Mk Armageddon on the ps2 has been a big part of my childhood.
The Xbox and PS2 versions are mostly identical, except the Xbox version looks and sounds a bit crisper and it also allows 4 players in Motor Kombat as opposed to just 2 in the PS2 version. The Wii port, which was released sometime after the other versions, does include a few extras like a new character, a new mode, and new stages, but at the cost of 1 extra slot on Kreate a Fighter, which means that you can only have 1 custom fighter. This is a strange omission, considering that it’s just 1 slot, so it’s a mystery why the Wii version prohibits 2 different custom characters in a match.
I thought you could have several custom fighters in the wii version. You just had to make a different profile for each one. In the main menu, you can input a button combination to use a profile which has its own story mode save and custom character. I remember having around 4 custom characters on 4 different profiles.

@@revenge1205yup, I just did a few Days ago playing with some friends, we made a Goku and ghost rider custom characters, and we played some matches

@@revenge1205the reason why there is only one slot for kreate a fighter in the Wii version is that if you look on the select screen in the Wii version khameleon is on it instead having another kreate a fighter which is weird meaning that she is only exclusive and playable in the Wii version
Armageddon is my favorite MK game! The PS2 version will always be my favorite! I actually have the world record speedrun on that version!
Xbox looks sharp in 720p but has a purple-ish filter on it. Seems to happen often on Xbox with black crush.

Even so, the PS2 version is practically the same as all the others... and for that reason it has my respect, showing that it could still offer quality despite the time.

The Wii version of Armageddon has a new motion-based control system, along with compatibility with the classic and GameCube controllers. It has a new Endurance Mode, a Wii Remote Training Mode, new menu screens, and Khameleon (secret character from the N64 Trilogy)
The Xbox version has a weird redish gamma , even the snow is not properly white.

Would be nice to play this game on my ps5 if it was on ps4 but looks like it’s from a modded ps4 I used to play MK Armageddon back in the late 2000s on the PS2 and Wii i haven’t played the OG Xbox version before
deception and armageddon are backward compatible with xbox 360, how strange that you didn't place what they look like there like you did with deadly alliance

I grew up as a forced PlayStation kid. I bought an OG Xbox as the Xbox 360 was 4 years old. Betraying my family, they all realized that some certain games just performed better on certain systems they were built for or allowed more. Plus Xbox allowed you to use your own music from CD's in game. Sick 🤙🏼

i've watched maybe 5 comparisons and none of them give proper justice to any version. PS2 looks amazing through retrotink, as well as other versions, here it looks like a camera was pointed at TV to film it lol. Better refrain from doing any comparison videos if you dont have a good capture card. PS2 version also has widescreen with progressive support in the settings, so you could enable that but you didn't
