishing you best of luck whatever you decide 💖
I really enjoyed this. It was an education for me. The doctor was lovely.
Wow Brave Mrs Acheampong. It is well. Nice facility but natural herbs 🌿 works great cost less and easy
😊 get well Anna!😊😊😊
So proud of you and courageous
They seem to know what they're doing and the place is very clean. Depending on side effects, it may be best to have the surgery
Sitz bath and hemorrhoid suppositories help a lot too...medical professional here...well done for sharing such an experience. Bless you guys🙌🏾💕
awh ! Thank you for sharing with us! Whatever may be your decision I pray you get rid of it in the most perfect way soon!
Thank you so much for the education! I loved this episode.
I applaud you for doing this video.... and getting personal with your fan ... this will help a lot ... and yes thanks for going to this modern hospital it really show Ghana and Africa in a good light..because hear in the U.S we always Ben show the ugly hospital in Africa ... and Wode Maya did a video in this hospital.. the doctor was very informative... so thank you again for you doing this video...... I think you should do the surgery and get it over with ...
Thanks for sharing. I’ve had the same issue and never followed up with a doctor. Now maybe I will.
Whew! You're brave. I enjoyed your honesty
Try the cream
Anna your videos are so informative and helpful. We appreciate your bravery. The doctor did a great job. start low go slow is what they usually say. I would do the cream first its less invasive you don't have to be inactive for recovery time. If it doesn't work then may be surgery. Get better soon. In the mean time try high fiber diet so you are not constipated and watch out for acidic food and drinks.
I’m in Nursing. Use the cream. Don’t do surgery especially if u want more kids. . (USA)
Use the mean while to see how far the improvement. My shrinking after using cream.
Much love from Uganda ❤❤🇺🇬🇺🇬💪
Very good Anna...👏👏👏👏👏 I just love ❤ how brave of a woman you are...
I believe that you should do the minor surgery, so in that case you dont have to ever think about it going and coming back again...
I had it once, after giving birth to my fourth child... It cast by me having to pushing force out to have my children... I did the minor surgery of removing mine, over some ten years now, I must confessed that I am free woman now, it never grew back...
Thank God for Doctors and Technology...
Be bless Anna, keep up the good faith, God is with you always... Kiss the children them for me, say hello to Mr. Acheampong for me....
Blessing🙏🙏🙏🙏
🙏❤🙂🇨🇦
Thanks for your video. It was very informative.
