Who doesn't love a good road trip to The Rockies This video showcases a few must see spots in Banff for those on a time crunch. A Day in Banff National Park is like none other - Lake Louise, Mount Norquay Lookout and of course, the Banff sign are just a few spots we are going to cover.
We picked up our rental car at YYC and headed to the mountains! The four of us were in initial flight attendant training at the time this video was filmed, so we were very happy to spend our day off exploring Banff National Park and enjoying nature! We only had the afternoon to work with, so we decided to hit up Lake Louise first and make our way back towards Banff! Lake Louise is a must see if visiting the area for the first time. After exploring for a while, a few members of our party were getting a little hangry, so we stopped at the Rose and Crown for lunch and then hit the town for some shopping! My favourite spot in town for a yummy hot chocolate would definitely be Little Wild Coffee shop by Wild Flour. After lunch, we hit up Bow falls and completed the day with a visit to the castle in the mountains. A nostalgic visit for me as I worked on the Banff Springs Golf Course back in 2017.
Banff National Park has SO much to offer. So many amazing places to eat and explore. But for those with limited time in town, I hope these 8 highlights were helpful for you when planning your visit.

Beautiful scenery, stay an extra day next time, check out Johnston Canyon and the falls, Lake Minnewanka, Grotto Canyon, the Columbia Icefields, so much more.
I've been to all of those places except Grotto Canyon. I used to live in Banff and spent a loooot of time exploring! Really miss it.
