Which method suits: 1) compute TCI, VCI, SAVI, WSVI, TVDI for each Landsat scenes and then mosaic or 2) Mosaic bands separately and then performed TCI, VCI, SAVI, WSVI, TVDI
For three consecutive Landsat scenes, I suggest if you use a much simpler tool 'merge' raster in QGIS. Unless there is cloud cover around edges it will simlessly merge your scenes and you can calculate any of these indices.
It is tested in Iran (Shahabfar, Ghulam, & Eitzinger, 2012), Kenya (Klisch & Atzberger, 2016), Ethiopia (Liou & Mehabie, 2019), and Bangladesh (Faridatul & Ahmed, 2020). Satellite Based Exploration of Land-use Dynamics, Drought Susceptibility, and Land Suitability in Central Highlands of Ethiopia (Yohannes, 2021).
