Later this new year coming, I'm going to grab a couple of 4x12 cabs (empty only) and put my entire 15X 2way behind the grill AND I'm putting one of these new Boss IR2 into a giant tube type head on top (also empty) behind the grill and wreck a bunch of tube purists and princesses just for a giggle..🤣

How does IR-2 take different pedals?? I had Strymon Iridium before, nice in some ways, but got rid of it because it didn't play well with pedals

@thepedalpicassos and there is another thing that I'm wondering. : if I want to go to the power amp in for monitoring on stage and go to the FOH can I use the stereo out of my reverb in the loop to go to the power amp in or does this signal already carry the cab signal?
The question I was going to ask. Anyone else can confirm this? My use is in a stereo rig (AC15 & FBjr) pedalboard with mod and possibly reverb in the fx loop. When I am playing and mic recording I will likely bypass the IR-2. With amps off silent practice I would prefer a solution that I don't have to reroute my fx in the IR-2 loop.
i'd like a pedal like this except it's just focused on a clean tone with maximum headroom. i don't want to sound like 'classic amps'. I don't want a bunch of different tone profiles. I want the company to focus on it sounding amazing like a clean tube amp with plenty of headroom as a pedal platform. maybe the milkman amp stereo would be this but it's above my current price range. I just find it pretty cheesy that this has a knob to choose between a marshall/fender/vox or whatever. i don't want all that. i have pedals to change my tone. just focus all resources on the basics and sell it to me for 200-300. if something like that is on the market i'll but it today.

I’m hearing you! I’m running a Joyo American at the end of my pedalboard for duo gigs. Straight into the PA. Set to edge of breakup clean. Three other gain stages, a nice analog delay, reverb and some wobble. Sounds great!
