A septal myectomy sounds like lots of fun! I can't wait! Seriously, thanks for the video.
No problem LG, I am happy to help. Best of luck in your surgery and hope you have a relaxing recovery.
Ive had two open heart surgeries. One when i was 1 week old and 8 years old. I was born with congenial heart disease. I really related to your story and it brought back memories. It makes you appreciate live. You are an amazing man and i hope we can connect better

I appreciate your support and kind words. Happy Thanksgiving!
I have had two open heart surgery's. One was a Septal Myectomy, and the second was for my Mitral Valve. You described it perfectly nice job.
Thanks for sharing!
Incredible. Thank you so much for sharing. I came to your video because I’m doing a lot of research on this type of surgery for my book, where one of my characters has gone through something similar. Much love to you!!
I'm glad my video could provide some insight for your book research. Best of luck with your character's journey!
I’m post week 3. Horrific experience. Thanks for your video
Yes it was horrible but I am more healthier now than I have ever been.
I have to go through this soon, not looking forward to it!
I had a septal myectomy and valve repair at Tufts February 2018. Dr Rastegar was my surgeon. I see Dr Rowin every year now for my checkup.
Each day post surgery was marked by something being removed. That’s how I measured my progress.
I will be seeing Dr. Rowin in just a few weeks love that guy. I also had Dr. Rastegar he is world-class.

Medical stuff scares me because we lose control of our world, we put our lives in the hands of others, it takes a lot of trust and faith in the unknown. Even though statistically you're probably going to be fine, it is still a freaky thing. Having a strong spiritual base helps. We never know when our time will come, we should live each day like it could be our last, say I love you to people and be ready for what may come.
It's true, medical situations can be daunting, but having trust in the professionals and staying positive can make a big difference.
What is life expectancy after a septal myectomy?
Life has its ups and downs. I formed arrhythmias a few months after the surgery.
I checked a lot of vids about this, because I will have a surgery on 19.6..... Everything is clear for me but one thing is still open and this how it is with the poo? 💩💩💩? Sorry i don't know the correct wording in English 😂😂but yes it is something what scares me
