LOVE this film. Even the opening credits are wonderful. Merle Oberon was excellent and beautiful as Lydia. This was the last film of the magnificent Edna May Oliver.

This is the movie that introduced me to Merle Oberon- I've been a big fan of hers since. Merle Oberon and Joseph Cotton in the same movie! What a thrill! Two of my all-time favorite Actors!!!
