Became interested in LACoFD back in the day from a TV show and it wasn't "Emergency" , it was "Rescue 8" . I would go into our garage and climb up into the rafters and act like I'm saving somebody. I was 7 years old. Now my son is LAcoFD station 167 and he's living my dream of being a fireman.
One fascinating fact in that although the characters in *Emergency!* were fictional, it was based on true stories of emergency calls, rescues, car accidents and fires.
Jim Page of Rescue 11 was the inspiration for the character Johnny Gage in "Emergency!" Bob Cinader & Jack Webb wanted to use Page's name in the show, but Page told them if they did, he would be fired. So, they created John Gage for Randolph Mantooth's character.

A decir verdad, la Unidad de Rescate Paramédico 51 y las dos Autobombas 51 de la teleserie ¡Emergencia! son los camiones bomberiles que más se roban el show dentro del Museo Bomberil del Condado de Los Ángeles.
Oh well that is not good. Too bad, you did a great job with these things. I hope things worked out for the better though in your new endeavour. But you have a lot of new content being posted, even one today. I am confused.

One thing I liked of FF/PM John Roderick (Johnny) Gage best was his incredible sense of humor. 😄

Where are the Rampart General Hospital's (Harbor/UCLA Medical Center's) ambulances used in TV's Emergency! anyhow?
Believe they were private as they are now. Not part of LAC fire.
