Hearts on the Hill 2024 Sizzle Reel

Cardiac arrest survivors, families who have lost a loved one to cardiac arrest, health care providers and other You’re the Cure advocates from across the country joined the American Heart Association in Washington, D.C. to ask their elected representatives to support the bipartisan Access to AEDs Act and HEARTS Act.
This legislation would authorize federal funding to help school districts:
- Provide CPR and AED training for students, staff and sports coaches.
- Purchase AEDs and related equipment.
- Develop cardiac emergency response plans.
