I love coming back to this video; this video was one of two where I learned I experienced ASMR. Your Keyboard Experimental performance was the other.
Never thought I would watch a guy eat beef jerky and drinking wine on youtube.
And at the same time pleasuring my brain.
i like eating sounds with whispering because i think there's something about it that's also like "personal attention". It brings kind of closeness? also there's something about the mouth sounds thats very relaxing...i don't know what it is. but i really like whispering or soft speaking with sounds. there's something very personal about it something like sitting and eating with a close friend!
Yeah, in all honesty, it is your creativity, uniqueness, and inventiveness that draws most of your viewers to your channel. You really are a breath of fresh air for those of us who watch 3 to 5 videos per night and would like to see something new. Great job with this series. I've learned a lot :)
What really makes this video great is that you can hear from the sounds that it's tasty.
A lot better than faked, relaxed, controlled sounds from just regular eating.
Makes the sounds slightly uncontrolled, random and genuine.
I've come back to this video so many times 😂, I just love it way too much. I'm also wondering if Uncle E will reply to such an old video
And about why I like these so much..
Well, when I hear people eating loudly next to me, I don't really like it, like most people. Though these videos are so quiet, calm, relaxing. You can really sit back and focus on the little sounds. And when whispering, you can nearly feel the breath in your neck. With the drinking sounds it's a bit the same, you can nearly feel the drink in your throat.
Your voice has always been relaxing to me, but what keeps me coming back and what puts me to sleep is your delightful hushed modesty.
I remember when this video first posted 10 years ago when I first started highschool, I’d listen to this specific video before I’d catch the bus lol. And after all these years, I still find comfort in this video. 👍😁

The best beef jerky is your own. $30 for a dehydrator is an amazing investment. It doesn't end up being all that much cheaper to make it, but it's so much fresher and it allows you to change it however you want.
great job man. i actually think that the sounds of chewing is the most relaxing sound I've heard of all asmr triggers. I have a fragrance lamp next to me & I was stirring up the vanilla extract I bought & listening to it pour onto the lamp cover really triggered that asmr as well. there's so many things I think colleges should really study into this
i love beef jerky :) so good. my dad also loves beef jerky with beer :) and some pistachios
I love beef jerky, but unfortunately I'm british so the only place its usually sold is in supermarkets in the wine/spirit isle at £2 (About $3.20) for a VERY small bag, about as much as 1 piece of that jerky in a bag
Two tips: 1. Never fill the glass so much. Leave more space than wine, to allow the wine to breath and aromas to circulate with air when drinking. 2. Twist (rotate) the bottle with your wrist at the end of the pour, to prevent drips and spills.
Amid my GCSE's an all the stress, I find myself visiting your videos a lot. Thanks for all the relaxing content. :)

First off, my jaw dropped when you said "this is my first time eating beef jerky." Also I wanted to tell you that I like the sounds, but what really triggers me is when the sounds are a bi product of something you're doing. Which is a big reason I come to your channel you have a good understanding many different types of triggers and are able to execute them in varying artistic ways. Love the channel, and be as creative as you want, we're with you.
asmr is great, beef jerky is great, and two combined is even better, if this video is anything to go by.

When I was in college, I used to hate taking tests. Invariably there would be somebody either chewing gum or snacking, and with the quiet room it majorly triggered my ASMR. I would sit there, unable to concentrate and my mind would beg me to fall asleep as my head tingled all over. I always wondered if I was the only one with this wonderful disability...
I learned how to power through it and did very well in spite of it. This video brings back memories, but now I *can* fall asleep. :)
Beef jerky is so damn tasty. However it is extremely over priced in my opinion. It's pretty easy to make your own, you should look up some recipes if you have the time.

You should try getting some in the shops where I live. It's rare to find and costs $12 USD for 3oz. It's insane. (norway)
Instead I order it online and have it shipped from the US. Even with shipping and toll it's still a fraction of the price. It's awesome! Though marginally illegal, due to trade agreements. ;)

I can't stress how much better home made Beef jerky is compared to pre-packaged. It's a process of few hours, and yes a smoker is needed, but you'll be in heaven when you taste the real deal. Could be a cool project for yourself, i knot it was for me.
Mouth proximity to the mic is amazing. As is the whispering and crinkling gently with the hands. More please

Honestly, Jack Links never has steered me wrong. Do-it-yourself beef jerky and deer jerky tastes great as well.

I don't like eating sounds, smacking lips, etc. in general BUT it does depend. This clip is very appealing, & reminds me of sniffing & nibbling on fine cheeses at room temperature with my French spouse. He's way into it & I'm not so I just have a little, but going really slowly & learning about the production, the region, the materials, the qualities, the age, etc. is quite voluptuous at times. This man has a generally pleasing set of qualities, I find. These clips are very good for me.

Its funny how you mentioned that our primary reason is to eat. I thought the other day, something along the same lines. Our life revolves around food and eating. I love food too but I have an illness that makes me feel queasy often. I cherish every moment of my good days. Wonderful video as well.

I tried some from my local Asda after watching this video and really enjoyed it, i watched this video again whilst eating it as i fault it relaxing. Didnt drink the wine though as im more a lager/beer drinker. Brilliant video by the way ive followed you for a long time and your videos are getting better and better. Keep up the good work E.R

Between Las Vegas and Los Angeles there is a town called Baker, CA. In Baker they have a store called Alien Fresh Jerky. They are my favorite: tons of flavor options, slightly sticky, very fresh, and they also sell fresh honey and hot sauces. Jerky is a good snack for camping, hiking, hunting, and fishing. Chew it, hold it in your mouth like Skoal until it loses it's flavor, swallow, then repeat.
Best beef jerky brand, if you ask me, is Damn Good Beef Jerky.
Here's my advice on beef jerky though. Keep in mind how very salty it is. It's a really good healthy snack except for that. Make sure you drink enough water in the day and probably not a great idea to eat it every day.
But if you really like it, making it yourself isn't all that hard.
As for the question at the end, I will destroy a bag of beef jerky any hour of the day. Great stuff.
I find it incredible you've lived in America as long as you have and didn't know about Oberto beef jerky, they are THE go-to brand for good beef jerky. Now you're hooked, right? :)
Alien Beef Jerky is the best. It has a store in Cali, but you can buy some on their website. They have a good bit of variation.
I like eating sounds because I like food and when people make eating sounds it makes me hungry and relaxed because eating makes me happy therefore relaxed.. and bam asmr
Making your own jerky at home is really simple and is way cheaper. I also tend to think it tastes better as well.
There's a brand of beef jerky called Perky Jerky (odd name I know), and I think it's one of the best store bought beef jerky you can get. You should try that sometime.
@MeLittleAbbey I think it's because the cork can expand after it is put into the bottle. Don't quote me on that though.
Naughty Knight Original, Kings County Jerky or Five Star Original are my favorite Beef Jerkys. Kings County might be my favorite. It's a Grass-fed Original.

Video #8 on the beer videos. The peanut video :) where your eating the whole thing shell and all. That's one of 4 asmr videos that I watch almost every day. I always wish it was a longer video. With that being said I wouldn't mind seeing one where you play solitare until you win. Within reason of course because of the fact it's so damn tough to win. It might be a 12 hour video, sort of an asmr game of monopoly so to speak. Solitare, peanuts, beer, dressed in bubble wrap. Hehe >_

If you want a different jerky to try, I recommend Jack Link's Sweet and Hot. It seems to get hotter the longer you chew it. So if you like spicy, I'd definitely suggest you check it out.

E.R. I think you should definitely try making your own beef jerky. all you need is an oven, its relatively easy and there are tons of recipes online, or I can send you one I use

Jack links jerky is pretty good. But for wine, try Cabernet sovignon. I don't know if that is how you spell it, but it's good wine
