Yes please a sew along! That Japanese fabric is amazing, can't wait to see how it works up. I'd also love a behind-the-scenes with V8379, it looks like a fun project and I'll take all the help I can get ( I've watched your fleece jacket video too many times to count.) More sewing!
I hope you will keep sewing with the big 4 patterns still as you get more into Indie patterns. I also love that not all of your Big 4 patternns you sew with on the channel are new. Your channel is fun and I enjoy watching.
I like indie patterns, but they are expensive. Which means I feel the need to trace them instead of cut them. That’s why the big 4 will always be in rotation. I buy them on sale ( or did in the past). And I can get a quick sewing fix using them. No worries 😉 and thanks for watching.
Hey Toni, Just watched!! and Loving your sewing plans for 2024, Thankyou for the shout out & I'm hoping there's enough interest for a sew along with the New Look 6263 pattern. Have a great day, Cheers Alison
I’m working slowly through the process of learning pattern drafting through UA-cam and books, so I’m always interested in that. It’s completely wrong that your school failed you in that way. That should have been the bare minimum that you would have been taught. Looking forward to seeing you use your beautiful fabric.
I recently took a draping course and was shocked at how much I learned in two hours because it wasn’t covered in my semester long course. My professor said the reason we used pattern blocks instead of drafting our own was because the text book was wrong. Why were we using that book?!? Totally crazy in hindsight. But I’m looking forward on drafting a skirt block that fits perfectly.
I also vote for a sew-a-long for N6263 since I already own that pattern, and the neckline looks somewhat complicated. I own that book too because I love wearing skirts, and that book has a lot of cute ones. I haven't made one yet though. I have soo many patterns and too little time to sew them up.
Excellent! Glad to hear you’re in for the sew along. You’re the first viewer to comment on the book, so thanks for letting me know ☺️ I have a lot more patterns (and fabric) than I have time to sew too. I’m trying to change that in 2024!
Thank you. I actually thought of more things I want to see after I finished my video 🤣 You sew can make your 4 too!! Just start and little by little each of them will get sew up ❤️
I just had an issue with a simple Butterick pattern for a baby bag sleeper with front zipper. I had to redesign it to get it to work. Finished now and ready to give to my niece for her new baby. No more Butterick patterns for me.
Yes, I like to make my own patterns. 👍
I like Indie patterns too.a
I like making my own patterns too but time is always a constraint since I work full time.
Great plans! Yes, to a sew-along. I wouldn't participate in the NL6263, but I would watch the bound buttonholes and others you may do.
Thanks for letting me know!
Black is a wise choice for hosting the channel.
Thanks Leigh. You can attest to how much color I wear on a daily basis 🤣
New Look 6263 sew along....yes, please! I have this pattern and would love to make it up. It's so cute 😍
Yay! Glad to hear that you’re in 🙌

"Wearable art." Love that
Aww thanks. That’s really how I view my clothes ❤️
More Sewing!!!! Yes Toni!😅
For all of us Zelda! Let’s see all the fabric 🤣

Don’t worry, I’ve got a good feeling it’s going to happen 😉 thanks for sharing your idea ❤️
A sew along for NL6263 would be great . I have this pattern, but have been hesitant to make.
Glad to hear that you’d be interested in a sew along too! I just ordered the pattern since it wasn’t available at my local store.

Bound buttonholes and sew along would be great. Not live since I sew slowly 😅
I thought about that after the fact- not that I sew fast, but it might be hard for viewers to keep the same pace.

That's how I feel too! The sizing for their clothing seems off.
Hi Toni, can you recommend a good pattern for Tee shirts, please
I have yet to find one that works every time. But when I do, I’ll let you know 😉
Many thanks
@@davederrick9431 you are welcome! I’m always in the look out for a good t-shirt pattern. Fingers crossed I find one this year.
My half price did not have it on hand so i ordered it
It's a great reference book! I'm constantly using mine. I know you will love it!
