It gives me joy to see you explore and discover the rich history of Istanbul. For some strange reason which I don't care to elaborate now, it feels good
As a local, it is not the best time to visit Istanbul due to weather conditions and election times (people are usually very nervous at those times). Istanbul is a huge city and hard to explore in 4 days. But you have visited most of the touristic places in the center of Istanbul and experienced the culture. There are also many places to visit outside the center of Istanbul and each place has its own characteristics. If you are ever in Turkey again, I would recommend the Aegean and Mediterranean regions in the spring and summer months and the Central Anatolia, Black Sea and Eastern regions for more cultural and food experiences.
Haha. Ayran is an acquired taste for the Western palate corrupted with sugary drinks. It will grow on you if you let it. It just takes a bit of time to fully appreciate. It is very healthy and refreshing once you get used to it. It goes very well especially with kebabs, pide, lahmacun etc.
I really enjoy your enthusiasm as we follow you on your journey. Your choice of foods, so much historical background, insights into activities on the streets, and glimpses into life in Istanbul. This vlog is really good!

Yogurt is normally sour, therefore you prepare sour drinks with that yogurt. Turks are doing it right, slightly unusual for European and US citizens. When you need to acquire a new taste, just do it.
This is a wonderful video. Keep posting.
