And so so true, looks and Islam extremists, terrorists. Islam in extreme is extremely bad because of what it truly teaches and to live by it’s teachings is to be a terrorist who is allowed to have sex slaves. Christianity in its extreme is extreme love for everyone and for the God you serve.
@@tornay131 I think this is good in theory. But I think anything in extreme, even if it's good, can be overdone and end up having negative impact on someone or something.

Hey sister. I know what you are saying. In times of revival everyone becomes a fanatic. Keep being extreme. Established Christians routinely try to smother enthusiasm. I have noted it many times in my life and it surprises me who the people are that try to pour cold water on you. Cos they like their comfortable life. Make a decision to keep the fire burning. Listening to this guy is good. He is extreme! I find videos of Steve Hill and the Brownsville Revival to be helpful.
I actually call myself an extremist :D I hope you were greatly encouraged by in my eyes the rightfull, logical and bible-backed definition of a Christian extremist and I hope your sister comes to see how good it really is. :)
I always rejoice when people call me an extremist or fanatic that means I am still on the narrow path and not lukewarm. John the Baptist and Jesus were extremist! His death on the cross was an extreme act of love.
I am so blessed to have found your ministry. I have been walking with the Lord for nearly 50 rears and seem to winding down. What joy these teachings bring me for the sake of the next generation.
Thank you so much for sharing the gift of teaching you have. The one question that stuck out to me was about Paul's failed attempts to go to Rome. I have lived in fear of making the right decisions for many years even though I have been walking with the Lord for over 30 years now. This has been very insightful as I continue to grow in my walk and service unto my Lord. God Bless you brother Mike.
Loved this message. Thank you. Just left yet another “church” when discovering they were cessationists. So sad when the whole Word of God is not embraced and men think they can pick and choose which things they want to believe. The Lord is the Bread of Life! Feed heavily on His goodness and grace.
Psalm 133 explains what we found in a church we began attending about 2 months ago. There is a kind of unity there that can only be explained that way.
Pastor Mike, I really love & appreciate when you teach us words like hesed. More then just educational, when looked up I got long suffering, eternal, undeserved love from Jesus. It went straight to my heart, what a gift I have been given! And BTW, you are an awesome teacher. Definitely one of your spiritual gifts!
Dear mike. Your truth is so enlightening . I grew up a catholic in my youth and middle age years. All those enforced man made doctrines of the church rules made me totally nothing but a slave to the church and never felt god loved me. All the nuns and priests ever crammed into our minds is that this is a mortal sin and this is a venial sin and made us feel that if we committed as sin than god would PUNISH me . But if you confessed to a priest TAKING GODS PLACE ON EARTH the priest would absolve the sin. Then you had to earn your forgiveness by saying 5 OurFathers and five hail Mary's . All this control theory it's insane . You teaching GODS word not mans word has revealed who god is and his mercy and our unearned grace as his gift of salvation. God is our only savior jesus christ and the only mediator between man and god. I love going to my church which is not catholic now. I go now out of free will as a privilege Not out of forced scare tactics that if you dont go to rcc you will go to hell. I knew many catholics who used sunday mass and praying the rosary as your PUNISHMENT for being bad . Just like jesus said take my yoke upon you for it is unburdened . The laws will never save you. Thank you jesus my savior for your grace and forgiveness from YOU ONLY.
This was a really great hour Mike. I really enjoyed the topics. I love hearing about Jesus but I get the feeling most people get uneasy when called to walk in faith. I've had to leave old friends behind because opposite views. That being Jesus is real and not a fairytale. It always troubled me that close people in my life would suggest not to be too Christian like its fanatical. I find peace in sound doctrine. The video on Marriage has really helped humble me. My wife would thank you for it. Thanks Mike! May your ministry be blessed in Jesus.
58:15 "Let's say Hitler got saved..." We actually have a modern day example of this. There is a man named Joshua Blahyi who was a leader in one of the factions fighting in a civil war in Liberia in the 90's. He went by the moniker "General Butt Naked". You might think that's funny, but he was a viscous murderer as a fighter. He turned to Jesus during that time and has been seeking the forgiveness of those he hurt ever since. It's an incredible story.
Mike, take this as a compliment, not a personal attack, but your shirt kept making me think of a group of sith lords with their lightsabers activated. Anyway, great message as usual brother! Love it!
As usual, love your videos. Thank you for your time and effort into sharing the word of God, and the Lord Christ Jesus, may his spirit guide you and other brothers and sisters. God Bless.
You might want to revisit that moment, wherein you talk about extreme Hindus. Our siblings-in-Christ have been persecuted in India. They will tolerate whatever deity out there until you tell them that there is just one God and anything else is idolatry.
Hey Mike. So good to here you explain Matt. 7:33 to your viewers. It's one of the most abused and misquoted scriptures, especially by the Name-it-and-Claim-it faction that tries to use it to support materialistic prosperity by over broadening the term "all these things".
FYI: Deut 4:48 in both Greek and Hebrew says Hermon *_IS_* Mt Zion and it is translated such into English in all major translations "Mt Zion which is Hermon". AND the word ἐκκλησίας ( we translate it as "church" today but it means an "assembly") first appears in this chapter (4) of Deuteronomy as well, referring to the "Day of the Assembly" at Horeb (the day the children of Israel got the law from Moses! Same word Jesus uses about building His "church" is what God uses in gathering Israel at Horeb and He refers to this very specific "assembly" in Deut 9:10 and 18:16. These parallels get lost in the "Hebrew" which is why God gave us Greek for the first 1100y of Christianity.
About 13:00 minute mark...The key to the sacrifice of Christ is that He suffers eternally for us. He began suffering before Creation and will suffer forevermore. If this does not humble us, nothing will.
13:00 min mark is Mike preaching about Jesus' long-suffering love for us displayed on the Cross. Preacher Mike explains the phrase very well. It is not eternal suffering by Christ. It's His steadfast and dependable Love. Everything God has done for us is extremely humbling. We don't have to invent more misery for Him.
As an aside ...why would an All Powerful, All Knowing, All Loving, and All JUST Creator God make His creation In such a way that He Himself has to suffer eternally for fellowship with said creation? There's theological mismatch here that is not represented in Scripture.
I would love to hear a teaching from you about what I would consider Christian extremists (not real and positive Christian extremists like you’ve mentioned here.) Westboro Baptist Church for example, or people I’ve seen “preaching” around colleges claiming to be Christians, but instead spreading hate and misrepresenting God and the Bible. So many people that I know see Christians as hateful people that think they’re better than everyone else because of some of this misrepresentation. I would love to know how to reach those that claim to represent God, but instead are pushing people away from him.
Thank you Mike . My husband and I came to your study night a few months ago . And I put my email on the mailing list . I never got an email about where you were moving to . We really felt acceptance and love that night . And you are pretty good on the guitar. Much love , Ryan and Delana .
Because your teaching Mike blesses me I decided to go verse by verse through Romans with you. We are only up to verse 15 and I’m so much enjoying the teaching. Also, I’m blessed that you included the Q & A at the end...thank you!
Every time I listen to Mike. I think of Brandon Heath. Something about him either reminds me of his nature or maybe they should do a project together. Some connection.
Ask yourself what is the Resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous? Acts 24:15 .I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
Mike, I don't know if you will read this but you said that at 27:45 God had their lives planned out according to His will. How am I supposes to reconcile this with free will to make decisions? I understand God's omniscience but are you implying God made these plans for us? I'm listening to your teaching on Calvinism also.
I'm confused? Why do you say that the lake of fire is hell? I can not find any translation where the lake of fire is referred to as hell. Revelation 20:14 in the KJV Bible says that hell was cast into the lake of fire.
Melvin, i believe he said hell is the jail and the lake of fire is the final destruction sentence. So final destruction is at the end of the millennium right so hell's torment is not eternal in that sense is it. Not being with God is the final death, this second death that is mentioned also in Rev. With the way Mike put his videos out it is hard to find anything, try to find all of Romans on his channel, that said though, much of his understanding i got from reading scripture from an early age and now that i am retired, i want to check out my beliefs. I have never been to a church since I was a child of 10 and that was with the RC and it was too much in Latin, sitting standing reciting same thing each Sunday. There are some things we must assume because otherwise the bible may seem to counter dict. Future events and speculations are just that, educated guesses. Not to my understanding a salvation issue. Being ambassadors representing the Essence of God is taught through the Word of God and my main focus was on the red letter printing in my bible. Now i want to expand to the other books and Mike seems to be very knowledgeable in taking the bible as a whole and he is one of my #10 choices to listen to. I record and play back and i wished he would just have repeated the audience question, not just put on screen so i can listen to it again off line as i am in my garden or commuting to the city. 9 verses were covered in one hour. I have downloaded Romans of Matthew Henry's bible commentary to assist me to get more understanding and history I plan on reading them out-loud and recording those pages soon. In conclusion, i recall mike saying hell is temporary comparing it to jail but then also saying that there judgement is waited upon and then once all is said and done, hell death are no more. so in this case and only listening to the sermon as some would call it, It left me a bit confused as what he was relating. I will need to look if he has a talk on hell more clearly explained. some believe refusing a forever gift justifies a forever punishment, but then why the second death. not being with Our Lord and Savior is in itself a punishment as we humans take and put evil doers in prison separating them from freedom of choice and restricting their movements. when I think of my mother that had a heart of gold morally but did not attend church much at all and did not pursue the knowledge of Christ, was just a good person, more concerned with raising a family than with Christ teachings. What about good people that had every chance to pic up a bible but never did, as in her case?
I'm going through your study Mike and this is older, but I hope you could or someone with the knowledge to answer my question. How can we be content in Heaven with true joy with the father if someone we love rejects Christ and doesnt go to heaven. We will have our memories in heaven right? How can we be joyful knowing they are in hell for all of time? Thank you for your study! God be with you!
Mike, two more passages in the bible that seem to be describing purgatory are found in Malachi 3:2-3 and Zechariah 13:8-9. just FYI in case anyone asks again.
56:50 what if they then respond: well if God is a loving Father, where is His responsibility in teaching people? Why did He let people become so wicked? He gave us free will, but why doesn't He guide and teach people to be good? Sincr He CAN do it how is it not His fault that people turn out so wicked? If only He showed Himself as God and taught people we wouldn't have Hitlers and Zedongs. Isn't that His responsibility as an all-knowing and loving God? How do I respond to that?
Hi there! I know I'm not Mike, but I believe I can answer these questions. At least, I hope so. For the first question (if God is a loving Father, where is His responsibility in teaching people?), well, God gave us the Bible exactly for that purpose. 2 Timothy 3:16 says all Scripture is God-breathed, and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. Furthermore, He raises up Godly men and women in order to teach His church in the teachings according to the Scripture. For the second question (why did God let people become so wicked?), the answer is simply free will. If need be, I can dive deeper into that, but essentially, if God willed evil to not be possible, it will not be possible. No more evil - period. He can do that; He is omnipotent. That, though, would take away free will. Why? Well, the only choice left would be to love God. Is that truly love, though, if you are forced to do it? If I point a gun at someone's head, and ask them to marry me, would she do it out of love or compulsion? In the same sense, if God forces people to love Him and turn from their wicked ways, would it be love? Remove evil, and you remove love; for love cannot exist if there is no possibility to choose otherwise. Another look at the second question would be: why does He allow evil to exist in the world? Let's take it deeper. Why did God allow us to even continue existing? If God willed, He could have sent Adam, Eve, and all other humans (past, present, and future; He knows all that will happen, and surprise - we're all sinners) into Hell when sin entered the world through Adam and Eve. He did not, though. Why? Well, because He loves us. Ezekiel 18:23 and Ezekiel 33:11 tell us that God does not delight in the destruction of sinners. Instead, He wants them to turn from their wicked ways. In fact, to elaborate on that even further, 1 Timothy 2:3-4 reveals to us that God desires all men to be saved. In fact, He loves us all, that it is He, though He had no moral prerogative to do so, who gave us a way to be saved from our hellbound destiny. The Father sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to Earth. The Son, the promised Messiah, lived the perfect life we cannot, died the penalty that we should have suffered for our sins, was resurrected on the third day, ascended to Heaven and is now sitting at the right hand of the throne of God. The Father and the Son sent the Spirit to us that we may have comfort and help in living the life we've been called to live. Why do all this for sinners? One word - love. For the third question (why doesn't God guide and teach the people to be good?), I think I've already answered this in the previous questions. We have the Bible as our moral instruction book. We have the Holy Spirit, who Himself is God, and who enables us to live God-honoring lives. As for forcing people to be good, well, that again would be a violation of free will. We've dealt with the repercussions of that in question two. For the fourth question (since God can make people good, why is it not His fault that people become wicked?), well, He did not do evil. He Himself is holy. He is so holy that, in fact, in Isaiah 6:3, He is called "holy, holy, holy". In Hebrew, if you were to emphasize a word, you would repeat it. For example in English, it would be bright, brighter, brightest. In Hebrew, you would say bright, bright, bright. Holy, holy, holy would mean God is the most holy. He is super holy, to put it in other terms. Is He responsible for our sins? No, not in the slightest. We choose to sin, because we are fallen creatures. It is through us that sin entered into His perfect creation. God does not cause us to sin. James 1:13 says God tempts no one. Therefore, God does/did not sin (nor can He). Humans, with their free will, actively choose to sin. Finally, to answer your last question (If only He showed Himself as God and taught people we wouldn't have Hitlers and Zedongs. Isn't that His responsibility as an all-knowing and loving God?), well the first sentence is true. If God willed the world to be entirely perfect and good, it would be so, but it is not. So, why? Well, as I've answered in the previous questions, love. Love requires a choice. If you take away choice, there cannot be love. This world we live in is the only world where love can exist. Any other world is a world wherein we are robots, utterly devoid of choice. Furthermore, though, God does not owe us anything. Romans 8:7 says that the sinful nature is at war with God. We don't deserve anything. Prior to coming to Christ, we are rebels to God. He has no moral prerogative to save us from evil, and yet, He did. He planned the path to salvation, and continues to sustain us every day. It is by His grace that we get to live one more millisecond. It is by His grace that we have oxygen to breathe. It is by His grace that the Earth continues to revolve around the Sun. It is by His grace that meteors don't come crashing into the Earth. It is by His grace that our heart continues to pump blood. Everything we have is by His grace. We deserve nothing, and yet He gives us everything. Is that not love? There is Hell for humanity's Hitlers and Zedongs, and yet Christ died for them too. Truth is, all of us deserve Hell, for our sin is so offensive to a holy, holy, holy God. Romans 3:23 says all have sinned, and have fallen short of the glory of God. Yet, despite that, and despite having no obligation to save hellbound sinners such as us, He has offered us a gift of salvation: that whosoever believes in the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved. Romans 5:8 says, "But God proves His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." I hope I answered your questions in a satisfactory manner! Sorry for the length, I just get fired up sometimes haha. I hope that wasn't much of an impediment to reading, though. If anything was unclear, or if you have any further questions, please do ask, and I will try to answer to the best of the abilities that God has blessed me with. God bless, and keep fighting the good fight!
Upon further reflection on the last question, let me say this. God has shown Himself. Paul says in Romans 1 that God has revealed Himself. Creation testifies of a Creator. Man has the moral law written into his heart. In Romans 3, Paul even says that though Jews have had the advantage of receiving the oracles of God (that is to say His word and His laws), they were still unfaithful. We can see that a lot in the Old Testament. So, it's not a matter of God revealing Himself. He has revealed Himself - through His Word, through the conscience, and through creation. The problem is this: man is sinful, and his nature is fallen. Only through the regenerative power of the Holy Spirit, and the justification by faith in the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ can unregenerate sinners be turned into justified saints.
Didn't God go around telling "Israel" how to act. He sent them all kinds of Prophets and teachers (Moses, etc.) What were the 10 Commandments for? Also, in the New Testament,.people like The Apostle Paul tried to teach people how to behave. Read the first Chapter of Romans, etc....
Purgatory is very much Biblical :) Catechism of Catholic Church would be the best resource to check about what exactly the Catholic Church teaches ( based on Bible) as taught by Jesus Himslef and early Church Fathers who have direct word of mouth teaching by Apostles even before the Canon of Bible was put together. So one cannot ignore early Church teaching. Love your teachings brother. Thank you for your ministry. ♡
I believe God's good is better than we understand good. I trust the He is always better than we expect. I hope that his judgment is likewise. I certainly expect it, but I don't ultimately know. I think his punishment is perfect, like him. Humans imagine evil, but God does not have that in him. God will wipe away our tears. We will be conforted in our mourning. We think evil, God gives mercy and appropriate judgement.
What exactly does it mean to be a Christian Extremist? Wouldn't that be following him and walking as he did to the point where people don't see you anymore they just see him? Please tell me how the Christian Church is the example to follow in regards to that? From my understanding of Christianity's definition of holiness and what it means to walk the path of righteousness it is quite different than what the Bible says.
Jesus Is The Torah he describes in the video that a Christian extremist means to be the most loving, the most serving, the most self sacrificing, to not take revenge, to not steal, to not hate, etc
How could a teacher be judged more harshly if that teacher is in Christ and so is saved from condemnation? Does it refer to false teachers? If a teacher who loved God said something wrong that was quite minor, could they still lose their salvation for teaching falsely and being judged more harshly for it?
Spiritual gifts test. Do you think Jesus gave his disciples a spiritual gifts test before choosing them? I suspect he just chose them, told them what to do then filled them with the Holy Spirit so they could do it. Easy.
58:48 Hitler and Saul /Paul have great similarities in having such a bad past but Paul having a great future. I totally agree with you about wanting Hitler saved. It would have glorified GOD greatly if this had happened. When I had the car accident in 1991, the 23 year old that hit me on his motorcycle, was killed. I pray that he had a 'death bed confession'.
This is great! Thank you for posting your sermons! At some point you mentioned in another sermon teaching about conscience. What's the name of that video? Can't find. Thanks 😊🙏
Does this mean the Levites are an image of the saints? If the Levites were a group set apart and provided for by the church, and the Saints are the people set apart provided everlasting life ultimately by God, then this the Levites could be an image of the saints. Not that this is very important, just curious to see if I'm just seeing patterns.
Isn't saying that having a temporary jail cell is the same idea as purgatory? In regard to Sheol isn't that just the state of being dead, since it means grave, or land of the dead (not in the context of having an existence in the land of the dead, just a state of deathly sleep), until the time of resurrection and judgment? Mathew 24?
I am wondering your stance on people that prefer to use pronouns other than what they are biologically assigned? Do we call them by their pronoun or preferred name or is that unbiblical ? I come across this often at my job?
Mike has a weekly Q+A session. Maybe you could tune in and try and ask your question there. I say try because he only takes 20 questions per week and it's the first 20 that are selected from the live chat. I think it's every Friday. Hope this helps a little.
I think I would call them what they ARE! If it was a lady, I would say "her" or "she," etc. This is just my personal opinion....I would not call any single person "they."
Lovingly I think I would just learn their names. But reading revelation…our “tolerance”. Of their sins or our own…is a sure sign we don’t know the savior and care more for this world than the next…hope that helps…praying for you…it’s a crazy demonic liberal trash heap we’re rushing into!
Hades is the pit/grave/death. Its the greek equivalent to the Hebrew words Sheol/Maveth. Hades (biblically) is not a place where some go and not others. We are not judged at the point of death. We are sealed for the day of judgment, meaning what's bound is bound, what's loosed is loosed. If one says otherwise, they contradict the scriptures. Judgment for ALL will take place as mentioned in Revelation 20 and Daniel. "And many of those who SLEEP in the DUST of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt." Daniel 12:2 We are all asleep, awaiting the day we will be awakened to stand before our maker. "No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man." John 3:13 Hades is death, and it's thrown into the lake of fire aka as the Greek say hell. John is referring back to Isaiah 25:8. I think you've answered many questions about where purgatory came from and where Christians have kept the idea even if it's not called purgatory. Just Google what the Greek mindset/beliefs behind Hades: Although Hades was the God of the Underworld and the Dead, he was not the God of Death, as many people falsely believe. ... Hades was basically a way for the Greeks to come to terms with the idea of Death and Afterlife. He was more like the continuation of life, “housing” in a way the souls once the bodies died. It's important to go back to the foundation, the Torah and prophets. We can't have the NT contradicting or adding/ taking way from the foundation (Torah/prophets), otherwise it's not truth.
48:09 Gandhi said Jesus I love, it's the Christians I hate. I totally get that statement because the religious English were the only representation of JESUS that he had.
While expressing good actions and concepts into extremism will get you on God's side, doing bad actions and concepts like punching a person or forcibly changing someone will make God intolerant. Early Christian-dom was the result of bad planning and INSANELY held grudges.
When Christians die they go to Paradise in the center of the earth where all of God's people are. Just like Lazarus did and the repentant thief crucified next to the Lord. Paradise is full of the Lord's presence, but He is not physically there. From there, all believers will be resurrected at the unveiling of Christ in His second coming.
That is the weirdest thing I have ever heard. The Bible says "Absent from the body, present with the Lord (Jesus)".Jesus is seated at the right hand of God." He is not in the middle of the earth....
@@caroleimani9754 Yes, it sounds weird because tradition has taught otherwise for centuries, but that is not what the Bible teaches. "Present with the Lord" does not have to mean physically. 2 Cor. 13:5 says, "...can’t you see for yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you?"...Surely Christ is in us, but not physically. Also Paul says in 2 Tim. 4:22 "The Lord be with your spirit....". Surely He is not with our spirit physically. Jesus is physically seated at the right hand of God, yes, but He is not physically in us, nor physically with our spirit, and He is not physically in Paradise, but His presence is there. All of the dead saints are in Paradise, without a physical body. They are resting, waiting to be resurrected and clothed with a body.

What a wonderful and excellent thing to be accused of! Congratulations! I feel the same. 🥰🙌🏼
I enjoy this channel as well. Also, I recommend Andy Woods (pastor/teacher, Sugarland Bible Church) on UA-cam. He teaches thoroughly, in great depth.
got accused for the same thing hahah how wonderful is to be worthy of being mocked for the glory of the Lord.
My husband does this to me constantly.
He is convicted amd rebellious to God and a violent amd abusive alcoholic.
Of course he will say this.

"If I don't feel loved by God, my feelings are stupid." Man this is something that I needed to hear today. Thank you God for your Holy Bible and for calling wonderful teachers like Mike
58:38 Corrie Ten Boom met the guy that killed her family. He became a CHRISTian. Praise GOD.
i was just praying about this today, I dont feel loved from God but they are just feelings!
A good measure or test of an ideology is how good it is in its extreme. Something good in its extreme is extremely good.

I found this message just in time. This very morning my sister called me an extremist. I was so hurt by it. Thank you so much for this message.
She actually gave you an extreme compliment & didn’t even realize it!
Be extreme 💪
I wish I could go to your church. Thank you for teaching the truth, me and my husband are very great full. God bless you and your family.
So helpful, Pastor Mike. Thanks and God bless you and your family.
I so appreciate verse by verse studies! Thank you, Mike!
I am so blessed to have found your ministry. I have been walking with the Lord for nearly 50 rears and seem to winding down. What joy these teachings bring me for the sake of the next generation.
I'm so thankful for this series!
I've learned so much already!
Thank you, this was very edifying.
Prayers for you

I go now out of free will as a privilege
Not out of forced scare tactics that if you dont go to rcc you will go to hell. I knew many catholics who used sunday mass and praying the rosary as your PUNISHMENT for being bad . Just like jesus said take my yoke upon you for it is unburdened . The laws will never save you. Thank you jesus my savior for your grace and forgiveness from YOU ONLY.
"Just keep it in it's rightful place" 😄 18:47
Thank you for this video.
+Mike B so awesome! Praise the Lord!
Thanks for this Pastor Mike!
This was beautiful thank you!! I've been searching for direction I know I must honor the lord in anything I do!!
Love it!
Thank you Mike!
Does everyone know that Mike is singing and playing guitar at the end. Beautiful
I pray i meet you MIKE WINGER
As usual, love your videos. Thank you for your time and effort into sharing the word of God, and the Lord Christ Jesus, may his spirit guide you and other brothers and sisters. God Bless.
Great message today brother Mike. God Bless!
+G Heaven thank you!
Great explanation of heavens!!!!
Can you make more of these?? That would be amazing please???
FYI: Deut 4:48 in both Greek and Hebrew says Hermon *_IS_* Mt Zion and it is translated such into English in all major translations
"Mt Zion which is Hermon".
Where does it say eternal suffering?
Just making it up.
I study the book of Romans every 8pm and you are the teacher😅
Your sermons are so good. Thank you for posting them.
Because your teaching Mike blesses me I decided to go verse by verse through Romans with you. We are only up to verse 15 and I’m so much enjoying the teaching. Also, I’m blessed that you included the Q & A at the end...thank you!
Thanks, Pastor Mike, for this video series. It's been a major help in my own personal discipleship and spiritual growth.
Every time I listen to Mike. I think of Brandon Heath. Something about him either reminds me of his nature or maybe they should do a project together. Some connection.
Ask yourself what is the Resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous?
Acts 24:15
.I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
Mike, I don't know if you will read this but you said that at 27:45 God had their lives planned out according to His will. How am I supposes to reconcile this with free will to make decisions? I understand God's omniscience but are you implying God made these plans for us? I'm listening to your teaching on Calvinism also.
i like your videos mike
+Dc pacman thank you!
Hey 👋 what translation is Sir using?
Thank you 😊
At this point in this series he’s using NKJV. But today he usually uses ESV
So deep and applicable! Thank you.
Thank you 11:00 min. in I messaged you on this topic. God Bless you
The Q&A session really blessed me. Please include them in more videos. God bless you Mike.
John 7:7,16 - suffer for right - like Jesus >>>> 2 Timothy 4:2 Preach; declare like Jesus, and suffer like Jesus.
Did you cover the “Catholic tradition” in your outline? Maybe the next video 😊
Romans 5:8 says, "But God proves His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
I hope I answered your questions in a satisfactory manner!
Ephesians 4:7-16 fits well in with what Paul says in verse 11. Correct me if im wrong brothers and sisters. God bless you all
I am "addicted" to this. It is making the bible so much more clear. GOD be with you.
Hi Mike - whereabouts in the Bible does it explain about the differing levels of judgement? Like Gandhi and Hitler?
Where does this song at the end come from. It’s been going through my head since I started listening to these! And other MW videos.
Not sure, you could use Siri to find it maybe. Ask her what song it is then let the phone hear.
Great as always, Mike! Thank you brother!
Also...You're 38?? All this time I thought you're late 20s. Clean living, I suppose :P
thank you Mike, this was great
💖🙏💖🙏💖🙏💖
Christain extremist Catholics included or not? what about Christian baptist or extremist methodist etc?
Can u please do research on the voice translation bible?
Interesting when people go from jail to prison the prisoners tend to call it "getting sent up". Lol, it seems to fit Mike's analogy.
Easy.
Because he’s Jesus( and knew their inmost being) he already knew what they excelled in.
Amen
Who sings the song at the end of the video?
24:30 oh man that cereal story had me dying!!
Definitely gift of teaching or so it would seem.
44:05 PURgatory, as in PURGE, get rid of dirt (sin), be cleansed.
What
58:48 Hitler and Saul /Paul have great similarities in having such a bad past but Paul having a great future. I totally agree with you about wanting Hitler saved. It would have glorified GOD greatly if this had happened. When I had the car accident in 1991, the 23 year old that hit me on his motorcycle, was killed. I pray that he had a 'death bed confession'.
in Catholicism, purgatory is a painful cleansing for souls who are destined for heaven, not hell
So?
This is great! Thank you for posting your sermons! At some point you mentioned in another sermon teaching about conscience. What's the name of that video? Can't find. Thanks 😊🙏
Why don't we believe in Hindu gods?
Does this mean the Levites are an image of the saints? If the Levites were a group set apart and provided for by the church, and the Saints are the people set apart provided everlasting life ultimately by God, then this the Levites could be an image of the saints. Not that this is very important, just curious to see if I'm just seeing patterns.
According to the History Channel, the etymology of Barbarians means to stammer or babble, to create a guttural or intelligible sound.
Mathew 24?
You still there?
So what if I don’t think I’m very good at anything? I’m just an average joe I guess.
I don’t know, maybe just be kind to people to glorify God.
If you WERE, in fact a sumo wrestler, you surely would be well... rounded. I'm sorry, I couldn't resist...
Excellent teaching brother.
That's so funny, I forgot to laugh...
Hey
yea i have been texting you
20:00
Yep that was good
Concordsnce
Hades is the pit/grave/death. Its the greek equivalent to the Hebrew words Sheol/Maveth.
Hades (biblically) is not a place where some go and not others. We are not judged at the point of death. We are sealed for the day of judgment, meaning what's bound is bound, what's loosed is loosed. If one says otherwise, they contradict the scriptures. Judgment for ALL will take place as mentioned in Revelation 20 and Daniel.
"And many of those who SLEEP in the DUST of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt." Daniel 12:2
We are all asleep, awaiting the day we will be awakened to stand before our maker.
"No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man."
John 3:13
Hades is death, and it's thrown into the lake of fire aka as the Greek say hell. John is referring back to Isaiah 25:8.
I think you've answered many questions about where purgatory came from and where Christians have kept the idea even if it's not called purgatory. Just Google what the Greek mindset/beliefs behind Hades:
Although Hades was the God of the Underworld and the Dead, he was not the God of Death, as many people falsely believe.
AMEN...THANK YOU FOR BRINGING THIS POINT OUT. HADES IS DEATH! THE DEAD SLEEP UNTIL THE TIME OF JUDGEMENT BEGINS.
hi
+Dc pacman hello!
NOT PERGATORY, BUT PURGATORY (SPELLING MISTAKE ON THE SCREEN)
