    Looks great, I particularly like the angles of the back and leg area for better comfort.

    Man I know you posted this a year ago and I’m a bit late on it, but damn I was shocked to see something so professional looking broken down in an easy to understand video. Congrats that’s pretty slick, I hope I can do something half as good in my space

    I have a really small dining area and I'm looking to maximize seating for my family. This is inspiring, thank you!

    I want to do a similar build. What are the dimensions of the end of the benches and how wide is your table? My plan is just to have two adjacent benches that are about 6' long that face each other with a table in the middle. I am also considering countertop height table so the benches would need to be a little higher off the floor. I will be building the benches and the table.

      Very nice! I would build the table first. Then experiment with seat height and proximity to the table.

      Thank you for your feedback. You are the second person to point those out and you are both right. I am going to switch the outlets and covers to black.

      Tonight I switched all three outlets and cover plates for black ones. Thank you for the suggestion.

    How long did this take you?

    • @houseonthemend
      @houseonthemend  6 місяців тому

      If I could have devoted at least 4 hours a day (without operating cameras and lighting) probably a month. In reality, however, it was spread out over six months.

    How much was something like this ? I’m currently looking for someone in my area to build one for my octagon windows.

    • @houseonthemend
      @houseonthemend  Рік тому

      Great question. The labor cost to have someone else build it will by far be the biggest expense so I would be sure to get multiple quotes.

      @@houseonthemend the problem is not everyone builds to this standard. I’ve received a few quotes for substandard work for $1000-1500

    • @houseonthemend
      @houseonthemend  Рік тому

      Wow, I would expect a quote closer to $6000.
