I look for ramekins and use them as saucers but what’s great are those big vases! I recently got a big tall one, put a Monstera cutting in some leca with water in a propagation vessel. It’s convenient because while rooting in water, the Leca keeps your cuttings at a certain level. The clear vases help me see root grown, then I can transfer the cuttings when they are ready. I am home bound this weekend due to an upcoming surgery..Covid is on the rise so I’m being extra careful until I recover…it was so much fun to shop with you! Thanks for taking us along!
If I was there I buy those glass cabinet and tv stand for my plant. Sometimes goodwill is great price if material is worth it. My favorite haul is that black candle holder
Not only did you get some really cute things you really got some good deals I know you probably don’t care but I wanted to tell you about the cabinet time stamp 1702 I think it’s an antique I’m 73 my grandmother had one similar they called it a China press they use to keep their best dishes and glasses they Hsiang the key so they could lock it up I just hope no one paints it it looked like oak now you got me wanting to go to my store for brass pots clothes for my husband thank you for taking us along
I found a large glass vase at Goodwill. I must have been looking for something at the time that I could used as a terrarium. After I found the vase, I needed to find a lid. I found some small pan lids and tried out one that probably would have fit a 1 qt saucepan. That thing fit the vase perfectly! I didn't break up a set, there wasn't a pot with that lid. I put a Fittonia plant in it and it stayed alive for it seemed like a year.
I liked that yellow pot! Nice design and texture. I thought about Goodwill when I was at Lowe's yesterday looking for a plain terra cotta pot for my Plumeria. I needed to put my Plumeria (which is just in a nursery pot) into something with some weight to it so the Plumeria wouldn't keep blowing over. It's blown over a couple of times and a couple of leaves were sitting against the wet grass and got brown. I didn't re-pot the Plumeria, I just plunked the nursery pot down into the 14" terra cotta pot. Should be heavy enough the Plumeria won't blow over anymore.
Fun! It was great seeing what you found. :) I think you should make a video showing your plantroom when you get all these pots filled. It would be a really good video! :)
Nice finds. The Rose pot is lovely. Lately I have been on the hunt for larger crystal vases that I can use for my plants in Pon. Clear pot, crystal vase…my Low Rider Alocasia looks amazing, and I can see the water level so I know when to top it off. Bonus!
Hi Ashley i will put 🌵 cactus in the pot's 5 succulent I 💘 2 shop in the thrift store. I buy my jewelry basket tassel purse candies curtains stutue thank u for bringing us along 👌
Love the pottery! I have a cut glass basket that I put wine bottle stoppers in. Great buys. My plants are getting bigger so I’m on the hunt for baskets since pots get too heavy.
I would of grabbed the watermelon basket bowl and would of made some holes at the bottom and would of planted some kind of trailing plant. I bet it would of looked pretty.
I wish our Goodwills were as organized as the ones in Charlotte. Do you ever try habitat? I had a friend tell me just today that she gets really amazing deals on large pots at Estate Sales.
I plant my plants in plastic nursery pots with a lot of drainage and then place the nursery pot into cover pots depending on which look I like. That way, I can change the decorative cover pots whenever I feel like it without having to repot the plant.
We have charity shops here where people donate there items they no longer want. No thrift stores. I find there stuff very granny and antique looking. And doesn’t go with my modern look at home things you find in them.
What is it with us planty people, we love to sort through other peoples junk in thrift stores when we need to really get rid of a bunch of our own junk, 😅😅😅 I could fill Goodwill with all of the stuff I have...but it's starting to get on my nerves, I need to purge.
Love to see a video where you show what plants you decide to home in each pot and their location.
Yess
Will do!
Agree! I love everything you picked up
I wish i can find those same treasures as well
Love this idea!

Why is your goodwill pricing so so much better than mine?! I can’t even find a tee shirt for under $6!! So jealous
They can defiantly be pricey sometimes! I got lucky!
Ahh I would have grabbed that metal gold plant stand on the right on the bottom shelf at 6:34!
Ah I missed it!!
The colander you can used for orchids, my eyes only see pots for plants in everything 😂😂
Fun! It was great seeing what you found. :)
I think you should make a video showing your plantroom when you get all these pots filled. It would be a really good video! :)
Definitely!
Ditto on a video showing where you put the pots and what plants you put in them!?

Love that!
Not sure if you have a Hobby Lobby but I got great plant stands etc. All were 75% off. Literally plant stands for $4
Great deal!
Love all the pots you got.
Thanks!
WOW! the pricing at your Goodwill's are so good! My area GW are almost as much as the retail stores. UGH!
Oh wow!
Today I won’t cover pot shopping, and I found some face parts from Abbet ceramics and a Beautiful abbet Plant cover pot with legs
You found some good stuff! Wish we had that pricing up here in Chicago.
💚💚
I love to go thrift stores ,i notice here in Florida that they raised the prices maybe because there's more people buying in thrift stores.
Omg good finds🙌😁🪴 You are making me want to go shopping 🛍 😅
😁
Your videos are enjoyable
Love the pottery! I have a cut glass basket that I put wine bottle stoppers in. Great buys. My plants are getting bigger so I’m on the hunt for baskets since pots get too heavy.
Great idea!!
Your yellowish glass bowl may be uranium glass and glow under a black light.
I was wondering about that! I should bring a little black light with me.
I would of grabbed the watermelon basket bowl and would of made some holes at the bottom and would of planted some kind of trailing plant. I bet it would of looked pretty.
Love that idea!
I ❤ Thriftshop
Hi Ashley can you do some thrifty pots and do some succulent arrangements . I think that would be funn❤
Great idea!!
Lovely pots
Like it
Thank you! Cheers!
When you are a crazy plant lady, everything can be made into something for plants 😂❤😂
So true!
No goodwill by me but Rite aid pharmacy has their summer garden items 70% off. I bought 3 pots . You really found some cute stuff . 🙌🏼
Thanks for the tip!
I wish our Goodwills were as organized as the ones in Charlotte.
Do you ever try habitat?
I had a friend tell me just today that she gets really amazing deals on large pots at Estate Sales.
Great idea!!
I’m new here And new at plants. What is a cover pot ? And can I replant into a pot that doesn’t have holes on the bottom. ?
I plant my plants in plastic nursery pots with a lot of drainage and then place the nursery pot into cover pots depending on which look I like. That way, I can change the decorative cover pots whenever I feel like it without having to repot the plant.
We have charity shops here where people donate there items they no longer want. No thrift stores. I find there stuff very granny and antique looking. And doesn’t go with my modern look at home things you find in them.
That’s what a thrift store is. 90% of the items are donated
What is it with us planty people, we love to sort through other peoples junk in thrift stores when we need to really get rid of a bunch of our own junk, 😅😅😅 I could fill Goodwill with all of the stuff I have...but it's starting to get on my nerves, I need to purge.
I love a good purge and I love a good splurge! 😂
Your rose pot looks like it may be a Wemys one (pronounced Weems and worth a lot of money!) so google just in case
Oh wow!!
Goodwill is too pricey for me 😂
I find other smaller thrift stores to be cheaper.
I noticed they have been raising their prices!
What is a cover pot?
🤩🤩🤩🤩
💚💚
TRASHTASTIC !!! ❤❤❤
😂😂💚💚
