James T. Horn - If My Heart Had An A-- (1996)

The "radio mix" of the first promotional single released by country singer James T. Horn, signed to Curb/Universal Records in the mid-nineties. Three commercial singles and this promotional single were released throughout 1996 and 1997 ahead of a planned album, but the album was seemingly shelved. "If My Heart..." was released as a promotional CD single (with four separate mixes and "If Dreams Have Wings" as a bonus track) exclusively to country dance clubs. Extended dance remixes such as this one were commonplace in the country music world in the early-to-mid 90's, as the line dance craze swept the nation and the country genre became more "relevant" (in a mainstream sense) than it had been in many years.
