  • Here I show you how to fit PIR insulation and foam fix it in place.
I’ll also get some plaster boarding done with extra OSB support for a tv bracket 👍

Haha not at all. I actually wish they were longer. You do a brilliant job Steve. I’m using your methods to do my own build. I have watched Liam as well but it’s great to see you back doing garden rooms 😊🖖

At a 50mm PIR insulation, you can cut with sharp blade & break to get a nice edge without any dust. Over 50mm it doesn't work well, but 50mm can be good to do this. If you want to use your "circular saw", you should wear a mask at least because of the spreading and flying plastic particulars can get into your lungs and stuck there forever. Cutting wood is harmless, cutting plastics - PIR is plastic - not so dangerious, but not harmless.
But generally, if you cut anything, use hoover and mask. They won't hurt and can protect your health. I know, it is much cooler and faster not to use them. But being cool is mostly unhealthy.

This why UK has the poor insulated houses in Europe UK is full of incompetent builders just look how much thermals bridging in that building if you would design it to put the pir outside before the osb you would have a good insulated building you still don't get it your brain thinking was when I said put the pir before osb you need somewhere the pir to sit against 😂😂😂😂😂

You clearly don’t understand the link between the UK permitted development rights and height restrictions vs warm roof, cold roof, or hybrid roof. What you tried to explain, clearly not being able to name it, was a warm roof. An OSB, PIR, OSB ‘sandwich’ roof a waterproofing layer on top like rubber, etc. Great in practice, and great if you want to pay out for planning permission to go over the 2.5m height regulation. Now apply that to a PDR build, and if you went warm roof you’d be banging your head on the internal ceiling. Clearly your brain isn’t engaging with the limitations vs the best solution 🤦‍♂️ And who has a go at free content on UA-cam! 🤡
