NDVI area calculation | Calculate area from pixel | NDVI values range

This video will help to easily classify an image and to calculate the area from it. Creating NDVI and classify the map is so easy. I used Landsat 5 image here. For that, I choose my red band as band number 3 and infrared band as band number 4. You can find the download link for Landsat images and here are some of the videos I have created earlier.

Pardon my mistakes. To calculate the square km it have to be divided by 1000 * 1000 = 1000000. I missed one zero.

Of course you can. As a matter of fact this the procedure to calculate area for pixel. So you can measure any kind of raster image by this process

why should count multiple by 30x30? the count variable is already represent the 30x30 area rite? 30x30 area is counted by 1?

The image resolution is 30 meter. That's why you have to use 30x30. For 10m resolution it will be 10x10.

@@abirmechkour67 Actually what we have done here is creating and NDVI of our area. NDVI is filled with just numbers from -1 to 1. So, you have to create NDVI and find that file and set your range value.
