big problem is to many unneed connector on your antenna cable as insertion losses there takes away from any gain in the antenna. buying a new correct connector on the N-type having as few as possible all add to more efficient cable coupling of your transmitter to antenna You EFI will be higher with a max of 50 watt and give your repeater more range in the end. Yes it works when all things are dry but all connection will get wet and there just more chances with yours.

Good video. Thats great coverage to hit that repeater, especially given the terrain in your area.
There is one in hazard ky I can get into It’s over 100 miles away. I have a pretty good spot for radio reception.
