They should sell grown in Ghana fruits to help out the local farmers. After all its the Ghana people that shop in their supermarket.
Supermarket are for rich ghanains and foreigners, not for the local farmers. Moreover the price they buy it, it s so low that it will ruined the little local farmer. If you want to support local farmer, buy on the market or small shops.
Agree
They have Ghanaian suppliers as well.
I never shop in these supermarkets for many reasons: they are all NOT made in Ghana and are all filled with GMO. Also I prefer to support my locals and want to live a long healthy life.
sunny days like I said, I prefer to support the women that are out there in the sun all day to support their children through school so miss me with the 5% that have the opportunity to get there goods in the supermarket
Stop being Jealous because you can't afford to buy from supermarkets in Ghana. How did you know about GMO's in food? Too known!
To your information these Supermarkets you don't support also employ Ghanaians who have families to support just like the market women. Smdh!
Leonard Grant umm I can definitely afford to shop anywhere in Ghana but why pay a hefty price for food made in China when I can get real authentic right from the farm. Sweety People here in America pay a hefty price for organic foods like we have in Ghana but ignorant, uneducated people like yourself would rather patronize these “ supermarkets” be well sweety!
@@janicesorhaindo2990. This ignorant and uneducated me was born and raised in the United States.
Only the uneducated and ignorant like yourself will go to a tropical country like Ghana and buy items that are suppose to not be in the sun
And the unhygienic way it is handled. Why do you think that 5% you said buys from the supermarkets does? They have travelled and are not ignorant but educated. School yourself about reality. Smdh!
Leonard Grant again young lady, if you are Ghanian, your parents ate from these “unhygienic” markets and lived long enough to have you. Sweety I’m over 40 also born and raised in New York and when I go back HOME I still patronize these markets. Be blessed young lady
Honestly your videos are so addictive! My wife and I Can’t wait to visit Ghana, love from Alaska 💕
When I used to live in Ghana I would go to Shoprite for the aircon! haha but some of the imported foods like yoghurt were so expensive! market food is the best!
😂😂😂😂😂 you're not alone. I go there for the aircon too😫😫
😂😂

Good information about the prices in Ghana. It's seems that life in Ghana is quiet and good.👍👍👌👌😊😊
Very nice supermarket but I prefer the local market not because of price wise but because most of the food stuff in the supermarket are processed...natural stuff is the best 😊
Can’t wait to see ur vids!🖤
Im so happy to find your channel. I'm in America but have several online friends in Accra, Ghana. Seeing the scenery on your drives is interesting & educational. The price conversions have many products being sold for the same price we pay. A few items were cheaper there.
Great job sis. Thanks for sharing everything. Doing the converting of money is my favorite and when you cook. Y'all are so fine.lol
Brilliant price comparisons. I have always felt guilty buying in the Malls. Thanks for highlighting this sheer levels of pricing difference. I would love to see more videos like this, and I will focus on buying local more. Thanks for your efforts. I am sharing your vids with my boys, and their boys boys across the diaspora.
Natural Hair! Looks amazing!!!
Am happy with you guys because of the good decision which you take as Ghanaians May almighty God straight you with your vision
You look SO MUCH BETTER without the wig honestly! You're an Afrikan Queen ... wear your crown with pride!
Lol this is true! I just get lazy hence the wig x
welcome back from Australia to the motherland Africa, Ghana to be precise, l love that nice bountiful natural hair, and please eat local and avoid those substandard food, you're on the best continent full of natural goodness, that's all we need, I can't wait to come home to dive into all those goodies, stay strong up sis, love it, please keep promoting our natural and beautiful unique hair
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Very insightful 👍🏾
Thanks for sharing. This was very informative as usual.
Anytime xx
Hey, like your channel. Was wondering if you thought of maybe doing some tutorials on your skin care line. Perhaps showing how you use and apply the products you sell. I think if you devote some time to that, your sells would skyrocket 🤞, just my two cents.
I have a channel for this. Link in description box xx
I am catching up with your videos. As usual I enjoy.
I love your videos! I was supposed to return to Ghana in May, but the pandemic ruined that. I'm hoping I can come in August! And Ayisha is getting better...she said subscribe without hiding...LOL I do prefer shopping at the local markets because it's cheaper, but at ShopRite I can get certain sausage that I can't find at the market.
I like that you take care of your granny. Some prices are just too high no matter where you buy them. Your cousin is your twin. ❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸
You are so lucky to have been able to go home. You look happy and healthy.
I LIKE THE "FOLLOW YOUR BLISS, DI3N NA EMBA DA" SAYING, SO AM GOING TO WRITE IT ON MY TROTRO WHEN I BUY ONE, ON MY REPATRIATION HOME TO GHANA. WELL, YOUR VIDEOS ARE INFORMATIVE, GREAT AND ENJOYABLE TO WATCH.

Fascinating. Prices aren't very expensive, even for a supermarket. But you didn't buy any meat, and that's where you get hit. Loved the vlog!

I like the body of your work, the prices appear to be similar in most places. Keep your head up.

Two beautiful women! Thanks for sharing your shopping experience.

PhArAoH KhAfrA PyRaMiD yes unfortunately for me i only had two weeks vacation at the time. It was amazing tho my friend whom I went with is friends with Isaac Tetteh. He invited us to Sunday brunch at the Golden Tulip and it was amazing! He is a wonderful guy and everyone there made me feel at home. I also visited the Cape Coast Castle. That was an experience I will NEVER forget! Your country is beautiful and I hope to visit again!

Aaawwhh save journey! I hope you enjoy the motherland
Please make a video of the local outside markets were the village people shop👍🏾
Convertion is $10.99 in usd from cedis but you have to realize everything is mostly shipped to west Africa from Europe or Africa the spices and condiments and other foods so that why expensive
My favorite chocolate ever Lindor truffle 😋😋😋
Great video and pricing 👍🏾
I live in Madagascar and of the three large supermarkets (Shoprite, Leader Price, and Score), Shoprite is my fave. And cheap
Hello! I enjoy your videos. You may have addressed this question, but when you convert cedis to $, is that Australian or US dollars?
EeLLss US x
I'm definitely going to the local market when i come lol..
Amazing super market
Thank you for this video, it was very informative. I have a friend I sent $20 usd, she lives in Berekum, Ghana. She said I sent enough for her to buy food.
Teared up when she kept saying follow your bliss.,
Why do I have a feeling I'll bump into you somewhere one of these days?😀😀
I can't wait💃💃💃
That will be lovely xx
@@JasmineAmaa very👍

@@ronnie9953 wow that's a lot of money in our currency

This was really helpful will like to see more like oil, rice tomato paste I really will like to see if I will survive living in ghana
Looks great
THANKU!!!
Who was in a rush to watch this video
Eei this market diɛ, rich people market paaa oo but all the same it's good that you can find things you missed from abroad there.
Haha yesoo xx
I think I’m the only person who doesn’t like Shoprite. When i come to Ghana i used to go to Citidia which is even worse in terms of quality lol. Then i discovered A&E supermarket which has quite a few British products so i spent all my money there. I recently discovered Maxi Mart or (something like that) have a ton of British and other foreign products so i’ll definitely be checking that place out when I come to Ghana.
Great video☺️🙌🏾
Max mart is great. Never heard of citidia though ❤️
Hi Again, I love your stuff, I was hoping if you could price in British Pound Sterling. also, where is the most economic location to live, in Accra, different incomes? last question where is the business and manufacturing district of Accra
Id say accra newtown area as a lot is made in that area. The more u move away from osu, cantoments and east legon area, the more affordable it becomes. Id bear the currency conversion in mind for future xx
Manufacturing district are called industrial area. One is at North Kaneshie and one is at Tema. Then the business district from circle to Accra Central. Then we have the Airport city which also houses the headquarters of several businesses, Nestle, Bosch and hotels too etc.....
Very good info....
I’m from Germany, so where the chocolate is from you mentioned, it’s a large package and also for German prices it’s more on the luxurious / treat side or occasions. But I would say it’s maybe only 25% more expensive for what it’s being sold here.
