I don't believe Tony thinks the guy seems gay, he just said that because he noticed Carmela giving the guy some looks and decided to make her think he was gay so not to go after him.
That's also why he decided to offer the guy money, to assert dominance over him in front of Carmela, as if to say "here peasant, take my pocket change".
TIDE was a reference to the film "Prince of Tides" which Tony was watching on the TV in which Nick Nolte's character has a romantic relationship with his psychiatrist, played by Barbara Streisand.
i always thought it was bs that tony put a hit on Furio. Before coming to America, Furio was a high ranking member (and I think related to the boss lady seen in S2) in the Southern Italian mafia who are far stronger and influential than the NY families and the pygmy crew in Jersey. Whoever Tony spoke to probably laughed as soon as they hung up. He may not have called at all, it could have just been a show for Carm,
about women not being kind when they let guys down, it's a mix between having many thirsty guys interested so you can't spend all that time doing it and having guys who just can't understand a no, so you have to verbally punch them in the face sometimes multiple times for them to understand
8:45 If everybody knows that they're mobsters in the same team. And the news talk about it so openly. Why the police doesn't arrest them then? Maybe someone could clarify it to me?
Evidence, witnesses, all that news would be viewed as hearsay in court… case would be thrown out without hesitation plus they can’t arrest anyone based on the news if that news is not evidence of monsters in the act of committing a crime. That’s y the feds build Rico cases to tear down the organization but they have to gather evidence

As long as Tony gave them something worth it they would've took Furio out lol
Season 5 is my favorite season of the sopranos. So many great moments to look forward to
19:16 lol, yeah Robert Loggia. He was literally an old man forever haha. Passed away in 2015.
Steve Buscemi, he also directed the pine barrens episode I think.
36:20 This scene about the tipping really illustrates the sociopathy these characters have.
