Sweet thank you for the video my door handle just recently broke off my 02 Elantra so got to get a new one and fix it. Having a video to watch on how to do it makes it easy thanks.
Also thanks for trying to get your camera way up inside the door as that has been so difficult for the makers of repairing door handles. You did a nice job on the visuals up close . No one else got that close that i have seen .......so thank you.
Does the bolt go thru that little hole on the cylander to hold it in place? I am struggling to put the key cylinder back in as it looks like i am on the right track. The holes on my new door handle piece did not line up exactly ........so i made some adjustments with the Damsel Tool ... trim off metal ....maybe 1/16 or less as the bolts got obstructed. My first time doing this as i want to keep my little red 2002 Hyndai Accent L 5spd car. i have to go slow and squeeze my hands into this tiny place. thanks.
The only actual difficult part where you push the whole assembly out is missing. Working on a 2003 model and the handle needs to be removed to get the space to take out the rest of it but the pin with the spring around it won't slide through no matter what position its in
Mostly the 10mm socket is used to tighten the golden bolts or some may need a different one depending on model n year of your car. Also imost regular screw drivers work and a security bit driver with the shape of an 'x' can be very useful. Since so many cars have their own little quirky parts, it is a tough question to answer. Hope it helps.
This was sort of useful. Not super clear on few areas such as lock positioning when putting all back together. Only video or diagram i could find so I guess its good I can figure things out. Good as a GENERAL reference

Wtf happened from 1:17 to 1:21 that’s the only part I need to know handle seems to be stuck in
