As a fellow athlete, i am so glad that i was alive to see this historic event. For somebody, who can remember the days when i could run a 4 min 33mile, its only then that you appreciate what Kipchoge did. I did it all the way back in 1988, on the athletics track in Newport, South Wales, and blimey it felt fast. Running a 44k Marathon at a similar pace, almost unimaginable.
