2 years later…your process is more insightful than the relevance of the Apple Loops. There are surprisingly few videos on compositions using Apple Loops or packs, and yet there’s now 29 packs with samples, drum kits, alchemy presets and other goodies. Vox Melodics with 450 vocal samples is the latest, but do you think I can find anybody who’s actually used those samples in a song? Nope. I think GarageBand, and Logic users play around with the Apple Loops and packs for a few hours, but then ignore them and forget about ‘em. It’s kinda a shame. 😂
Absolutely bonkers video! Thank you very much for your well-delivered content. I found this extremely helpful and informative. Subscribed and liked from Canada.
The spot when you switched to the live loop grid view at the 3:52 mark. I did not know that could be done on the desktop version. I thought it was only on iOS! Also, I am thankful I found your channel. I am just wanting to create my own sounds for YT videos and not pay a site. I have GarageBand, midi keyboard, regular keyboards, iPad and the Mac. Seen a ton of stuff about using Ableton Live. I just want to use GB. You’ve caught a subscriber and I will be checking out more of your content for ideas. Thank you very much! (Oops, you are using Logic Pro which I bought as part of the expansion pack when I was enrolled as a student. Have used before. Glad to see I can use Apple loops too)
@@CharlesCleyn Hi Charles, I’m an old school R&B writer producer with a few hits out there.😉Do you collaborate, teach or have a one on one? I enjoy your vibe-knowledge and I’m slowly making up ground with your instruction.
great video! I wish you make your own drum beat with apple loops (logic have loops of kicks, snares, etc.) it makes mixing a lot easier! hope we can see this in your future videos!
I have a problem with loops, thay loading on track in RAW wersion, without any reverb and original settings...sounds different than original. Maby you can halp me to find a problem? Thank you :)
Man that was legit! Are you on Logic Pro? Also am I able to add more loops into garageband, or any more noises? I set up my UA-cam channel and put a few song up. I used loops and some with me on the computer keys. Still need to get a drum pad machine with keys connected. But man I love it
For very advanced student editor, I guess instruction speed is OK, but such a student wouldn't need to watch this anyway. For an intermediate producer like myself, you move through the instruction so quickly that I, frankly, got lost so many times that I finally became overwhelmed & just gave up trying to follow the instruction flow. But, that is just me. Sure would be nice to take this video and insert a link at each editing step, which would lead the viewer to another video, explaining the specific individual procedure to a less advanced explanation. Otherwise, I can see you've edited a lot of music compositions over time & clearly understand the process you have settle on to produce your work. Thanks.
you should make another video making a beat using only apple loops but going more in depth for begginners, Im a newbie and I got lost when you had to cut that bass and cut another part of it and all that bc you just did it and didnt explain how you did :(
Here you have it. This is how can create instrumental sessions and NEVER EVER get that accomplished feeling as a producer/beatmaker, because you ain't really done a damn thing creative at all. Congratulations!!

does he play the final thing anywhere?
you're going really fast dude. I'm assuming this is not a video suitable for beginners. A suggestion: For each video, rate the difficulties.

It really baffles me that no one uses Apple Loops. It's there, it's free. Sadly, people want to use splice
First
