We traveled to Minsk in early July and visited Valeriya' s mother as entering Belarus became possible again. Despite all the fearmongering, I myself was very excited to experience this country and it was a very positive experience indeed.
Belarusian hospitality is unlike any. Valeriya's mother cooked us all the traditional Belarusian foods such as syrniki (belarusian cottage cheese pancakes), draniki (potato pancakes) and kotletki (meat patties) and much more, too much to capture in one video. We also enjoyed the best caviar with every meal. Belarusian cuisine might be simple, perhaps eve
Minsk as a city itself amazed me with the many monuments such as Lenin monument, with a statue of Lenin displayed majestically in front of a government building and Victory Square with it's Eternal Flame burning for over 60 years. There are many more statues and monuments, beautiful and unique buildings, huge avenues and nicely trimmed grass everywhere. Minsk is also a very clean city as noted by many who have visited.
I hope you enjoyed the video. If you did, please consider subscribing and stay tuned for a few more Belarus video's.

Thanks for sharing. I have visited Belarus 3 times during the supposedly war. Found it very beautiful and peaceful. They also have the most beautiful women in the world.

hi , few enquiries, minsk is visa free?. could u give some idea , is it visa free or visa on arrival . do we need pre flight registrations or eta electronic travel authorization, i also heard people need visa support from minsk hotel, and also travel insurance should be belarus govt approved?

Hi, yes you will need insurance and an invite/address to stay. I believe visa free applies when you fly into Belarus and plan on staying for no more than 30 days. You can reach out to @minskguide or @anfisabelarus. I am sure they will be glad to anwer any further queries you might have.

This is refreshing to see. I asked a question on Reddit about visiting Minsk in the summer.
They all went crazy on me saying that I’m ignorant and that they hate people like me. Of course non of the Reddit users live there. They were describing Belarus as if it was North Korea 2.0
But seriously, is there anything I should look for if I want to get a visa to visit Belarus as an American? Are there any well known scams or thugs I should look out for?

Hey, thanks for the comment. You need insurance and an invite/address to stay. I believe that when you fly into Belarus and plan on staying for 30 days, you don't need a visa. You can reach out to @minskguide or @anfisabelarus. I am sure they will be glad to anwer any query you might have.
Regarding well known scams or thugs, I don't know. General principles apply.
