  • New Steering wheel in 72 Olive. The last wheel I had in the car was just too small of a diameter and the grip was too thick. Tinkering around with this car for a few days and having fun sine the rain stopped. This porsche 911 is like fine wine, better with age..and with a lot of fiddling. Hope these videos are enjoyable to watch.

    Those snow capped mountains are the San Bernardino Mts (Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead). Angeles Forest is in the San Gabriel Mts with Angeles Crest HWY east of LA.

    I know this would be tough for me, and I suspect for many others, but wearing a pair of leather driving gloves with the ebonite wheel is the way things were back when. I just can't bring myself to wear leather driving gloves. I hold no slight towards anyone who does, it's just not a me thing. But an old ebonite wheel is likely best handled with a pair of leather driving gloves. Let us know if you can swing it. Peace to you and yours brother!

      @michaelgideon6422  Рік тому

      Ah I never thought about that but it does make sense. I’m not big on driving gloves but I would try that. The ebonite feels great, it’s just too hard. I’ll borrow a pair from a buddy. Cheers Scott!

    Thanks. A video of the interior at night with the intruments dials lights On would be nice. I was always curious about the look. From the photos i´ve seen, the lights look pretty weak. Thanks and Best Regards.

      Good idea, I'll do a video and show the lights at night. They look awesome, but are dim. Changing the bulbs to LEDs is simple and cranks up the light

    You need chrome grills for the external
    But, mostly, prebumper's rev counter

      Need is a strong word lol I’ve been looking for chrome grills and haven’t found a good set. I also want the chrome lettering on the deck lid. I guess this tach is from a newer car I haven’t looked into what a 72 tach is suppose to look like
