And then I spotted the dragonfly, nature's most formidable predator, achieves a kill-rate of 90-95%. They have 360° vision, their heads are on a swivel, their eyes have receptors for bright, medium , and dim light. Their wings have direct individual muscle control, and they can fly in 6 directions, hover, and glide (notice the Oxford comma). And they're great companions while on walks during mosquito season. I once was surrounded for 15-20 minutes on a short stroll by a swampy area. Not one mosquito got me. There was a dome of dragonflies around me. There are toads in my garden and there's one in my basement, probably chasing the crickets. Always an adventure. Most glad the oracle guided me to this album.
Magical. Have listened to this whilst painting many times. Perfectly captures the mossy & twisted trees of the woodland where I live on misty, autumnal days.
✨🎼This music helps to keep humanity's connection to the etheric realms. The elemental realms. The higher dimensional experiences that many of us have had(will have again and are having currently from a broader dimensional perspective) and have such a difficult time remembering and reconnecting to throughout a incarnate experience that offers a lens of such dense perspective viewing. Thank you for offering your creation in service of expansion for all to connect to. Love and Blessings...✨🙏💓
I'm in love with the overall sound of this album, the droning wavy synths are exactly the kind of feeling I've been looking for in dungeon synth. It really gives me a "natural" adventurous feeling that I haven't been able to get from very much music. I have a set few ambient artists that I listen to for walks and kayaking trips such as Voyage Futur (who I recommend anyone reading this to check out), but your music is definitely going into my rotation!
Words can't express how glad I am that the frog quadrology didn't end and continued at least into the quintology. Don't stop, please, this is the best dungeon synth!
@@TalesUnderTheOak You caught exactly the right vibes of these genres! The music takes me back to my childhood, when you saw that the grass under your feet, small ponds, slumps and trees were full of small life, and all of them could hide a small magical story
Thank you for this. I purchased the vinyl of The toad King. Hope you will make the other albums in vinyl too. Full support, your music is absolutely stunning
You have created the most beautiful tapestry of evocative music. Thank you for this, and your other works. I love to listen to your music while I write adventures and stories for my gaming group. You inspire me.
15:04 - I discovered Dungeon Synth as a musical genre this year (although, as a black metal listener, I've heard it several times in some random track), and I'm a big fan of psychedelic music and genres like Cocteau Twins' dream pop, but this track has already become one of the best songs I've ever heard in this style.
Although not dungeon synth, I highly recommend you check out an artist called Voyage Futur if you enjoy this sort of natural sounding music- specifically their album Inner Sphere. I only recently discovered Tales Under Oak, but my immediate thought was that it scratched the same itch that I had from Voyage Futur, so you might find as much enjoyment in their music as I do. My first time listening to inner sphere was on mushrooms and it was incredible
@@MnemonicHeadTrip Thanks for the Voyage Futur tip! I "discovered" them a little over a week ago, thanks to a comment on a video of the genre that I saw somewhere, and since then I've been listening to them regularly, especially during my work hours where I work in software quality assurance. I've already added at least one of their tracks to my personal playlist (it's called Somafm - Drone Zone Station). I don't think Voyage Futur's sound is very similar to Tales Under The Oak. Voyage sounds like a mix of Dungeon Synth and Vaporwave, which isn't bad because they're two genres that I really like.
Has avivado la llama de nuestros sueños lejanos, sueños curativos de tierras magicas sin fin.Siento mucha gratitud y alegria hacia tu increible trabajo.! Solo puedo decir gracias😊
This is absolutely beautiful and marvelous! Thank you so much for sharing it with us. It's absolutely dreamy, and reminds me so much of "Through the Bramble Hedge". And I LOVE your cover art! ♥
so croaked for this
I see frog you did there!
Ribbeting conversation
Just a hop skip and a jump away
My father croaked 😢
Dear God please give every human more adventure in their lives.
Thank you.

Thank you, Lord, that there are still true adventure lovers left on earth.

The artist needs to be world renowned
Drawing bones for anatomy feels like medieval alchemy with this masterpiece
lol for a moment I read "drawing bones" like "drawing blood" I had you literally pulling bones from a cadaver. I blame the music.
🐸🐸🐸

The perfect soundtrack to the mossy, magical woodlands in autumn here in Wales.
