Same here. Alas, Star Wars canon seems to make ideas like that virtually impossible. I would personally like to see a standalone Jedi story after the Clome Wars. BUT, Order 66 means that they all have to either be dead, in hiding, or somehow outside of the Empire's control. It kills a lot of potential outright.

Anakin Skywalker/Vader is truly the most tragic character in cinema history. His whole life he was essentially owned by different people. First Watto, then the Jedi order, then Palpatine. His pain grows when you consider the fact that he literally lost everything he ever cared about, including his mother and his wife, which led him to the dark side of the Force. He was subject to endless pain and suffering once he was under the Emperor, and he was finally free once he was redeemed and passed into the cosmic force.

I’m good. I don’t need a live action story where we see no character development for vader. Vader character from end of revenge of sith to beginning of new hope is pretty much the same. So we know there isn’t really a character development.
5:30 I am not sure if that's actually Watto? His skin was shown to be completely gray while Watto is blue unless his species have aged to change color for 20 years like that? I'm kinda think it's definitely not Watto since I do remember that some species don't change color while they age similar to like Yoda's Species when Grogu was still green like Yoda and the Hutts such as Rotta the Hutt still has the same color as his father, Jabba the Hutt.
Could've just been mood lighting, cause it's a Vader comic and it's a death scene, Vaders whole mood is darkness. And I mean come on, the writers make it how they want. It's not like it would be the real world, where it "could" be watto. Also Vader would have the ability to search with the force on where watto is.
