The fact that we’re all still obsessed with a car from the 80s says it all doesn’t it?!? Love it great video! Running the standard 3 diff setup or the torque splitter? Wonder on the surface which would be better - seems like you get great traction so maybe the 3 diff setup is best 🤷♂️
Yes, because each of them has a unique design and style which we can't find from any modern buggies. And my car is running with the torque splitter as well as ball differentials.
@@sooyoun30 I enjoyed your video. I only wish I had bought one when I have the chance years ago. Now I can only get enjoyment through watching videos like yours
Tried it with a 13.5t LRP and a 10.5 LRP Stockspec without issue. Only real problem is that the balls in the ballends of the upperlinks wear like crazy. It’s also a tad oversteered on high-grip surfaces. Fixed that with thicker oil in the front shocks. 450cpt, If I remember correctly.
Finally a Avante that's not a shelf queen
Sure. Of course!. Avante is an excellent driving machine.
excellent photography, the depth at 1:08 front shot the best
Thank you!!

@@JayTeeRC Oh! I believe you still can buy one of them since Tamiya released many vintage buggies occasionally.

I think A-Main still has some lying around.

Amazing slow-mo sections!! Do you think that a Transpeed 6.5T could be a problem for the mechanic?
Thanks and wow! 6.5T? Hmmm... I think 6.5T can be too much overpowered for the vintage buggy.
I have run a 6.5 T in my Egress re re since release, no problem at all........
It had flaws in 88 but dam it’s a good looking buggy
Yeah but it seems like there is an improvement.
it handles pretty well on flat ground, you dont have to worry about bump steer when theres no bumps.
Beautiful car, still looks modern even today. So wish I could have one lol. How does it drive compared to Egresss ?
Egress seems to be more aggressive and sensitive compared to Avante. It's hard to say which one is better than the other tho.

That's an awesome tip! Thanks!
Why couldn’t it? All depends on the driver. I’ve seen gears stripped with a 21T brushed..
Are you going to get the TD-4 super avante?
I haven't decided it yet. Hehe~! :D
Seems like its faster then the Top Force Evo, right?
Not sure but it can be. Wish I could play both cars at the same time. 😌
I'd like to see a GPS to find out what its top speed.
Yeah. I was thinking about that. There is a very compact and portable size of them.
