Beautiful day with your mom and auntie. Thank you for bringing us along to your aunts apartment and showing meal you shared together. And dare I forget to say thank you for the beautiful singing🥰 I hope this reaches you and those you love in great health and happiness❤️🙏😎

I lived in East Germany (GDR) and many would say things are definitely better than under socialism (it wasn't communism). I will tell you this: the interpersonal relationships are what I miss the most. The sharing or good things and bad, the sense of community and the unbelievable resilience of the human spirit when faced with daily adversity. I miss the days of Communism/Socialism for things that were good. It is important to never lump the various parts into one pile. Many people my age would gladly go back to having no VCRs, cellphones or internet if we had all the simple things that made us happy living in a managed 'shortage' economy. When I see these videos I get almost homesick for those days of simplicity. In 1989 the East Germans sold their souls and their identity for bananas, western cars and Marlboros. Many of them would go back and change that decision of they could: over 40 years later they are still second-class citizens.

As far as the bathroom goes, most housing here in American has the shower, toilet and sink in the same room. The kitchen looks adequate to me as well. If I was in the unemployment bracket I wouldn’t have to pay a cent. See, this is what President Obama was trying to give you, yet all you did was complain, reject and threatened. Of course it isn’t perfect here either but it’s very close to perfect. I could go on and on but I think you’ll understand. When I visit the USA and see people in their 80s still working, it reminded me why I was never drawn to that country.
Very interesting video. Does your aunt own the spartment? What will she do as she gets older with those stairs?? Do all pensioners her age live in the same way or are there others in better financial conditions? I think she has a very nice place and lives frugally. I wish her a long life. Nice seeing your mom also.
There pensioners in better conditions but more in worse I think. We help our antie and she is doing great job by living gracefully getting just peanuts for pension..
She was cocker, and had low salary. But another people like building workers, technologist, engineers, teachers , doctors have higher salary of course.
Majority of Russians especially older generation own their own apartment/house, they also have free medicine and taking that education is free too - no financial pressure due to mortgages or consumer loans, the utilities and electricity bills are times lower than in Europe and US and still the government subsidises half of the costs for pensioners. They complain how low their pension is but never mention that it is fully disposable income and all the benefits they get from the state, it may strike you as impossible but in many respects Russian pensioners are richer than their western counterparts. And yes they can both work and receive the pension, and their experience is highly demanded in the labour market (in fact Russia imports a lot of workforce from abroad).
Seniors in the US are very bad off in many cases. They can't afford to fix their homes. They have no money to move, often are rural without transportation. Medical insurance and doctor's visits they have no money for.
Thanks for taking us along to visit your sister. I grew up in Berlin, Germany after the war. My mom and us three children loved in one room for 7 years, but we were happy. So when I see your sister's place, it is big enough for one person. Now I live in Canada in an apartment by myself.
The truth is, Putin is a very rich man who doesn't care about the people of Russia. This is a lovely video looking at the lives of ordinary people. God bless you.
Thank you for the time we spent with your family. Wonderful. Communism is more intrusive into your life but freedom allows you that bit of choice, like religion. Your life under Russia can be like your life during the USSR where rules were followed more inclusively rather than forgotten. Ladies I truly enjoyed the company, the food and drink and the education on Russian life and the cost of living there. Bless you all.
Understand NOT every American supports these sanctions. NOR do we believe the government lies. We are being played like pawns. I pray for peace with all of Russia. I'm at y'all and we are going thru this.
I support sanctions! Russia should not be attacking a free country. Ukrainian people are fighting hard they don’t want to live in Russia they want to be free and have their own country. So it should be. I don’t blame Ukrainian people if Russia rolled into the USA every citizen would take up arms and fight back. We all have guns here or can get them. Many women here are good shots as well as men. I don’t blame Ukraine. Americans would do the same thing. On the other hand I do like Russian people so it’s nothing personal at all. Americans would fight to the death to be free. That’s just how it is. Russia is a beautiful country and I love your culture and people. You are free to live under the government you have. If you don’t like it you can fight too. Like all government it has it’s good points and bad I’m sure.

@@clairewyndham1971 it is, and there are different types of pensioners in Russia - my mom worked more than 40 years in subartic area and she receives three times more than the lady in the video - the pensions depend on the working experience and also on the working conditions. There some professions like policemen, the military that may start receiving their pension as soon as they turn 30 y.o.
I'm glad to have read your message. I know for myself the federal government here in America says I have too much retirement money to qualify for any help on rent. Medical coverage, utilities, or for food. That SOUNDS wonderful, right? Well, the reason is, besides only getting the money I worked for, the tables and formulas "they" are using are relying on data that is well over 15 years old and everyone knows how inflation has drained people luke me, but with no help on the horizon. I was very impressed with both women in your video. Strong, adaptable and dignified. Thank you
Thank you for sharing. It seems like a very hard life. And i think due to recent events, unfortunately life will be a lot harder now for the people of Russia. Communism was terrible in the USSR, and this life now does not seem much better
It’s not too bad, it isn’t huge but then it’s light and airy in the living room compared to many Russian apartments. So many are dark, tatty looking and covered in the typical heavy rugs s on the walls in typical Babushka style. This is pleasant and light and airy and she has her windows onto the balcony to open for fresh air. Loving the little dogs, absolutely adorable.

Hello from Michigan USA! Lovely life you have and I am a Christian too!
God Bless you ... precious ladies. May the Lord continue to keep you in His care. Grace from the USA

Very nice video. Thank you for sharing your family with us.
Wow 😳 great apartment and not too much stuff, good health to you and your sister, greetings from New York 🙏🙏🙏
I love watching your videos, lots of love from Michigan
Thank you. I like the perspectives. For me, freedom to worship is vital.
Thanks for taking us along to visit your sister.
I grew up in Berlin, Germany after the war. My mom and us three children loved in one room for 7 years, but we were happy. So when I see your sister's place, it is big enough for one person.
Now I live in Canada in an apartment by myself.
Very good, informative film-making. Thank you, I learned quite a bit. Best regards from a 🇨🇦 in 🇦🇺
The truth is, Putin is a very rich man who doesn't care about the people of Russia. This is a lovely video looking at the lives of ordinary people. God bless you.
greeting from Indonesia...very nice video, always enjoy the video showing about ordinary people.
It's so strange to me in such a huge country people don't live in houes but in apartments.
Agree!!
For old people, warm appartment can be much better than house. Remember russian winters. And also much cheaper to operate.
Hristos a înviat. May you have health, love, undestanding and all the good you wish. From România
Love from Australia. These sanctions are appalling. ❤️❤️
sanction will kill we in Europe. no Russia. USA. BAIDEN LOVE TO POOT EUROPE IN MISERY. LOVE PUTIN LOVING HIS PEOPLE..
Thanks for Auntie & Mom for sharing their personal life.
Let's put this into perspective, their not the only citizens of the world who are doing it tough. Billions are doing it tougher than them.
Of course, also in USA are imbeciles that cannot face the fact, that Russian looters and murders must bu stopped to save lives of peoples in Ukraine.
Like all government it has it’s good points and bad I’m sure.
these sisters are lovely, and so is their daughter/niece.
You're such a beautiful family!
😍❤thank you our dear friend!!

Interesting
Thank you
What a dull lifeless depressing place Russia looks like.
Donne così saprebbero guidare qualunque Paese, con amore e semplicità.
Thank you for sharing. It seems like a very hard life. And i think due to recent events, unfortunately life will be a lot harder now for the people of Russia. Communism was terrible in the USSR, and this life now does not seem much better
I love you all, I hope you know that. You are such wonderful people.God bless you all.
Hai kshusha. Greetings to you and your family. Awaiting more videos from you dear sister 🇹🇯💝
Thank you!! ❤
Thank you, God, for ensuring I .wasn't born & raised in Russia
How people in Russia live with the sanctions interesting, not quite like people in the Ukraine are living since the invasion.
Very nice vid thanks
They look healthy they can work still
It’s not too bad, it isn’t huge but then it’s light and airy in the living room compared to many Russian apartments. So many are dark, tatty looking and covered in the typical heavy rugs s on the walls in typical Babushka style. This is pleasant and light and airy and she has her windows onto the balcony to open for fresh air. Loving the little dogs, absolutely adorable.
This is pure gold Bless you
Saw the hi from new york! Here is a girl from new york city saying hi back! What a charming channel :)
I like your icons on your religious shelf you have set up. It's beautiful. We use lots of religious candies in U.S.
Thanks so much.
Thank you for removing the mask that the politicians and diplomats want to put on you. We could be neighbors and share dinner. You could watch my dog when I am away and I could cook you treats. From one good human to another, be blessed and happiness upon you
I enjoy watching your channel...such positive Vibes! I hope you can do some updates on the "Hermit" man, and when you harvest veggies from garden. I think a cooking vid to show us how you use your garden veggies would be cool. How to make home-made wine too! My sister has tried and tried to do that! ahahhahahaha Thanks for sharing! Bright Blessings!
Very...❣️🤣🤣🤣... Thank'YOU ❣️
How lovely were your Mother and Aunt - so delightful and interesting. The end of the video came to quickly as I thoroughly enjoyed them both reminiscing about their lives.
Please give them my best wishes from London, England 🏴
Dear Patruchevs, I hope and pray to see more videos of your dear mother Lucy! She is such a beautiful woman & soul with a heart of gold. Yes it's a strange world...old canadians women share some characteristics in the way they live in the religious way maybe...but most retirees womens in canada live in better conditions of living...maybe is in some far away regions it's possible...but not in the cities...the pension is better for the standard of living...most canadians have a better retirement than that...sad to say sorry...it's strange to see how they live in some others countries...it's sad what's happening about ukraine and russians have to understand why...

So basically very much like English people. Someone in London would have a very similar size flat.
May Lord protect them from evil regime .
Very nice video. Apartment was pretty and pleasant, but no community garden? Thanks from USA. 👍
life have to be very bad, if they think soviet union was better, I remember soviet union. Was impossible to buy basic food(not hungry), ugly , uncomfortable clothes. How people want this horrible thing. 125€ pension Country is full of gas and oil, everytime when Russia has little bit more money they start to built tanks and attack some country. Interesting to ask why pension is so low, what they think?
